Movable panels with nonlinear tracks
A vehicle includes a movable panel that is movable between a closed position and an open position, a first track, a second track, and an arm that is connected to the movable panel, the first track, and the second track. A lateral spacing between the first track and the second track varies along the first track and the second track in a front-to-rear direction. The arm pivots with respect to the first track and the second track in correspondence with the lateral spacing between the first track and the second track during movement of the arm along the first track and the second track.
Guiding device for a sliding door
The guiding device serves for holding and guiding a sliding door, with which a furniture opening of a piece of furniture can be closed. The guiding device comprises a guide fitting that is connectable to the sliding door and that is connected via a first articulated joint to a first end piece of a guide lever, whose second end piece is connected via a second articulated joint to a guide carriage, which comprises a carriage body that holds at least one guide roller, which is guided in a guide channel that extends at least on one side in a terminal channel section along a curve into the furniture opening.
EXTENDED RANGE SLIDING DOOR HINGE
An extended range sliding door hinge may include a track bracket assembly and an intermediate bracket. The track bracket assembly is sized to be operatively received by a vehicle door track assembly. A first end of the intermediate bracket is movably mounted to the track bracket assembly so that the intermediate bracket may be moved with respect to the track bracket assembly between a retracted position and an extended position. A second end of the intermediate bracket is sized to operatively engage a vehicle sliding door. The extended range sliding door hinge allows the vehicle sliding door to be moved between a standard position when the intermediate bracket is in the retracted position and an extended position when the intermediate bracket is in the extended position.
Method of extending opening ranges of vehicle sliding doors
Vehicle door structure
Provided is a vehicle door structure that enables manufacturing cost reduction and weight reduction. A vehicle door structure 1 includes a lock mechanism 40. The lock mechanism 40 locks sliding of a slide door 6 in a fully closed position in which the slide door 6 closes a door opening portion 4 and in a fully open position in which the slide door 6 fully opens the door opening portion 4. The lock mechanism 40 includes the portion to be locked 50 provided to the guided body 18 and the locking portions 60 and 70 provided to the slide rail 17. The portion to be locked 50 protrudes toward the locking portions 60 and 70 and is locked by the locking portions 60 and 70 in the fully closed position or the fully open position.
Center roller assembly for a vehicle slide door
A center roller assembly for a vehicle slide door includes a support arm having a first end portion hingedly connected to the vehicle slide door and a second end portion. A roller unit includes a load roller rotatably connected to the second end portion by a load roller shaft and first and second guide rollers flanking the load roller and rotatably connected to the second end portion by first and second guide roller shafts. A first drive cable has a first attachment member secured to an end portion thereof and directly connected to the first guide roller shaft. A second drive cable has a second attachment member secured to an end portion thereof and directly connected to the second guide roller shaft. The first and second guide roller shafts are each configured to prevent disengagement of the first and second attachment members from the first and second guide roller shafts.
SLIDING DOOR SUPPORT DEVICE
A sliding door support device includes a guide rail extending in a front-rear direction, and a roller unit moving along the guide rail. In a case where the sliding door moves between a fully closed position and a fully open position, the roller unit is configured to maintain a state where a hinge axis is positioned in an opening direction with respect to a rotation axis of at least one of two first guide rollers regardless of the position of the sliding door.
