A power-supply control system includes: a lock control unit that controls a door-lock device; and a travel control unit that controls a travel operating unit related to either driving the power of the vehicle, braking the vehicle, or steering the vehicle. A lock high-level control unit, in a state in which supply of electric power to the lock control unit, the travel operating unit, and the travel control unit is stopped, while the first trigger signal is not outputted from an operation unit, makes electric power not be supplied from a power supply to the lock control unit, the travel operating unit, and the travel control unit, and when the first trigger signal is outputted, starts to supply electric power from the power supply to the lock control unit and the door-lock device and makes the lock control unit execute control to unlock the door-lock device.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, MANAGEMENT DEVICE, AND TERMINAL DEVICE

In a communication system, a management device transmits a confirmation request signal requesting confirmation of a state of a terminal device to each of a plurality of terminal devices at the same timing all at once. Each of the terminal devices returns the notification information to the management device together with terminal identification information for identifying the terminal device in a case where there is notification information. The management device identifies the terminal device that has returned the notification information based on the terminal identification information in a case where the notification information is returned from the plurality of terminal devices at the same timing, and individually re-transmits the confirmation request signal to the identified terminal devices at different timings. The terminal device, which has received the re-transmitted confirmation request signal, re-returns the notification information to the management device together with the terminal identification information.

CLOSURE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

A closure system including a curtain configured to seal an opening, a wireless network having a plurality of channels, at least one transmitter coupled to the curtain and configured to communicate over the plurality of channels, and an operator operatively coupled to the curtain and configured to communicate over the plurality of channels, the operator and the at least one transmitter configured to communicate with each other over a selected one of the plurality of channels based upon communication interference detected on one or more channels.

MOTOR MODULE

A motor module includes: a motor; a driving unit; a control unit; a memory; and a communication unit. The control unit executes: receiving parameter information specialized for a vehicle-mounted device by the communication unit from a management module, and storing the parameter information in the memory; in a case where the parameter information is stored in the memory, driving the motor by the driving unit to operate the vehicle-mounted device so that the motor outputs a predetermined torque based on an operation signal input from an outside for operating the vehicle-mounted device and the parameter information; and in a case where the parameter information is not stored in the memory, driving the motor by the driving unit for a certain period of time and then stopping the motor to inch the vehicle-mounted device so that the motor outputs a maximum torque, based on the operation signal.

COMMUNICATION INTERFACE DEVICE FOR WIRELESS DOOR CONTROLLERS

In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a connection interface, a local area network (LAN) interface, a wide area network (WAN) interface, and a processor. The connection interface is to connect to a printed circuit board (PCB) of a door controller. The LAN interface is to communicate with a plurality of door sensors, wherein each one of the plurality door sensors is to monitor operation of a respective door of a plurality of doors. The WAN interface is to communicate with a remote server of a service provider. The processor is communicatively coupled to the connection interface, the LAN interface, and the WAN interface. The processor is to receive door data from the plurality of door sensors via the LAN interface, transmit the door data to the remote server for analysis via the WAN interface, receive a correction action from the remote server over the WAN interface in response to the door data, and execute the corrective action on a door of the plurality of doors via the LAN interface.

Barrier Operator Feature Enhancement

A barrier operator feature enhancement device is designed to provide one or more features found in modern barrier operator devices and to incorporate those features into a previously installed barrier operator system. To facilitate ease of use, the barrier operator feature enhancement device can communicate with a large variety of barrier operators. Such communication may be wireless or wired, depending on the communication protocol implemented by a particular previously installed barrier operator. To facilitate the ease of installation, the device is designed to configure itself to operate with the communication protocol of the previously installed barrier operator. Once configured to be able to communicate with the previously installed barrier operator, the feature enhancement device works with the barrier operator to provide one or more additional features to enhance the capabilities of the previously installed barrier operator.

Automated sliding window mechanism with air pressure sensor

An automated sliding window mechanism is disclosed. An automated sliding window mechanism includes a motor attached to a first component of a sliding window and configured to open and close the sliding window, a controller that controls the motor, and at least two air pressure sensors in communication with a processor. If the window is open, based on signals from the air pressure sensors, the processor determines whether a draft is flowing through the window. If the window is closed, based on signals from the air pressure sensor, the processor determines whether a draft would flow through the window if opened. The processor sends a signal to the controller to either open or close the window, depending on whether a user has elected to have a draft flow through the window. In a preferred embodiment, a system is provided with at least two automated windows.

AUTOMATIC VEHICLE WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
