The assembling of the insulating glazing subassembly includes successive steps wherein: the four edges of the central glass sheet are inserted into the grooves of the four profiles; the ends of the profiles are assembled by welding at each corner of the spacer frame without an alignment bracket, using the edges of the central glass sheet inserted in the grooves of the profiles as a frame of reference for guiding the profiles at each corner of the spacer frame into a configuration where their end faces are aligned by superposition in one and the same plane.

INSULATING GLASS UNIT FOR A REFRIGERATION UNIT

An insulating glass unit suitable for a refrigeration unit is presented. The insulating glass unit includes a first pane, a second pane spaced at a distance from the first pane, a peripheral spacer frame between the first pane and the second pane, and an inner interpane space. According to one aspect, the spacer frame includes four hollow-profile polymeric spacers, which are secured between the first pane and the second pane along one of the four sides of the insulating glass. According to another aspect, the two first hollow-profile polymeric spacers are arranged along two opposing first sides of the insulating glass unit and the two second hollow-profile polymeric spacers are arranged along two opposing second sides of the insulating glass unit. According to yet another aspect, the first polymeric hollow-profile spacers contain 5% to 50% and the second polymeric hollow-profile spacers contain 0% to 0.5% reinforcement fibers.

A spacer profile adapted to be used in a spacer frame of an insulating glass unit includes a hollow profile body made of a first synthetic material and a chamber for accommodating hydroscopic material, the hollow profile body having an inner wall that is, in an assembled state of the insulating glass unit, directed to the intervening space between panes of the insulating glass unit, an outer wall on the opposite side of the inner wall, a first side wall and a second side wall on the opposite side to the first side wall, the walls being connected to form the chamber, and a diffusion barrier portion made of a second synthetic material with sheet silicates and being formed as at least a part of the outer wall.

The side walls, the inner wall, and the outer wall surround a hollow chamber. According to one aspect, the polymeric main body has a glass fiber content of 0 wt.-% to 40 wt.-%, to which 0.5 wt.-% to 1.5 wt.-% of a foaming agent is added to form hollow spaces that provide a weight reduction of the polymeric main body of 10 wt.-% to 20 wt.-%.

A method for producing a triple insulating glazing unit is presented. According to the method, one pane is inserted into a groove of a spacer that is peripherally shaped to form a spacer frame to enframe the pane. A first pane and a second pane are connected to corresponding contact surfaces of the spacer frame by way of an upper edge and lateral edges of the first and second panes. Lower edges of the first and second panes are bent outward. Formed interpane spaces are filled from below with a protective gas, and the arrangement of the panes and the spacer frame is sealed and pressed together.
