A carrier plate to which a moving object is attached and that includes a holding portion holding an end portion of a driving-force transmission member transmitting a driving force for moving the moving object is configured to include: a first surface facing a guide rail on which the carrier plate slides; a second surface placed on an opposite side of the first surface; and a side surface placed between the first surface and the second surface, the side surface including an opening portion into which the driving-force transmission member is inserted. Such a configuration can enhance the efficiency of the assembly work while suppressing an increase in size.

WINDOW LIFT OPERATED BY STRUCTURAL CABLES FOR VEHICLE DOORS

Structural cable window lifter for vehicle doors, specifically a double guide rail structural cable window lifter that incorporates additional functional components such as the attachment means for the inner door handle, such that in an assembled position on the structure of the vehicle door the structural cable window lifter and the decorative door panel are connected through said inner door handle. Said structural cable window lifter comprises a strong structure that supports and transmits the loads generated during the operation of the window lifter, and/or the interior handle of the door, on the door structure through the guide rails, which are the only components of the structural cable window lifter joined to said door structure.

Single-rail window regulator assembly

A single-rail window regulator for moving a side window of a vehicle in an upward direction and in a downward direction includes a guide rail defining and a carrier plate having a central guide structure for movably engaging the guide rail, a first lateral extension extending to a first lateral side of the guide rail, and a second lateral extension extending to a second lateral side of the guide rail body opposite the first lateral side. The carrier plate has a first cable attachment pocket on the first lateral extension and a second cable attachment pocket on the second lateral extension. Accordingly, the two attachment pockets are arranged on opposite lateral sides. As one cable end pulls the carrier plate upward and the other cable end pulls the carrier plate downward, the arrangement causes torques in the same rotational direction, even when reversing the direction of movement.

Sliding Window Mechanism I
20170254134 · 2017-09-07 ·

This invention pertains to mechanisms for opening and closing sliding windows especially in homes and buildings. A sliding window comprises a pane which is installed in a sliding frame. The frame is sliding vertically or horizontally within a static outer frame which has two parallel guides that guide the sliding frame. There are three similar approaches for such a mechanism: a two cables mechanism, a single roller chain mechanism and a two roller chains mechanism. The two cable approach uses four pulleys and two flexible cables. The single roller chain approach employs two sprockets. The two roller chains approach uses four sprockets. The window can be operated manually or by using an electric motor. The window assembly includes two safety systems which protect persons from being caught by a closing window. The window assembly also includes a burglar alarm and does not require a latch for window locking.

LIFTING DEVICE AND VEHICLE DOOR WITH SAID LIFTING DEVICE

A lifting device lifting and lowering a window glass of a door, the lifting device including a drive mechanism for lifting and lowering the window glass, a support plate supporting the drive mechanism, and a carrier attached to the support plate in a slidable manner, and lifted and lowered by the drive mechanism, wherein the support plate includes a through hole, and a stopper which is provided at an inner panel of the door and stops of the carrier is inserted through the through hole.

Motor vehicle window lifter

A motor vehicle window lifter is provided with a twistable or bendable guide rail on which a driver to be coupled with a window pane is shiftably mounted and which includes fastening points which are connectable with fastening receptacles of a carrier element. Between the fastening receptacles of the carrier element at least one supporting point is provided. When bracing the fastening points of the guide rail with the fastening receptacles of the carrier element, the guide rail supports on the supporting point and twisting of the initially straight guide rail with a specified degree of twisting and/or bending of the guide rail with a specified bending radius is effected.

Window regulator and method of providing articulating motion to a window in a vehicle door

A window regulator is provided for a window in a vehicle door. The window regulator includes a drive mechanism having a first cable and a second cable. The first cable is connected to the window at a first connection point and the second cable is connected to the window at a second connection point. The two cables are driven at different speeds so that the window is rotated with respect to the vehicle door panel as the window is displaced between a fully closed position and a fully opened position.

Window regulator for a frameless system

A window regulator, including: a first guide rail; a first cursor slidably mounted to the first guide rail; a second guide rail spaced from the first guide rail; a second cursor slidably mounted to the second guide rail; a housing that is not mounted to a lower end of the first guide rail or the second guide rail; a motor mounted to the housing and operably coupled to the first cursor and the second cursor such that operation of the motor will cause the first cursor to slide along the first guide rail and second cursor to slide along the second guide rail; a cable drum rotationally mounted to the housing, the cable drum being operably coupled to the motor and a first cable secured to the cable drum at one end and the first cursor at another end; a second cable secured to the cable drum at one end and the second cursor at another end; a third cable secured to the first cursor at one end and the second cursor at another end; a first cable sheath surrounding the first cable that extends from a first feature of the first guide rail to the housing; a cable tensioner associated with the first cable sheath; a second cable sheath surrounding the second cable that extends from the housing to a second feature of the second guide rail; and a third cable sheath surrounding the third cable that extends from the a second feature of the first guide rail to a first feature of the second guide rail, wherein the window regulator is configured for raising and lowering a window of a frameless door assembly of a vehicle.
