Window regulator
A window regulator includes a carrier plate holding a windowpane, a drum rotated by driving a motor that generates a driving force, a wire whose one end is connected to the carrier plate and whose other end is connected to the drum, a wire end fixed to an end on a side of the one end of the wire, and a housing member that is formed of a synthetic resin and houses the wire end. The housing member is configured to define a housing hole that is surrounded by a base in which an inserting hole to insert the wire is formed, and a sidewall that is formed extending from an outer edge of the base. The wire end is housed in the housing hole while being pressed against a protrusion that protrudes from the sidewall.
WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY WITH CARRIER PLATE
A window regulator assembly for moving a side window of a vehicle in an upward direction and in a downward direction along a guide rail, includes a carrier plate having a rail channel for movably engaging the guide rail. A first cable end pocket laterally offset from the rail channel is configured for receiving a cable end extending from a bottom end of the guide rail, and a separate second cable end pocket, likewise laterally offset from the rail channel, is configured for receiving a cable end extending from a top end of the guide rail. At a top end of the first cable end pocket in an installed position, the first cable end pocket is longitudinally delimited by a radial step having a depth of at most of a width of the first cable end pocket.
Pulley rivet for installation of pulleys for window regulator systems
A component for a window regulator system of a vehicle closure panel including: a rail having a rail aperture extending between a first side of the rail and a second side opposite the first side, the rail aperture having a retaining surface associated with the rail aperture; a pulley for mounting adjacent to the first side, the pulley having a pulley aperture with a pulley surface opposite the first side; a pulley rivet having a rivet body including a retaining lip for engaging with the pulley surface and a retainer portion for engaging with the retaining surface, the rivet body configured for receipt in both the pulley aperture and the rail aperture when installed, the rivet body having a hole for receiving a fastener for fastening the rail to a panel via the pulley rivet; wherein, when installed, the rivet body is positioned within the pulley aperture and within the rail aperture, such that engagement between the retaining lip and the pulley surface inhibits separation of the pulley from the rail while engagement of the retainer portion with the retaining surface inhibits separation of the pulley rivet from the rail aperture.
RAIL MODULE WITH CABLE CONDUITS FOR WINDOW REGULATOR SYSTEMS
An integrated module as a window regulator assembly including: a carrier panel for mounting to a frame of a vehicle closure panel; at least one rail on the carrier panel, the rail associated with at least one cable guide in conjunction with a regulator carriage, the regulator carriage for coupling to a window of the closure panel; a drive mechanism on the carrier panel, the drive mechanism for operating the regulator carriage along a track of the rail; a cable assembly coupling the regulator carriage to the drive mechanism via the cable guide, the cable assembly including a conduit connected at one end to the rail and connected at another end to the drive mechanism, the conduit containing a cable element slideably received within the conduit; wherein the cable element is unsheathed from the conduit where the cable element is in contact with the cable guide.
Carrier plate and object movement device
A carrier plate to which a moving object is attached and that includes a holding portion holding an end portion of a driving-force transmission member transmitting a driving force for moving the moving object is configured to include: a first surface facing a guide rail on which the carrier plate slides; a second surface placed on an opposite side of the first surface; and a side surface placed between the first surface and the second surface, the side surface including an opening portion into which the driving-force transmission member is inserted. Such a configuration can enhance the efficiency of the assembly work while suppressing an increase in size.
WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
It is provided a window regulator assembly of a motor vehicle, comprising: a carrier; a guiding device provided on the carrier for guiding a flexible traction means via which an adjusting force produced on an adjustment drive can be transmitted to a window pane to be adjusted; a flexible traction means guided on the guiding device on which at least one driver is fixed, via which the window pane to be adjusted can be connected with the flexible traction means, so that when a force is introduced into the flexible traction means, the driver together with a window pane attached thereto is adjusted by an adjustment drive along a longitudinally extended adjustment path defining an adjustment surface a socket for bearing a deflection element by means of which the flexible traction means can be deflected; and a deflection element pivotally mounted on the socket.
Single-rail window regulator assembly
A single-rail window regulator for moving a side window of a vehicle in an upward direction and in a downward direction includes a guide rail defining and a carrier plate having a central guide structure for movably engaging the guide rail, a first lateral extension extending to a first lateral side of the guide rail, and a second lateral extension extending to a second lateral side of the guide rail body opposite the first lateral side. The carrier plate has a first cable attachment pocket on the first lateral extension and a second cable attachment pocket on the second lateral extension. Accordingly, the two attachment pockets are arranged on opposite lateral sides. As one cable end pulls the carrier plate upward and the other cable end pulls the carrier plate downward, the arrangement causes torques in the same rotational direction, even when reversing the direction of movement.
Window regulator for a door assembly of a vehicle
A window regulator includes a guide and an elongated carrier attached to the guide. A drive cable is driven by an actuator to move the carrier relative to the guide. A support cable includes a first end that is attached to a forward edge of a window opening of a door structure. The support cable includes a second end that is attached to a lower end of the guide. A first direction control device is attached to and rotatably supported by the carrier, proximate to a forward edge of the window opening. A second direction control device is attached to and rotatably supported by the carrier, and is disposed rearward of the first direction control device, between the first direction control device and the guide. The support cable is engaged with and guided by the first direction control device and the second direction control device.
Sliding Window Mechanism I
This invention pertains to mechanisms for opening and closing sliding windows especially in homes and buildings. A sliding window comprises a pane which is installed in a sliding frame. The frame is sliding vertically or horizontally within a static outer frame which has two parallel guides that guide the sliding frame. There are three similar approaches for such a mechanism: a two cables mechanism, a single roller chain mechanism and a two roller chains mechanism. The two cable approach uses four pulleys and two flexible cables. The single roller chain approach employs two sprockets. The two roller chains approach uses four sprockets. The window can be operated manually or by using an electric motor. The window assembly includes two safety systems which protect persons from being caught by a closing window. The window assembly also includes a burglar alarm and does not require a latch for window locking.
