A door, in particular a roll-up door, having a curtain that can be moved between a closed position in which it is arranged, at least in sections, approximately in a plane and an open position in which it is wound, preferably at least in sections, on a winding shaft, said curtain having at least one thermally insulating region such as an insulating body, preferably made of PE form. The insulating region is formed by a pocket bordered at least partially by strip-shaped, deformable reinforcing layers, in particular made of plastics, particularly preferably made of PVC.

BATTENED ROLLER COVERING

A covering for an architectural-structure covering is disclosed. The covering is formed from a plurality of assembled strips of fabric material joined together. Each assembled strip of fabric material may include a fabric material including inner and outer surfaces, and top and bottom ends. A first slat may be coupled to the inner surface of the fabric material adjacent the top end thereof, the first slat having a first contact surface. A second slat may be coupled to the outer surface of the fabric material adjacent the bottom end thereof, the second slat having a second contact surface. The first contact surface of the first slat of a first assembled strip is preferably nested with the second contact surface of the second slat of an adjoining second assembled strip. The second contact surface of the second slat may be partially covered by the piece of fabric material.

MODULAR, ROLL-DOWN AIRFLOW CONTROL APPARATUS
20180283091 · 2018-10-04 ·

A modular roll down airflow control apparatus for use in typically refrigerated and insulated truck or transport vehicle boxes. The modular roll down airflow control apparatus includes a curtain assembly, a mandrel assembly (upon which the curtain assembly may be wound under spring bias), a pair of brackets (coupled to a wall near a ceiling of a truck box or cargo compartment that support the mandrel assembly), locking brackets (coupled to a wall near a floor of a truck box or cargo compartment that hold the curtain assembly down by engaging rods disposed in the curtain at intervals), and a plurality of edging seals (that may be coupled to the side walls of the cargo compartment and the curtain edges press against to form a seal). Air pressure in the cargo box typically acts to advantageously press the curtain edges against the edging seals forming a seal to prevent the escape of cold air and maintain a refrigerated space in the cargo compartment.

A flexible yet durable roll-down curtain is normally stored in a rolled condition, and is unrolled during use. The curtain includes plural, vertically spaced apart rods extending through a width of the curtain. When rolled, the curtain wraps around an elongate, spring-loaded mandrel assembly. The mandrel assembly couples with a pair of mounting brackets mounted at opposing sidewalls of a temperature-controlled compartment. A pair of locking brackets disposed directly opposite one another at opposing sidewalls engage opposing ends of a rod extending through the curtain, to retain the curtain in a deployed position. A flexible side seal provides a sealing engagement vertically along each side edge of the curtain. When deployed, the curtain extends from ceiling to floor, and from sidewall to sidewall, forming a barrier against uncontrolled air movement from a space on either side of the curtain to a space on an opposing side of the curtain.

The present invention relates to roll-up wall and acoustic barrier system (608) which may include an elongated member (300, 670). The elongated member may include a front wall (302), a rear wall (303) spaced from the front wall, a bottom wall (304), a first top wall (326a) adjacent the front wall, a second top wall (326b) adjacent the rear wall, and a channel (86) between the first top wall and the second top wall. The channel may comprise a first side wall (86a), a second side wall (86b), a first ledge (86c), and a second ledge (86d). The first and second ledges may define a slot (88) between the first side wall and the second side wall. The elongated member may further comprise a conduit (466) disposed between the front wall (302) and the rear wall (303) that is connected to the channel via the slot.

According to some aspects, provided are curtain assemblies configured to operate in high wind environments. The curtain assembly can include first and second track guide including internal security rails. The internal securing rails moveably engage end portions of fabric stiffeners to provide stability in the curtain. In some embodiments, the securing rails include ramp portions to accommodate drift in the curtain and/or fabric stiffeners without compromising operation of the curtain.
