Barrier having upside down joint

The present barrier includes barrier portions engaged to each other by a junction apparatus that includes first and second upper connectors and first and second lower connectors. A junction support member extends between the upper connectors and lower connectors. The junction support member is spaced from and adjacent to the upper connectors. A bridge connector bridges the spacing between the upper end of the junction support member and the upper connectors.

FOLDABLE, IMPACT RESISTANT APPARATUS FOR PROTECTING GLASS PANELS

The present invention includes a foldable, impact resistant apparatus for protecting glass panels from projectile strikes. The object of this invention is to provide a unitary collapsible and foldable structure formed to provide impact protection to otherwise fragile glass of any window structure whether for a vehicle or a building. A further object is for the apparatus is to be easily deployed by a single person, easily folded away from the window structure or removed collapsed and folded for storage.

CHILD SAFETY BARRIER SYSTEM
20210301589 · 2021-09-30 ·

A child safety barrier system includes a plurality of elongated panel sections having a predetermined height and width. At least one support joint is connected between two of the plurality of panel sections to support the plurality of panels in a freestanding vertical orientation to form a panel assembly. A pair of telescoping anchors are positioned along each end of the panel assembly. Each of the telescoping anchors including a header assembly along the top end having an omnidirectional joint for positioning a malleable header block against the ceiling of a building in a plurality of different orientations.

High-speed sectional door

A high-speed sectional overhead door covers a door opening with panels stacked in a single plane and lifted from the bottom-most panel. As panels are lifted, each rolls in its own individual track. As the panels move into the head area, they run through curved tracks and are nested there. The stored panels stacked horizontally one atop another with the door open. This design utilizes a dedicated panel-track pairing as well as a unique hook/cam device which allows for the upper panel to be both locked in the closed position and pushed away for separation and storage in the open position. The design also provides a sectional door with low headroom clearance, high speed closing/opening and a multitude of panel heights without hinges joining the adjacent panels

SHUTTER WITH DIMMING CAPABILITY
20210285279 · 2021-09-16 ·

A shutter with a dimming capability has a frame member, a first shutter body, and a second shutter body. The first shutter body has a plurality of through apertures on a surface and at least one magnetic member disposed along two sides of the through apertures. A height of the second shutter body is shorter than a height of the first shutter body, and the second shutter body further has a plurality of horizontal channels on a surface and at least one magnet member disposed along the horizontal channels. An area of the magnet member is smaller than an area of the magnetic member. The first and second shutter bodies are combinable via the magnetic member and the magnet member and slidably mounted in the frame member such that the second shutter body is movable in the frame member.

Slat for a blind and blind formed therefrom
10934770 · 2021-03-02 · ·

A blind made up of a plurality of customisable rigid slats enables the blind to be fitted snugly within any window opening or doorway as a result of the locking adjustability of the width of such slats. The slats each include a pair of elongate slat panels movable relative to one another between retracted and extended conditions, such that the operative width of the blind is greater in the extended condition than in the retracted condition. The blind further includes one or more fasteners, located at or near each of a pair of minor ends of the slat panels, for releasably fixing the pair of slat panels to one another in the retracted condition, the extended condition and/or any condition there between, thereby to operatively restrict relative movement between the slat panels in such condition.

Safety gate

A safety gate has a main frame, two wall-mounted assemblies, and two connecting assemblies. The two connecting assemblies are respectively and movably mounted on two opposite sides of the main frame. Each connecting assembly has a first connecting part and a second connecting part. Each wall-mounted assembly has a first pivot base and a second pivot base. Each first connecting part is rotatably and detachably connected to a corresponding first pivot base. Each second connecting part is rotatably and detachably connected to a corresponding second pivot base. By detaching and rotating one connecting assembly from the corresponding wall-mounted assembly, the main frame can be closed and opened as a gate. By detaching all the connecting parts from the corresponding bases, the main frame can be easily installed on and disassembled from a place.

TELESCOPING WALL

A collapsible wall for covering an opening in a structure when the collapsible wall is in an extended position. The collapsible wall including a plurality of frame sections engaged with each other to form a telescoping frame movable between the extended position and a retracted position, the frame sections forming at least a portion of a face of the collapsible wall and defining an aperture through the face. A panel is removably engaged to the frame sections, the panel covering the aperture when the panel is disposed in a closed position.

FOLDING SHUTTER
20210002951 · 2021-01-07 ·

A folding shutter having a frame with at least one linear guide rail and a carriage mounted to the linear guide rail so that it can be moved in the first direction extending between a first and a second end of the guide rail, and at least two folding shutter elements where one folding shutter element is attached to the carriage via a first and a second bracket part attached to the carriage, so that the first and the second shutter element folds when the carriage moves away from the first end of the guide rail, and wherein each of a first and a second peg is arranged on one bracket part, and extending into engagement with a first and a second slot respectively arranged on the other bracket part.
