PROFILE FOR A WINDOW AND/OR DOOR PART WITH METAL LAYER WITH FIBER LAYER
An extrusion profile, such as a mono- or co-extrusion profile, for a door and/or window part, may include a fiber layer laminated at least partially to an outer side of the profile using an adhesive.
UNITIZING GASKET AND METHODS OF USE
A gasket for use in holding side members in proper position during assembly and use is provided. The gasket may be used with frameless door rail systems such as those used to secure heavy glass doors in residential and commercial buildings. The gasket holds the door rail clamping members in proper position during insertion into the door rail system, and in proper position during the insertion of the door or panel to be held therebetween. The gasket also provides a cushioned interface and a weather seal between the clamping members and the associated door or panel and eliminates the need for bonding of the gasket to the clamping mechanism(s).
Fenestration system with shimming seal
Example aspects of a fenestration system and a method for insulating a fenestration system are disclosed. The fenestration system can comprise a frame comprising a first frame side, the first frame side comprising an interior wall, the interior wall defining a sealing slot; and a seal comprising a connector portion engaging the sealing slot and an extension portion extending from the connector portion.
PROFILED COMPONENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FRAMES
The profiled component (1) for the production of frames comprises: a profiled element (2) comprising a longitudinal channel (3) adapted to at least partly contain a substantially sheet-shaped panel (4) and to surround at least partly, the longitudinal channel (3) defining a coupling plane (5) for the insertion of the panel (4) inside the profiled element (2); two seal elements (6) adapted to hermetically seal the longitudinal channel (3), associated with the profiled element (2) by means of connection means (7) and comprising a first corner (8) adapted to hermetically adhere onto the panel (4);
wherein the seal element (6) comprises a lever edge (28) which is shaped to come into contact with the panel (4) during the insertion of the panel (4) inside the longitudinal channel (3) to displace the seal element (6) between: a home configuration, wherein the panel (4) is outside the longitudinal channel (3) and the first corner (8) is moved away from the coupling plane (5); and a coupling configuration, wherein the panel (4) is inside the longitudinal channel (3) and the first corner (8) is approached to the coupling plane (5) and pressed to adhere hermetically to the panel (4).
Door rail system and method
A rail system to support a door or other types of panels is disclosed. The doors and/or panels may include frameless glass panes. The rail system may include a longitudinal channel into which the bottom of the door may be received and secured. The system may include a clamping assembly that may provide clamping forces onto the opposing lateral surfaces of the door within the longitudinal channel to secure it therein. The clamping assembly may be controlled by a controlling assembly in combination with the housing to provide inward forces to the clamping members at two or more interfaces between the housing and the clamping assembly on each opposing side of the panel. In this way, the clamping forces applied to the panel by the clamping assembly are uniformly distributed across the vertical height of the clamping assembly. The rail system also includes a unitizing gasket configured to hold the elements of the clamping assembly in place during the system's assembly and use.
INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF GLASS FIXING GASKET AND WINDOW GLASS PANEL FIXING BRACKET OF FIXED WINDOW IN SLIDING WINDOW SYSTEM COMPRISING SEGMENTED WINDOW FRAME
The present invention relates to an installation structure of a glass fixing gasket and a window glass panel fixing bracket, which fixes a window glass panel of a fixed window included in a sliding window system which comprises a segmented window frame and, more specifically, to an installation structure of a glass fixing gasket and a window glass panel fixing bracket, wherein the glass fixing gasket and the window glass panel fixing bracket are installed between a window frame portion which supports three sides (an upper surface, a lower surface, and one external side surface that is not a middle bar side surface) of a fixed window included in a sliding window and a window glass panel provided as a double-pane, in order to provide a sealing function for preventing ventilation and a function of stably fixing the window glass panel against high wind pressure (wind pressure resistance), and moreover, to ensure maximum heat insulation performance.
Frame system
A window and door frame system comprising members that fit together to enable a wide variety of window and door frame configurations and sizes to be constructed. The system comprises interlocking components that can be arranged in a variety of spacing combinations to enable building of frames in different configurations with a small set of components.
Door rail system
An improved door rail system for holding a panel, such as a glass panel, is presented. The door rail system includes a core rail and clamping rails having a wedging geometry so that when the clamping rails are actuated with respect to the core rail, clamping force is applied to the glass panel to secure the panel within the core rail. The improved door rail system accommodates panels of varying thickness, features the use of modular side covers and incorporates a door to door jamb adjustment device allowing for angular adjustments.
PROJECTING FENESTRATION ASSEMBLY AND METHODS FOR SAME
A projecting fenestration assembly includes a window shell having a plurality of component translucent panels. The window shell includes a shell frame having shell edges and a shell base. The plurality of component translucent panels are seated within the shell frame and surround a light cavity. A carriage frame is coupled with the window shell and supports the window shell. The carriage frame includes one or more carriage struts and a carriage tray extending from the one or more carriage struts to a tray end. The one or more carriage struts are coupled along the shell edges of the window shell. The carriage tray is coupled along the shell base.
Compression gasket for sealing a window in a window frame
Embodiments described herein may be directed to the functional application and method of use of the compression gasket for sealing a window installed in a window frame. In accordance with the present disclosure, a compression gasket may comprise soft rubber portion that applies pressure against a window surface. The soft rubber portion may compress, causing a rigid plastic portion that to bow outwardly and engage inner surfaces of the window frame. The bowing out of the rigid plastic portion, which may include a leaf spring, may secure the compression gasket to the window frame. The compression gasket may be designed to stop water leakage that may occur between the window and the window frame.
