ENERGY SAVING SECURITY COMPOSITE WINDOW
An energy-saving security composite window comprising a peripheral side frame and glass installed on the side frame, in which the side frame is of composite structure. A rectangular high strength metal pipe is located centrally to serve as a main body of the side frame and a cavity of the rectangular high-strength metal pipe is filled with a filling material. A plurality of non-metal profiles are respectively fixed on an outer surface of the rectangular high-strength metal pipe, and an installation groove for installing glass is formed between the rectangular high strength metal pipe and the non-metal profile. An external profile is a metal alloy material, a wooden material, a plastic material, or a glass material fixed on an outer surface of the non-metal profile. The performances of external windows of buildings, such as heat insulation, heat preservation, energy saving, sound insulation, and wind pressure resistance, is improved.
Elongate profiled frame element
The present invention is directed to a construction profile for a window or door frame, the profile manufactured in a plastics material and comprising: a main body extending in a longitudinal direction X; one fixed and one removable clamping bracket, both clamping brackets protruding from said main body in direction Y perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X, and extending parallel to one another and at a distance of one another in the longitudinal direction X; a pane receiving zone defined by, on the one hand, said clamping brackets and, on the other hand, a surface of said main body, the receiving zone configured to receive a side edge of a pane (the pane extending in the X-Y plane) to be clamped between said clamping brackets, the fixed clamping bracket comprising a hollow body having at least two side walls, one facing the pane receiving zone and one facing away the pane receiving zone and defining an upper free end portion (configured to abut a pane received in the pane receiving zone) and a base portion joining the upper free end portion to the main body, characterized in that the distance between said side walls of the fixed clamping bracket progressively widens at its base portion from the upper portion towards the main body. Further, the present invention is also directed to a window or door comprising a frame with at least one construction profile as defined above, the window or door having a Resistance Class RC 2 N according to the DIN V ENV 1627/2011 standard.
Glazing system for high wind area
A glazing system that facilitates protecting windows from damage caused by high winds. The glazing system, for use with windows in doors, transoms, and in windows adjacent to doorways is an extruded polymeric frame that surrounds and supports and seals the window in place. The frame includes a stacked screw boss accessible from the exterior after removing a lineal cap. The screw boss receives screws use to hold a panel in place over the window during high winds to protect the window and which panel may be easily and quickly removed when the high winds pass. The interior side of the frame also has a screw path usable for attaching brackets for blinds to the back of the frame.
HIGH SPEED AND NO EXCESS WELD FLASH VINYL WELDER
An apparatus for manufacturing rectangular frames of plastic material includes an apparatus frame and welding heads. A material clamp cooperates with an associated frame member to hold the associated frame member in a desired location during a frame assembly operation. A heat plate is movably attached to each welding head. The heat plate can be selectively positioned to an operating position. The material clamp positions the associated frame member in close proximity to the heat plate to heat a set of ends of the associated frame member utilizing only radiation and convection of heat developed by the heat plate. The plurality of welding heads exert pressure on adjoining associated frame members after the heat plate is removed from the operating position in order to weld the adjoining associated frame members together to form a rectangular frame.
FENESTRATION ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING COMPOSITE FRAME CORES AND METHODS FOR SAME
A fenestration assembly includes a glazing unit includes a pane spacer between exterior and interior panes proximate glazing unit edges. A fenestration frame is coupled around the glazing unit and includes a frame core extending around the glazing unit. The frame core includes a unitary core wall including a composite material that is hollow and extends continuously from a core interior face to a core exterior face. A metal glazing cap is coupled with the frame core. The metal glazing cap having a cap end indirectly engaged with the glazing unit along the interior pane, and the cap end is remote from the pane spacer. Each of the core exterior face, the pane spacer and the metal glazing cap are thermally isolated from each other with the frame core including the unitary core wall.
PROFILE FOR WINDOW, DOOR, FACADE AND CLADDING ELEMENTS
A profile for window, door, facade or cladding elements is disclosed, which comprises a profile body (2) made from thermoplastic material and extending in a longitudinal direction (z) with an essentially constant cross-section (x-y) along the longitudinal direction (z) and having at least one outer surface (2a), and a inorganic containing layer (4) deposited on at least part of the at least one outer surface (2a), wherein the thermoplastic material comprises at least one thermoplastic selected from the group containing polyamide, polyethylene, polybutylene terephthalate, acrylonitrile styrene acrylate, wherein the inorganic containing layer (4) is deposited directly on the profile body (2) using a cold spray technology, and wherein the inorganic containing layer (4) has a thickness in the range from 30 m to 450 m.

Adaptable fenestration frame members and methods
Adaptable fenestration frame members, fenestration units using the frame members, and methods of adapting the fenestration frame members. The adaptable fenestration frame members provide a construction that is adaptable for use in both pocket and non-pocket installations by including an adaptation channel forming an outside corner along one edge of the fenestration frame member. Removal of the outside corner converts that portion of the frame member from an outside corner to an inside corner, thus adapting the frame member for use in a pocket installation.
