Movable partition systems and related methods
A movable partition system includes a movable partition, a floating jamb attached to an end of the movable partition and located within a pocket configured to retain the movable partition when in a retracted position, at least two base plates attached to the floating jamb, and at least two jamb stops attached to opposing interior walls of the pocket. Each of the at least two jamb stops are configured to engage a respective base plate of the floating jamb, wherein the floating jamb, the at least two base plates, and the at least two jamb stops are configured such that disengaging the floating jamb from a secure position within the pocket when the movable partition is in an extended position requires disengaging one of the at least two jamb stops from the respective base plate on each side of the movable partition. Methods of providing a security barrier are disclosed.
ADJUSTABLE DOOR FRAME MOUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A kit for installing a pocket door system in a doorway, comprising: a frame header and track assembly installed horizontally at an uppermost end of a rough opening in a wall; and a plurality of vertical support structures fixed to the frame header and track assembly and defining a pocket opening in the wall for receiving a sliding door. Each of the plurality of vertical support structures includes a first vertical member, one or more second vertical member, and a component configured to connect the one or more second vertical members to the first vertical member in order to achieve a selected door height.
METHOD FOR OBTAINING A VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL PROFILED ELEMENT FOR THE INTERCONNECTION OF PLASTERBOARD PANELS TO WALLS AND ELEMENT OBTAINED WITH SUCH METHOD
A method for obtaining a vertical or horizontal profiled element for the interconnection of plasterboard panels to walls, in particular to plasterboard walls that can be applied to in-wall frames for retractable sliding doors or for the provision of drywall dividing walls.
The method entails a continuous machining of a metallic lamina by punching or drawing or rolling obtained by using two rollers, one acting as a die and the other acting as a punch, so as to obtain on the metallic lamina a plurality of holes, which are uniformly distributed according to a series of mutually parallel rows.
Roller guide for pocket doors
A roller guide (1) for a pocket door comprising a roller (16) supported by two angled support arms (10, 13) extending from a base plate (2). The roller guide may be mounted adjacent to a pocket door so the roller makes contact with a surface of the pocket door and prevents the pocket door from scraping against an opening of a wall in which the pocket door is slideably mounted.
PASSENGER SEATING WITH MULTI-MODE PRIVACY DOOR
Passenger seating comprises rows of seats with a door assembly at the end of each row for improving a seat occupant's privacy. The door assembly includes a door that slides into and out of a base in a primary mode of operation, and which supports a secondary mode of opening. The secondary mode may involve pivoting on hinges. A latch is provided to prevent the door from being opened routinely in the secondary mode. The door assembly is also capable of retracting with respect to the adjacent seat to improve access.
Sliding-door closer set
Provided is a sliding door closer set which makes it possible to adjust the position of a trigger arranged inside a door pocket from outside of the door pocket. A sliding door closer set comprises a rail (4), a closer (6) hanging a sliding door (1) and being capable of moving along the rail (4), and a trigger (8) arranged inside the door pocket (2), wherein the sliding door (1) is pulled into the door pocket (2) as a result of engagement between the trigger (8) and the closer (6), which has moved to a predetermined position on the rail (4). The trigger (8) arranged inside the door pocket (2) is integrally connected to a trigger integrated plate (10). The trigger integrated plate (10) is mounted to the rail (4) outside the door pocket (2).
Multi-panel privacy screen assembly
A multi-panel privacy screen assembly adapted to be deployed between laterally-adjacent passenger seats. The assembly includes an overhead beam having a plurality of tracks, a plurality of hanging panels, a plurality of coupling members suspending each of the plurality of hanging panels from the overhead beam, each coupling member coupled to one of the plurality of hanging panels, to one of a plurality of driven cables, and having rollers rollable along at least one of the plurality of tracks, and a drive mechanism including an intermittent gear assembly operable for driving the plurality of driven cables to move the plurality of hanging panels along at least one of the plurality of tracks according to predetermined deployment sequence.
POCKET DOOR FRAME
A pocket door frame includes a stud having a first section, a second section, and a third section. The first section is perpendicular to the second section, and the third section is perpendicular to the second section. The first section includes a first opening. The stud also includes a second opening located at least partially in the second section and at least partially in the third section. The second opening is at least partially aligned with the first opening so as to provide access to the first opening through the second opening.
Sliding door system
A sliding door system with a door includes a horizontally elongated member having a mounting portion with which it is mounted to a support structure, and a horizontally elongated track extending downwardly therefrom. The horizontally elongated track includes a horizontally elongated upper portion having a width, and a horizontally elongated protuberance below the upper portion having a width greater than the width of the upper portion. At least one sliding element is mounted to the top of the door and has a channel corresponding to the protuberance, and in which part of the elongated protuberance is disposed such that the sliding element is retained by and slidable on the protuberance. In some embodiments, a vertically extending rod is concealed between the front and back walls of the door and can be moved vertically in and out of an aperture in the protuberance to lock and unlock the door.
Slide opening door assembly
A pocket slide opening door assembly including a door leaf having a top edge, a door frame assembly, and a sliding assembly for slideable translation of the door leaf in relation to the door frame assembly between a closed position and an open position, wherein the assembly is provided in a plurality of parts for assembly in situ, including in a first part the door leaf, in a second part the door frame assembly with bay or pocket configured to receive the door leaf, or in second and third parts the door frame assembly and separate bay or pocket configured to receive the door leaf, and wherein the door assembly is disposed and configured in manner which prevents ligature about the door leaf top edge and in manner which prevents access to the sliding assembly for tamper purpose or for ligature purpose.
