A spindle drive for an adjustable element of a motor vehicle is provided with a drive unit having a drive unit housing formed in a materially uniform manner, the spindle drive having two drive portions which run in opposition to one another, the spindle-side drive portion having a torsion tube formed in a materially uniform manner with an engagement portion, and the spindle nut being in rotationally fixed but axially displaceable engagement with the engagement portion to form a torque support. The torsion tube has a fastening portion which is fastened to the drive unit housing in a rotationally fixed and axially fixed manner.

A method of counterbalancing a dishwasher door pivotal about a range of rotation between an opened position and a closed position on a dishwasher cabinet. The method comprises applying a varying counterbalancing force to the dishwasher door throughout the range of rotation to effect at least two of true-hold, auto-close, or slow-open of the door.

A flap fitting for an item of furniture includes a housing which can be fixed to a body. A supporting arm is rotatably mounted on the housing. The flap fitting includes a pivotably mounted control arm. The supporting arm and the control arm can be hingedly connected to a flap at an attachment point via spaced-apart axes of rotation. A damper is provided at the attachment point and can be actuated via a movement of the supporting arm and/or the control arm in the event of an opening movement of the flap, before the maximum opening position is reached.

A dishwasher comprising a cabinet, a door, and a counterbalance assembly coupling the cabinet to the door. The counterbalance assembly has a guide member with a rotatable pulley with a fixed radius and a cam affixed to one side of the pulley and having a varying radius. The cam and the pulley rotate about a pulley axis of rotation as a single unit. The counterbalance has a force applicator that applies a counterbalance force to one of the pulley or cam, and the counterbalance has a connector that couples the other of the pulley or cam to the door. The counterbalance force applies a varying counterbalance torque to the door that is a function of the ratio between the fixed radius and the varying radius over the pivotal range of the door.

The invention relates to a control arm for joining a flap holder to a flap, folding flap, door, or the like in an articulated manner, the control arm comprising at least one first and one second telescoping arm displaceably guided thereon for adjusting the length thereof, and the control arm comprising at least one fixing device for fixing the position of the two telescoping arms relative to each other. It is thereby provided that a detent connection acting between the telescoping arms in the direction of the change in length thereof is associated with the control arm and comprises at least two detent settings disposed along the change in length of the control arm and spaced apart by a detent spacing.

The invention further relates to a lifting device having such a control arm and a method for adjusting the length of such a control arm.

The length of the control arm can be easily and quickly adjusted to the particular flap, folding flap, door, or the like.

The invention relates to a shutter fitting, in particular for a piece of furniture, said fitting comprising a housing which can be fixed to a body, on which housing a supporting arm is mounted rotatably, and comprising a pivotably mounted control arm, wherein the supporting arm and the control arm can be hingedly connected to a shutter via spaced-apart axes of rotation, wherein the supporting arm drives a first gearwheel in the event of a rotary movement, which first gearwheel directly or indirectly drives a second gearwheel, wherein the control arm is rotatably mounted on the second gearwheel at a distance from the axis of rotation of the second gearwheel, and to a piece of furniture comprising a shutter fitting of this kind.

The present invention relates to household articles, in particular to a flip-up support device and a furniture piece with the flip-up support device. The flip-up support device comprises a base (1), an upper connecting assembly and a lower connecting assembly hinged to the base, a flip-up support member hinged to the upper connecting assembly and the lower connecting assembly, a fixing mechanism rotatably connected to the flip-up support member and the upper connecting assembly, a cushion member connected to the lower connecting assembly, and an adjusting assembly for adjusting a cushion force of the cushion member. The cushion force of the cushion member acts on the fixing mechanism via the lower connecting assembly and the flip-up support member. The structure of the flip-up support device is simple and compact, the operation is stable, and the noise is low. The cushion force of the cushion member can be adjusted by the adjusting assembly according to the actual required cushion force, thereby meeting the user's needs and being convenient for the user to use.
