Modular railing suitable for variable installation slopes
11851905 · 2023-12-26 · ·

The present invention teaches a modular railing, in which the various modules that constitute it can be connected to each other in a simple and aesthetically homogeneous way. This modular railing provides that even the individual modules can in turn be made with interchangeable parts. All suitably standardized, so as to preserve the possibility of using, in large quantities, identical pieces. Each module of the railing comprises: at least a support pole placed at one end of said section of railing, and suitable for being fixed to the ground, an upper horizontal bar that connects two support poles (and coupled to them near their upper end), a lower horizontal bar that connects two support poles (and coupled to them near their base), and a plurality of vertical rods that connect said two upper and lower horizontal bars.

ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING EXTRUDED MEMBERS

A privacy and sound barrier fence system and apparatus is disclosed. The fence is erected with interlocking horizontal or vertical panels which are held in place by posts at the ends of the boards. The boards are equipped with a tongue and groove system, configured to enable the boards to interlock, forming a solid wall segment. Each segment, referred to as a module, may be connected at a 90 degree angle, to permit a turn in the fence. Adjustable mounting points on the posts allow for the modules to be disposed in a step orientation or at a slope for non-level terrain. The boards ensure that the erected fence remains aesthetically pleasing from both the front and rear of the fence. The fence system does not employ any structural rain reinforcement connecting the posts, and is capable of withstanding hurricane-strength winds.

A fence panel system comprises a first elongate frame member having a plurality of panel spacers projecting from a rearward facing wall in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the first elongate frame member, such that respective spacer pairs define open-ended channels therebetween that, in use, are adapted to receive fence panel ends. A second elongate frame member is adapted to secure to the first elongate frame member so as to close the open-ended channels for retaining the fence panel ends therein.

Embodiments of the present application provides a system and method of a fence assembly. The system includes a vertical member, one or more channel rails, and an array of mating apertures running along the one or more channel rails for coupling a plurality of rails. In another embodiment, a fence system includes a first vertical member, a second vertical member, one or more channel rails, and a plurality of rails positioned between the first vertical member and the second vertical member according to the at least one channel among the one or more channels rails, the plurality of rails coupled the corresponding channel rails via a plurality of mating apertures.

A panel-post connector plate 16 for connecting a fence post 12 to an adjacent fence panel 14. The panel-post connector plate 16 comprises a plate body 84 having a post-receiving aperture 86 for receiving at least part of the fence post 12 therethrough, and a fastener receiving aperture 92 for receiving a fastener to attach the plate body 84 to a panel-body of the adjacent fence panel 14. A header-rail engagement member 94 is at or adjacent to the plate body 84, the header-rail engagement member 94 receivable in the header rail 26 of the adjacent fence panel 14. A temporary rail support device, a gravel-board retaining element, a fence post and a fence are also described.

Conductive barrier

Structural components of a barrier, including posts, rails and pickets, are formed from a conductive substrate that is encased in a corrosion-resistant nonconductive coating. These structural components are assembled by aligning fastener openings in a pair of components, and joining the paired components with a conductive bolt. The shank of the bolt has an enlarged section of peripheral longitudinal ridges that forms an interference fit within each of the aligned fastener openings. Forming this interference fit abrades away the nonconductive coating within the openings, and allows the shank to form a conductive link between the joined structural components.

ENGINEERED FENCE PICKETS WITH SHIP LAPPED EDGES
20200056398 · 2020-02-20 ·

An engineered wood fence picket and system for manufacturing fence pickets using engineered wood products, including, but not limited to, oriented-strand board (OSB), laminated veneer lumber (LVL), fiber strand, and/or laminated strand lumber (LSL). The opposing right and left edges of each picket has corresponding elements of a joint, such as, but not limited to, a shiplap joint or tongue-and-groove joint. A fence or fence segment may be constructed by aligning a plurality of said fence pickets vertically or horizontally so that the edges of adjacent pickets mate or meet to form a joint. The fence can be assembled more quickly and cheaply than with any prior art materials, and the fence will be higher quality, with longer life, thinner and lighter, and minimal maintenance.

System and method for vertical and horizontal in-fill installation

Disclosed is a fence system. The fence system, comprising: a first post; a second post, wherein each of the first post and the second post comprises a first set of ribs and a second set of ribs; a lower rail, wherein a first end of the lower rail is adapted to terminate at a face of the first set of ribs of the first post and a second end of the lower rail is adapted to terminate at a face of the first set of ribs of the second post; and an upper rail, wherein the lower rail and the upper rail are positioned to receive one or more infill boards, such that the one or more infill boards are adapted to terminate at a face of the second set of ribs of the first post and at a face of the second set of ribs of the second post.
