Spring hinge base structure
A spring hinge base structure is provided, including: a body, having a first tube and a first plate portion; locking units each having a cover and an engagement member, each engagement member being engaged within the cover, two of the locking units being connected to opposite ends of the first tube; an elastic element, engaged with the two locking units; a second plate portion; and a shaft, disposed through the respective cover and respective engagement member, wherein the second plate portion is integral and rotatably movable together with one of the locking units by a bump component and abutted between the second plate portion and one of the locking unit.
CLOSING AID IN A LOCKING MECHANISM OF A LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLAP, LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT, AND VEHICLE WITH CLOSING AID
A closing aid for a luggage compartment flap is described, which closing aid comprises an actuating element, a movement element and a connecting element. The actuating element is integrated in a locking mechanism of the luggage compartment flap. The connecting element connects the actuating element to the movement element and transmits a movement of the actuating element to the movement element such that the luggage compartment flap fastened to the movement element is moved at least part of the way from an open position to a closed position. A luggage compartment and a vehicle having a closing aid of this type are also described.
IMPROVEMENTS IN HINGES
A hinge is provided with two elements pivotally connected together for relative rotational movement about a hinge axis. The hinge has a spring formed of bent wire. The spring is mounted on one of the elements and a mechanism causes it to apply a biassing force between the two elements over at least part of their relative rotational movement. The biassing force is transmitted via a finger on the spring. A spreader is arranged to fit over the finger for engagement with the other element. The spreader extends continuously over the finger and engages substantially the whole of the finger.
Door hinge having buffering function
Disclosed is a door hinge having a buffering function, including: a casing within which a damper is disposed in an axially movable manner, an end portion of a piston rod at the front end of the damper being fixedly connected to the casing; a hinge cup; a linking member A with a right end rotatably disposed inside the casing via a first rotating shaft and a left end rotatably connected to the hinge cup via a third rotating shaft; and a connecting member B with a right end rotatably disposed inside the casing via a second rotating shaft and a left end rotatably connected to the hinge cup via a fourth rotating shaft. The end portion at the right end of the linking member A or the connecting member B is disposed corresponding to the rear end of the damper.
Urging structure for lid
An urging structure for a lid includes a spring member having one spring end linked to a supply-port-forming member and the other spring end linked to a lid, and provided so as to be most elastically deformed at an intermediate position between a closed position and a maximum open position of the lid to urge the lid. The spring member is linked to the lid in such a way so as to vary a distance between the other spring end and a turning center of the lid, and the distance stays constant when the lid is in the closed position and in the intermediate position, increases in a process of moving from the intermediate position to the maximum open position, and becomes maximum when the lid is in the maximum open position.
Joining structure of two door members forming door for entrance opening and closing of aircraft lavatory unit
A joining structure for two door members forming a door member for entrance opening and closing of an aircraft lavatory unit is configured so that a pair of brackets provided on the pair of door members are joined swingably by a bracket joining shaft; and one ends of a pair of covers are joined to the pair of brackets by bracket cover joining shafts, and the other ends of the pair of covers are joined swingably by a cover joining shaft, at a section farther away from the lavatory than the bracket joining shaft.
Hinge
A hinge includes a leaf unit, first and second action units and an axle unit. The leaf unit includes first and second leaves that are rotatable relative to each other. The first leaf has a first barrel. The second leaf has a second barrel. The first and second action units are co-rotatable with the first leaf. The axle unit includes a fixing member mounted in the second barrel and co-rotatable with the second leaf, and first and second axle constituents respectively associated with the first and second action units and co-rotatable with the fixing member.
Torsion spring door closing apparatus
A torsion spring door closing apparatus for automatically closing doors with minimal hardware includes a torsion spring having a central coiled portion and a pair of arms. The coiled portion is configured to fit around a shaft of a hinge pin of a door hinge. The pair of arms comprises a hook arm and a catch arm each extending from the coiled portion. The pair of arms moves between a closed position and an open position and the torsion spring is biased towards the open position. When a door opens and squeezes the pair of arms towards the closed position they rebound to force the door to close again. A hook end of the hook is selectively engageable with a catch end of the catch arm to secure the torsion spring in the closed position and disengage the apparatus.
Vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component comprising a cover rotatably coupled to a base is disclosed. The component may comprise a mechanism comprising a feature on the base and a feature on the cover. When the cover is closed, the feature on the cover may axially align with the feature on the base. The feature on the base may disengage the feature on the cover when the cover opens and may engage the feature on the cover when the cover closes. The mechanism may comprise a cam mechanism comprising a cam surface and a follower. The mechanism may comprise a pivot joint. The pivot joint may comprise a set of projections to provide an axis of cover rotation. The pivot joint may comprise a projection and a ramp. The component may comprise a console, center stack/console, floor console, overhead console, instrument panel, door panel, etc.
