WINDOW/SHUTTER/DOOR FOR OUTDOOR SETTINGS
Window for outdoor settings, which comprises a movable wing provided with a first support frame hinged to a second support frame of a fixed framework by means of a hinging system, so that, when the movable wing is closed, the two frames define two opposite perimeter faces delimiting a slit. The window comprise a first perimeter gasket fixed to one of the two opposite perimeter faces, acting against the other perimeter face, and placed at an internal opening of the slit in order to conceal from view the hinging system of the window. The window further comprises a second perimeter gasket fixed to one of the two opposite perimeter faces, acting against the other perimeter face, and placed at an intermediate position between the internal opening and an external opening of the slit.
Compression gasket for sealing a window in a window frame
Embodiments described herein may be directed to the functional application and method of use of the compression gasket for sealing a window installed in a window frame. In accordance with the present disclosure, a compression gasket may comprise soft rubber portion that applies pressure against a window surface. The soft rubber portion may compress, causing a rigid plastic portion that to bow outwardly and engage inner surfaces of the window frame. The bowing out of the rigid plastic portion, which may include a leaf spring, may secure the compression gasket to the window frame. The compression gasket may be designed to stop water leakage that may occur between the window and the window frame.
Threshold assembly for an entryway system
A threshold assembly for use with an entryway disposed within an aperture of a structure, which has an exterior and an interior and includes a door panel moveable between open and closed positions, includes a sill and a rail. A rail is rotatably supported above the upper sill surface between an initial position when the door panel is in the open position, and a second position different from the initial position when the door panel is in the closed position. A biasing member is disposed between the upper sill surface of the sill to bias the rail from the second position toward the initial position. A protrusion extends from the sill towards the rail, with the protrusion configured to rotatably support the rail and configured to prevent the biasing member from rotating the rail beyond the initial position.
Appliance gasket with internal arcuate component
A resilient gasket for an appliance defines a longitudinal direction. The gasket includes a base, a pocket attached to the base, and at least one internal component located within a chamber defined by the pocket. The internal component includes a first leg extending along the longitudinal direction of the gasket from a first end of the internal component to a first side of an arcuate portion of the internal component and a second leg extending along the longitudinal direction of the gasket from a second end of the internal component to a second side of the arcuate portion of the internal component.
Sealing device and method of installation
A device for sealing an aperture defined between a first object and second object is provided. The device comprises a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The first sealing member comprising a base member and first, second and third sealing portions. The base member has first and second sides and a surface extending therebetween. The first sealing portion extends from the first side of the base member. A first attachment portion extends along at least a portion of the surface of the base member. The second sealing portion extends from the second side of the base member and is configured to conform to and seal the gap. The third sealing portion extends from the second sealing portion and defines a distal end structured to conform to and form a seal the exterior surface of the second object. The second sealing member comprising a backing member and second attachment portion. The backing member comprising a first and second surface, wherein the first surface comprises an adhesive structured to attach to the first object. The second attachment portion extending along at least a portion of the second surface of the backing member, and being configured to matingly engage the first attachment portion to thereby secure the first sealing member to the second sealing member and to thereby sealing engage the second sealing portion at least partially within the gap and sealing engage the distal end of the third sealing member with the exterior of the second object.
Jacking screw for adjusting a window frame
Embodiments described herein may be directed to the functional application and method of use of a jacking screw for adjusting a window frame. In accordance with the present disclosure, adjusting the jacking screw may cause a first portion of the window frame to be lifted or lowered with respect to a second portion of the window frame. In doing so, a desired alignment of a window installed in the window frame may be achieved. This process may eliminate the use of shimming the underlying surface, thereby making it easier to install the window frame on surfaces that are not perfectly level.
Closure for a Cladding for a Roof Window and a Roof Window Arrangement
An end closure for a cladding for a first roof window forming part of a roof window arrangement mounted in an inclined roof structure, where said first roof window is above a second roof window when seen in the direction of inclination of the roof structure and where a middle flashing member is arranged between the roof windows is disclosed. The end closure comprises an end plug having a male connector section configured to be inserted in a hollow section of the cladding and an end gasket configured to come into a sealing engagement with the middle flashing member. The end gasket is arranged at the interior side of the end plug and extending from one side surface to the other. The end closure may further include a covering plug configured for interconnecting the end plug with a covering extending along a lower edge of the first roof window.
Door sweep
A door sweep for mounting to the bottom end of a door is disclosed. The door sweep has a mounting structure and at least one flexible sealing member extending from the mounting structure. When the door sweep is mounted to the door and the door is suspended within a door opening and is disposed in a closed position, the sealing member is disposed in sealing contact or substantially sealing contact with the bottom surface of the door opening. The mounting structure is provided with at least one groove configured for receiving and connecting with a second or replacement sealing member formed independently of the door sweep such that when the at least one sealing member is no longer able to provide a sealing effect with the bottom surface of the door opening, a second sealing member is disposed within and connected to the groove to provide the desired sealing effect.
Profiled Safety Strip and Door Comprising a Profiled Safety Strip
The aim of the invention is to provide a rubber profiled safety strip or an elastic profiled safety strip which can carry out a signaling function. To this end a profiled safety strip (10) is provided for a door (15) of a transport means, wherein the profiled safety strip (10) contains an opaque elastic main part (11) in which at least one receiving region (17, 18) is formed, and in the at least one receiving region (17, 18) an insert strip (12, 31) is disposed, which contains at least one light source (13, 32) and is made of an elastic material that is at least partly transparent.
