Opening/closing control device

A boundary position, which determines the range of the positions of the window within which trap prevention control is disabled, is set according to the sum of a first amount of rotation and a second amount of rotation. The first amount of rotation approximates a change, in a reference amount of rotation, that corresponds to a change in a detected voltage from a reference voltage. The second amount of rotation is set to a value that is smaller than the difference between a specific amount of rotation at a stop and the reference amount of rotation and is larger than the amount of variations in the reference amount of rotation.

Open roof assembly for use in a vehicle and a method for operating same

An open roof assembly for use in a vehicle roof of a vehicle comprises a movably arranged closure member for closing an opening in the vehicle roof and a pinch detection module for detecting a pinch of an object between the closure member and an edge of the opening. The pinch detection module is operatively coupled to receive an input signal and is configured to detect the pinch based on said input signal and a threshold. The pinch detection module is configured to dynamically determine the threshold based on the input signal.

An automatic door system (1) comprises at least one door leaf (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) which can be moved by a drive apparatus (6). A control device (7) is designed to control the drive apparatus (6) in such a way that the latter moves the at least one door leaf (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d). A sensor device (8) comprises a first area scan camera (9a) which comprises an image sensor, the first area scan camera (9a) being designed to generate first image data from a detection area (11) within which the automatic door system (1) can be monitored. The control device (7) is designed to determine whether the at least one door leaf (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d) can be moved safely by means of a detailed analysis based on at least a portion of the first image data from the first area scan camera (9a) and at least one additional piece of information (12). The sensor device (8) comprises an information-generating device (13) which is separate from the first area scan camera (9a) and contributes to the generation of the at least one piece of additional information (12).

PINCHING DETECTION DEVICE

This pinching detection device of a power window is provided with: a sensor electrode provided in a windowpane; a position-detecting electrode that opposes the sensor electrode; and a control unit. The size of an opposing surface area between the sensor electrode and the position-detecting electrode increases as the windowpane is raised. The control unit detects pinching of foreign matter on the basis of a change in capacitance in the sensor electrode and detects a position in the windowpane on the basis of the change in capacitance.

Method for detecting an obstacle in an access device

A method for state-based maintenance of an access device of a vehicle, in particular of a public transport vehicle, wherein the access device includes a moveable element and an electric drive for moving the moveable element and is attached to the vehicle. The drive is controlled with control signals, wherein actual state signals for describing the state are generated based on a detected state of the access device. The control signals are applied to a physical simulation model for computationally simulating the access device and determining expected target state signals and wherein based on a comparison between the actual state signals and associated target state signals, a maintenance state of the access device is determined. The simulation model is adjusted based on the comparison between the actual state signals and the associated target state signals.

Pinch detection system

An open-roof assembly for a vehicle roof comprises a moveably arranged closure member, a drive assembly for moving the closure member and a control unit operatively coupled to the drive assembly. The control unit comprises a pinch detection unit for detecting a pinch of the closure member with an object. The pinch detection unit comprises a first pinch detection system and a second pinch detection system. The first pinch detection system is configured to detect a pinch with a soft object and the second pinch detection system is configured to detect a pinch with a hard object. The pinch detection unit is configured to adapt a configuration setting of the first pinch detection system upon detection of a pinch with a hard object by the second pinch detection unit to configure the first pinch detection system to detect a pinch with said hard object.

A method for detecting a pinching situation when moving an adjustable component for closing an opening by means of an electric motor in a vehicle comprises the following steps: providing a trigger threshold for a closing force exerted by the electric motor on the component or a physical variable on which it is based, with which the electric motor is operated, for at least one movement position of the component within a travel path available to it for the movement; moving the component into the movement position; determining a current value of the closing force or of the physical variable on which it is based for the at least one movement position; comparing the current value and the trigger threshold; and outputting a trigger signal which indicates the pinching situation dependent from the result of the comparison.
