Sliding door
A sliding door horizontally displaceable between two building wall elements includes a door leaf support frame with an attached door leaf, whereby a distance, perpendicular to a displacement direction of the support frame, between the door leaf and the support frame is changeable between an open position of the door leaf between the wall elements and a closed position of the door leaf in a door opening of one of the wall elements with outer surfaces of the door leaf and wall in alignment. A control element is movable in the displacement direction relative to the support frame and cooperates with a closing edge of the opening to increase and decrease the distance between the door leaf and the door leaf support frame during the closing and opening respectively in a region adjacent the closing edge.
Sliding window
A device for opening and closing a movable window of a motor vehicle, the movable window being movable relative to a fixed panel, from a closed position in which the movable window is positioned flush with the fixed panel, to an open position in which the movable window is moved parallel to the fixed panel. The device includes an assembly controlled from a handle mechanism supported by an edge of a frame secured to the movable window, such that starting from the closed position, actuating the handle a first time releases locking of the movable window then, secondly, brings the movable window out of its closed position, an edge of the window corresponding to the edge of the frame being moved relative to the fixed panel, to the position allowing sliding of the movable window.
Energy efficient fenestration assembly
A fenestration assembly comprising a sliding glass assembly that slides between a fully closed position and a fully open position in which the sliding glass assembly is received into a pocket of the fenestration assembly. The pocket is covered on at least one side with insulation. The fenestration assembly may have two sliding glass assemblies. The fenestration assembly may be used in an energy efficient building system.
Improved Sliding Door
An improved sliding door assembly is provided to be installed adjacent to a doorway having a split jamb. The door leaf is supported on a door carrier that extends between a top edge and a bottom edge of a frame, while the frame has at least one track configured to guide the door carrier and a rotatable tie rod mounted to the door carrier extending 5 between the top edge and the bottom edge of the frame and having a pinion gear at each end to engage with a rack at the top edge and bottom edge respectively such that engagement of the pinion gears synchronises the motion of the door carrier.
SUPPORT FRAME FOR SLIDING DOOR SYSTEMS
The present invention provides a frame (10) for a sliding door which sits within a pocket, wherein the frame comprises of rigid vertical posts (20), which have channels (24) which contain a beam (22) for strengthening of the posts and allowing the fastening of plasterboard or other such wall panels to the vertical posts (20).
Building wall module with automatic doors for users and postal delivery
A building wall module for partitioning a first region from a second region has a frame structure with inner and outer wall panels and lateral fastening devices for connecting the building wall module to a building. In addition, a sliding door system and a secondary door system are integrated in the frame structure, wherein the secondary door system is arranged separated from the sliding door system and can be controlled separately from the control device of the sliding door system. An electrical interface device connects the building wall module to a building system of a building.
SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM
The invention relates to devices, systems and methods for top-mounting and sliding doors. Specifically, the invention provides hardware for pocket doors that can be assembled and disassembled without damaging finish surfaces of the wall pocket.
Sliding door
A sliding door includes a bar that is movable in the closing and opening direction of a door leaf the sliding door. When the sliding door is in a closed state, the door separates a first space from a second space. A door frame in which the door is mounted has a bar catch, wherein the bar engages in the bar catch when the door leaf is in the closed state. The engagement can be released by movement of the door leaf, and therefore movement of the bar, in the direction of the normal of the door leaf plane.
Sliding door system for installing into a building wall, and method for servicing a sliding door system
A sliding door system includes a sliding door having a first door leaf, a second door leaf and a pivoting mechanism, and a housing for installing into a building wall. The sliding door mounted in the housing is displaceable beyond opposed first and second door openings of the housing. The pivoting mechanism converts a displacement movement of the sliding door into a pivoting movement of the first and second door leaves so that the first and second door leaves expose the first and second door openings respectively in a first position of the sliding door and close the openings in a second position of the sliding door. Deactivating the pivoting mechanism allows the sliding door to be moved beyond the door openings into a third position to service a component of the sliding door and/or to remove the sliding door the first and/or second door opening.
Reversible surface-mounted sliding security gate
The invention relates to a sliding security gate that can be surface mounted to a wall or door trim. These surface-mounted sliding security gates can be installed across any doorway opening of one's home for the protection of babies/toddlers, pets, and disabled elderly. On one hand, the Reversible Surface-Mounted Sliding Security Gate can be used as a dual functioned component that can be opened from either the left-hand or right-hand side of any wall or door trim; on the other hand, the Reversible Surface-Mounted Sliding Security Gate can become reversible and secured to the wall/door trim at the bottom of the bracket to secure the gate into place in order to provide safety and security to the vulnerable population listed above. In addition, this sliding security gate also has an alarm attached to the end of the security gate so that when it opens, the alarm sounds.
