Foam rubber molded product
A foam rubber molded produce obtained by molding a rubber composition containing 100 parts by mass of ethylene--olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer, 4 to 30 parts by mass of amorphous 4-methyl-1-pentene copolymer, 2 to 8 parts by mass of blowing agent, and a sulfur-based vulcanizing agent, and having a Mooney viscosity after kneading (ML1+4, 100 C.) of 54 or less. A specific gravity is 0.3 to 0.8, a compression set is less than 27%, and a foam state is an interconnected cell.
WINDOW SEAL FOR PREVENTING WATER PENETRATION
A water penetration prevention system includes an insert for being positioned along a track for a window, the insert having a first engaging portion disposed on a first side of the insert and a second engaging portion disposed on a second side of the insert. The system also includes a seal engaging member disposed between the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion, the seal engaging member being selectively positionable between a first position that a second position. The seal engaging member, in the second position, applies a force on at least one of the first side of the insert and the second side of the insert that causes the at least one of the first side of the insert and the second side of the insert to sealingly engage a corresponding one of the window and a vertical wall of the track.
Vented stop bead apparatus, vented weep screed apparatus, and related systems and methods thereof
A vented stop bead and a vented weep screed are used to vent a stucco or plaster wall. The vented stop bead has a base panel with a stop bead wall extending from the base panel at a first location and a spacing member wall extending from the base panel at a second location, wherein a spacing member is connected to the spacing member wall. A vented portion is positioned between the stop bead wall and the spacing member wall, wherein the vented portion has a venting structure positioned through the base panel between the first and second locations. The vented weep screed has a nailing fin with a first leg extending therefrom at a first location. A second leg extends from the nailing fin at a second location, the second leg having at least one venting structure positioned through the second leg.
DOOR MODULE FOR ARRANGING IN A DOOR OPENING OF A WAGON BODY OF A VEHICLE
A first moulding element is arranged on a vertical edge of a door leaf, and at least one second moulding element is arranged on a vertical strut of a door frame, wherein the first moulding element and the second moulding element intermesh automatically only in the closed position of the door leaf in such a manner that a direct or indirect form fit is automatically produced between the first moulding element and the second moulding element, as seen in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the door leaf, but such a form fit is automatically removed in a position of the door leaf differing from the closed position.
Structural glazing weather seal with captured glazing option
A weather seal that inserts into a gap between glazing panels has an H-shape with a snap-on female receiver at either end for receiving a tongue extending from a structure at one end and a cap tongue in the other. A web extending between a pair of walls provides a weather barrier and allows the walls to flex enabling the snap-on action. A pair of sealing fins and a pair of bulbs extend laterally from the H-shape, bridging the gap to exclude weather infiltration. The second receiver is covered by extensions joined at a slit permitting the weather seal to be used without a cap. Alternatively, the cap may be affixed to the weather seal by pushing a cap tongue through the slit and into engagement with the second receiver.
SEAL WITH SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY ELEMENTS FOR ACTUATION AND HEATING
A conditioned apparatus defines a chamber, and includes a frame defining a door opening providing access to the insulated chamber and a door movable relative to the frame. The door selectively blocks the door opening. A seal disposed between the frame and the door, and a shape memory alloy (SMA) element is associated with, and may be knitted directly into, the seal. A controller operatively connected to the SMA element. The controller selectively provides heat to the SMA element, such that the seal changes from spanning between the door and the frame, when the temperature of the SMA element is below a phase-change temperature, to contacting only one of the frame and the door, when the temperature of the SMA element is at least the phase-change temperature.
SHOWER DOOR
An apparatus for providing a seal between a door jamb and a hinged door leaf of a shower, the apparatus having a flexible body configured to be attached to the door jamb and configured to contact the door leaf when the door leaf is in a closed position.
SEALED WEATHERSTRIP CORNER PADS
A method of manufacturing a corner pad weatherseal includes forming a substantially E-shaped foam profile. The foam profile has several legs and a portion of the foam profile is coated in resin. A backer is secured to the foam profile in such a way that a lumen is formed between the foam and the backer.
