10533364 · 2020-01-14 · ·

A supplemental window apparatus includes a foot and a first constraint element attached to the foot. The foot and the first constraint element are configured to be detachably coupled to a window pane of an existing window through a mating constraint element. A spacer is coupled to the foot and is configured to extend at least partially in a direction perpendicular to the window pane when installed on the existing window. A substantially non porous sheet is coupled to the spacer and has a sheet area substantially similar to a window pane area defined by the interior surfaces of the first window element holding the window pane. The spacer substantially defines a gap between the sheet and the window pane when installed on the existing window. The foot extends outward from the spacer toward the interior surfaces of the first window element.

DOCK DOOR SCREEN ASSEMBLY

A screen door assembly for an opening of loading dock includes a frame having first and second vertical members joined together by first and second horizontal members. The screen door assembly further includes at least one stay element extending along a lateral axis and secured at each end to the respective vertical member. The screen door assembly further includes a screen material, at least one of a top edge or bottom edge of the screen material being secured to the stay element. The screen door assembly is configured for use in the longitudinal clearance gap of a main door guide track, between the main door guide track and an inside wall of the loading dock. The screen door operates independent of the main door, such that both doors can be closed at the same time.

Smart home system with integration of smart windows

Described herein are systems, methods, devices, and other techniques for implementing smart windows, smart home systems that include smart windows, and user devices and applications for control thereof. A smart window, or photovoltaic window, may include a photovoltaic configured to generate electrical power from incident light onto the photovoltaic window, store the electrical power, and send the electrical power to an electronics package or various electrical loads including a wireless communication system, sensors, or window functions. The photovoltaic window may communicate with various smart home system devices such as hub devices and user devices, which may include the reception of control data at the photovoltaic window and the transmission of sensor data captured by the window sensors.

Window setting block

A window frame assembly includes a frame; a setting block including a block body secured to the frame; and a block lip extending outwards from the block body; a glazing bead secured to the frame and the setting block, a bead rib of the glazing bead positioned between the block lip and the frame, the glazing bead and the frame defining a glazing channel; and a lite defining a first edge, the first edge of the lite inserted into the glazing channel.

Self-adjusting damper based linear alignment system

A steam sterilizer having a door movable relative to an opening between a first open position and a second closed position. A plurality of spaced-apart roller assemblies are aligned along edges of the door to align the door relative to the opening as the door moves between the open and closed position. Each of the roller assemblies are comprised of a cylindrical roller having an outer annual recess extending along the periphery thereof. The recess is dimensioned to receive a lateral edge of the door. The roller is mounted on a shaft and is movable against a biasing force axially along the axis of the shaft.

WINDOW SECURITY DEVICE

A window security device includes a pull handle, the pull handle defining a tongue slot extending through the pull handle from a top paddle surface to a bottom paddle surface; and a locking bar slidably attached to the pull handle, a locking bar body of the locking bar positioned adjacent to the bottom paddle surface, a tongue of the locking bar extending through the tongue slot.
