According to some embodiments, a multi-panel door system includes a fixed panel and an active panel. Both panels are secured to the astragal of the door frame by securement members driven into and through hinges connected to the active panel, through the astragal, and into the fixed panel. The securement members are driven through a middle portion of the astragal stem in order to align the fixed and active panels in a recessed position with respect to the door frame. The fixed panel and the active panel are coplanar. Hinge support plates are placed between the hinges and the astragal and communicate forces transmitted through the securement members into deeper portions of the astragal.

Post for two section folding closure and folding closure using same

A female locking post for the free end of a folding closure section, with an inner side for connecting the post to the free end, and an outer side opposite the inner side. Two opposed connecting walls connect the inner and outer sides together. An interior wall, spaced from both the inner and outer sides, extends between the connecting walls. A post opening, preferably extending the length of the post, is provided in the outer side between the connecting walls providing access to the interior wall. An operator with a lock bolt is movably mounted on the interior wall, the operator movable along the interior wall between an unlocked position where the lock bolt is within the post and a locked position where the lock bolt projects from an end of the post. A folding closure incorporating the female post is also described.

LIQUID CONTAINMENT DOOR WITH CONTINUOUS GASKET

A pedestrian door system includes a door frame comprising a frame strike side, a frame hinge side, and a frame sealing surface that extends up each of the frame strike and frame hinge sides. A threshold extends between the frame strike and frame hinge sides and includes a base secured to a floor surface and a threshold sealing surface. A door panel includes a panel bottom side, a panel strike side, a panel hinge side, and a continuous gasket extending continuously along the panel bottom side and up each of the panel strike and panel hinge sides. A door hinge couples the panel hinge side to the frame hinge side and facilitates hinged movement of the door panel between an open position and a closed position in which the gasket seals against the frame sealing surface and the threshold sealing surface in a liquid-tight manner.
