Robotic vehicle and a lid controller mechanism for a lid thereof
Method of operating a lid of a robotic vehicle. The lid is operable by a motor between an opened and a closed positions. When the lid is between the opened position and a first intermediary position, a first electric current having a first value is provided to the motor for exerting a first force on the lid. When the lid is between the first intermediary position and a second intermediary position, a second electric current, having a second value whose sign is opposite to a sign of the first value, is provided to the motor for exerting a second force on the lid. The second force is applied in an opposite direction of the first force. When the lid is between the second intermediary position and the closed position, a third electric current having a third value having a same sign than the first value is provided to the motor.
SELF-LEARNING POWER DOOR CYCLE AND COMPENSATION FOR REDUCED SEAL LOAD
A power closure member actuation system for moving a closure member of a vehicle between an open position and a closed position relative to a vehicle body. The system includes an actuator configured to move the closure member relative to the vehicle body. The system further includes a closure member feedback sensor for determining at least one of a position and a speed of the closure member. A controller is in communication with the closure member feedback sensor and the actuator. The controller is configured to control movement of the closure member by the actuator while sensing the speed of the closure member using the closure member feedback sensor. The controller is also configured to adjust the speed of the closure member moving toward the closed position to account for a seal load of at least one closure member seal varying over a life of the vehicle.

An assembly includes a drive device, a component to be displaced relative to a wall element for closing an opening of the wall element, and a guide device with which the component can be displaced relative to the wall element. A switch and/or a sensor system, preferably a metal detector, allows a partially open position of the component to be detected and/or allows the drive device to be activated, preferably based on a detection of the partially open position starting from a fully open position, and/or allows the drive device to be deactivated, preferably based on a detection of the partially open position starting from a closed position.
