CONTRAST AGENT INJECTION DEVICE AND INJECTION LINE KIT
Provided is a contrast medium injection system that allows a connector of a tube connected to a patient to be reliably locked and easily unlocked with a small force and kept clean in normal use.
The system includes a detachably attachable injection line kit, at least one fluid injection flow path and a first connector provided on a downstream end of the flow path. The kit includes at least one patient connection flow path and a second connector that is provided on an upstream end of the patient connection flow path and detachably attachable to and engageable with the first connector. The contrast medium injection system body has a first set position where the kit is set and a second set position where the first and second connectors are engaged more deeply than in the first set position.
Medical connector
A medical connector that allows ventilation of vapor used in vapor sterilization and has an internal flow route that is tightly closable without using any separate clamping device. A medical connector includes a body having an internal flow route connected to an other flow route, proximal portions included in the body and having respective one-side connection ports at which the internal flow route is connectable to the one flow route, a distal portion having an other-side connection port at which the internal flow route is connectable to the other flow route, one-side lid portion, and an other-side lid portion whose state is switchable between a closing state and a ventilating state in which the other-side lid portion covers the other-side connection port such that ventilation is allowed.
Methods and apparatus for disinfecting and reflux prevention flush syringe assembly
Embodiments of the invention are directed to flush syringe assemblies comprising an integrated contamination-prevention device integrated with device connector flushing positioned so that the practitioner cannot forget to apply disinfectant. The flush syringe assemblies comprise a barrel with an elongate plunger rod disposed therein and a cap comprising a passageway. The plunger rod includes a stopper of which at least a portion can be embedded in the passageway of the cap to form a plug in the cap. Methods of flushing a vascular access device (VAD) while providing a flush syringe assembly described herein are also disclosed.
Luer connector
A slip luer assembly includes a hub member and a latch member coupled to the hub member. The hub member includes an outer hub surface, an inner hub surface and a window surface. The window surface defines a window extending from the outer hub surface to the inner hub surface. The latch member includes at least one blade. The latch member is configured to be actuated between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the at least one blade is not positioned within the window of the hub member. In the second position, the at least one blade is positioned at least partially within the window of the hub member.
Luer to luer tissue morselizer
A morselizer has a first end section with an axially and radially hollow luer fitting, a second end section with an axially and radially hollow luer fitting, a housing juxtaposed therebetween, a channel extending axially between the first end section and the second end section and through the housing providing an axial liquid pathway therein, and at least one blade disposed within the housing. Each end of the morselizer is attachable to a structure with a complimentarily sized luer fitting. In an embodiment, the morselizer facilitates atraumatic resizing of material through axial liquid transfer, by transferring material from a first structure attached to the first end section, thence through the channel, where material is resized by the blade, and through the second end section to a second structure attached to the second end section. The resized material may be suitable for injection, such as through a fine needle.
INTRODUCER WITH SALINE ANTECHAMBER
An introducer assembly is adapted for deploying a medical device. The introducer assembly includes an introducer body that is adapted to accommodate a volume of blood therein. An antechamber is coupled with the introducer body. A first hemostasis valve is disposed proximal of the antechamber and fluidly couples the introducer body with the antechamber. A second hemostasis valve is disposed distal of the antechamber and is adapted to allow the medical device to pass therethrough.
FLUID DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
There is disclosed a fluid distribution system for distributing fluid from a single source to a plurality of downstream receptacles. The system has a distribution manifold with a single inlet and a plurality of outlets arrayed around a circumferential outer periphery. The outlets may be directed to the different receptacles which each have their own vent filter, or each receptacle connects back to the distribution manifold for common venting.
CONNECTOR AND MEDICAL DEVICE SET
A connector includes: a male connector portion; a first female connector portion; and a second female connector portion. The connector defines a flow path therein. The male connector portion is shaped to be connectable to a medical device female connector portion that is equal in shape to the first female connector portion. The male connector portion is shaped to not be connectable to a medical device female connector portion that is equal in shape to the second female connector portion.
Inline pump with rear attachable syringe
Inline pumps with rear attachable syringes are disclosed. The pump and the syringe are each designed so that the pump syringe system may be easily coupled and decoupled in the field. An end mount block on the pump has a slot shaped to accept a similarly shaped plunger button and plunger rod on the syringe. A user aligns the plunger button of the syringe next to the slot on the mount block of the pump, and slides the plunger button and rod into the inner cavity of the pump. Both the pump and the syringe have threaded couplers which securely couple the pump to the syringe by rotating the couplers with respect to each other.
