VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a base comprising a bin, a cover configured to move in an opening direction to uncover the bin and a closing direction to cover the bin, and a mechanism to retain the cover to the base. The mechanism may comprise a cam to retain the cover to the base. The cam may rotate to latch the cover to the base and unlatch the cover from the base. The mechanism may comprise an interface to rotate from a raised position to a depressed position to release the cover from the base. The cover may move in the opening direction as the interface rotates from the raised toward the depressed position. The mechanism may comprise a pin. The interface may disengage from the pin to unlatch the cover from the base. The interface may slide against the pin.
Latching assembly
A latching assembly for releasably securing a first member to a second member, the latch assembly comprising a housing, at least two jaws pivotally mounted to the housing, the jaws pivotable between an open position and a closed position, the assembly comprising a locking member moveable between a locked position to lock the jaws in the closed position and an unlocked position to allow the jaws to revert to the open position.
Locking mechanism for safe and other secure storage apparatus
A locking mechanism suitable for use with a door or other entry point is contemplated. The locking mechanism may include cams, levers or other features operable to facilitate securing the door against prying, wedging and related techniques intended to compromise secure by physically separating the door from a door frame or other support structure.

CABINET LOCK FOR MERCHANDISE SECURITY
Embodiments of the invention are directed to merchandise security devices, systems, and methods for protecting an item of merchandise from theft. For example, a merchandise security device may include a lock configured to be secured to a movable structure and a strike plate configured to be secured to a fixed support structure. The movable structure is configured to move along a path into engagement with the fixed support structure to secure the item of merchandise therein in a locked state and to move out of engagement with the fixed support structure for removal of the item of merchandise in an unlocked state. The lock is configured to engage the strike plate in the locked state and to disengage the strike plate in the unlocked state, and the lock is configured to engage the strike plate along the same path as the movable structure.
S-hook latch
A latching mechanism is described comprising: a latching component and a retaining component; wherein the latching component comprises means for receiving a hook in use, and a pivoting feature which is configured to allow said latching component to pivot relative to said retaining component.
FASTENING DEVICES
A lid fastening device configured to fasten a lid of an object member and capable of opening and closing an opening formed in the object member includes a knob, and a rod configured to slide from an initial position when the knob is pushed. In addition, the device includes strikers each having an engagement claw capable of engaging engagement portions formed in the object member and each being configured to rotate between an initial position in which each of the engagement claws engages the engagement portions to produce a fastened condition of the lid and a released position in which the fastened condition of the lid is released due to a sliding motion of the rod. Further, the device includes return springs that are configured to bias each of the strikers rotated to the released position so as to return the same to the initial position with the rod.

LOCKING ENCLOSURE
A lockable enclosure includes a housing, a locking mechanism, and an access door assembled with the housing and movable between a closed position and an open position. When the access door is in the closed position, at least one latch member is movable between an interlocking position in interlocking engagement with a staple portion at a location spaced apart from adjoining perimeter edges of the housing and the access door, and a releasing position disengaged from the staple portion to permit movement of the access door from the closed position to the open position. The locking mechanism is operable between a locking condition in which the at least one latch member is secured in the interlocking position, and an unlocked condition in which the at least one latch member is movable to the releasing position.
