The dock can also have a tab configured to move with the port.
SINGLE-USE DISPOSABLE SET CONNECTOR
A medical connector for providing a sterile connection between a multi-use portion and a single-use portion of a fluid delivery system is provided. The medical connector includes a fluid inlet port configured for removable engagement with a connection port of a multi-use disposable set (MUDS) to establish a fluid connection therewith and a waste outlet port configured for removable engagement with a waste inlet port of the MUDS to establish a fluid connection therewith. A patient fluid line is connected, at a first end, to the fluid inlet port and connected, at a second end, to the waste outlet port. Fluid flow through the patient fluid line is unidirectional from the first end to the second end. The patient fluid line is configured for being disconnected from the waste outlet port for delivering fluid to a patient. A multi-fluid delivery system having the medical connector and MUDS is also provided.
HIGH-FLOW ENTERAL FEEDING SYRINGE ASSEMBLY
An enteral feeding connector facilitates an increased flow rate into and through the connector to accommodate feeding fluids requiring higher flow rates for delivery. The connector includes a male connector portion including an inlet, a fluid passage in fluid communication with the inlet, and at least one connector projection at the inlet. The connector projection defines a cross-sectional area of the inlet configured to facilitate delivering feeding fluid requiring higher flow rates through the connector.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FLARED LUER CONNECTOR FOR MEDICAL TUBING
Provided is a system and method for a flared luer connector for medical tubing. More specifically, the flared luer connector includes a tube head adapter formed of a resilient material providing an inlet and opposite thereto an outlet with a longitudinal axis there between. A luer lock fitting is formed proximate to the inlet and structured and arranged to engage a syringe, and at least one flared member disposed between the luer lock fitting and the outlet, the flared member rising from the tube head adapter and angled towards the outlet. The flared member also provides at least one engaging surface between the tube head adapter and a distal edge, the engaging surface acutely angled with respect to the longitudinal axis. The engaging surface is structured and arranged to engage with a corresponding receiving section of a base, the base having a deflector section structured and arranged to deflect a tube head adapter having other than the corresponding flared member. An associated method of use is also provided.
Medical stopcock, kit comprising such a stopcock, and method for preparing a mixture or an emulsion
A medical stopcock comprising a body provided with three female connectors and a male connector, at least one of the female connectors being designed to receive an injection syringe; and a mobile plug which is mounted in the body, is provided with a rotation lever and comprises a fluid circulation channel; wherein the female connector designed to receive an injection syringe comprises a fool proofing device in order to prevent a mixing syringe from being mounted on this connector.
Dialysis-concentrate production assembly
A dialysis concentrate production assembly for producing a dialysis concentrate liquid by dissolving a dry concentrate in water. The dialysis concentrate production assembly includes a mobile interchangeable container which contains the dry concentrate and a stationary production system. The mobile interchangeable container includes an outlet port and a combined port. The stationary production system is fluidically connected to the outlet port and to the combined port via coupling assemblies via which the dry concentrate is mixed with the water to form the liquid dialysis concentrate. At least one coupling assembly includes a system-side coupling body with a liquid line connector having a non-circular cross-section, and a container-side coupling body with a liquid line socket having a non-circular cross-section which is complementary to the non-circular cross section of the liquid line connector. The liquid line connector and the liquid line socket can be plugged together in only one single rotational position.
ACOUSTIC FREQUENCY RECOGNITION OF PATIENT LINES
A fluid injector system includes a powered fluid injector, a connection port configured to receive a single-use disposable set having tubing connected to a fluid inlet port at a first end and connected to a waste outlet port at a second end, and a detector associated with the connection port and configured to generate a signal in response to a sonic, infrasonic, or ultrasonic wave emitted from the single-use disposable set during a priming operation of the single-use disposable set. In some examples, the detector is configured to generate a signal if the frequency of the wave emitted from the single-use disposable set is outside a predetermined range of frequencies corresponding to a predetermined range of frequencies of air expelled from the tubing. A method for detecting the multiple uses of a single-use disposable set connected to a fluid injector system is also provided.
