ASEPTIC CONNECTOR FOR FLUID CONDUITS
An aseptic connector includes first and second matable housings each comprising a plurality of connectors for fluid conduits. The fluid conduits enter the housings and may be force-fitted onto barbs or flanges on one side of the connectors, or may instead be molded directly onto the connectors. When the housings are joined, the opposite sides of the connectors mate to form fluid seals, thereby establishing fluid pathways between now-connected sets of tubes.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR TREATING CANCER CELLS WITH ALTERNATING POLARITY MAGNETIC FIELDS
Systems and methods for destroying or inhibiting cancer cells and other rapidly-dividing cells include coupling an alternating polarity (AP) magnetic field generator to a target body area and applying an AP magnetic field having a frequency of 0.5-500 kHz and a field strength of 0.5-5 mT to the target body area to achieve a desired inhibiting effect on cancer cells or other rapidly-dividing cells. Treatments provided by the system may be co-administered with an anti-cancer drug such as a chemotherapy drug, a hormone therapy drug, targeted therapy drugs, immunotherapy drugs, or an angiogenesis inhibitor drug.

CONNECTION SYSTEM AND ACTIVE STERILIZER FOR A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A method and system for creating an aseptic connection is disclosed. The method includes arranging a heating element between a first outer sealing surface and a second outer sealing surface such that the heating element is in contact with the first outer sealing surface and the second outer sealing surface. The method further includes applying opposing forces to the first and second outer sealing surfaces such that the first and second outer sealing surfaces are biased towards each other and heating the heating element to sterilize the first outer sealing surface and second outer sealing surface. The method also includes removing the heating element from between the first seal and second seal while continuing to apply the opposing forces to the first and second outer sealing surfaces such that the aseptic connection is simultaneously formed between the first and second outer sealing surfaces.
FLUID CONTAINER ADAPTERS
Various embodiments are generally directed to fluid container adapters that couple with a fluid container, so to enable access to the contents of the fluid container, such as from an endoscopic system via a tubing set. Several embodiments are particularly directed to a fluid container adapter that can couple with an opening in a variety of fluid containers to place one or more tubes in fluid communication with an interior of any particular one of the variety of fluid containers.
UNIVERSAL THREAD FLUID CONTAINER ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments are generally directed to fluid container enclosure systems that couple with a fluid container and enable different systems, such as endoscopic systems, to access the contents of the fluid container, such as via a tubing set. The enclosure systems are configured to fit a wide range of fluid container necks, ports, or other openings, including various opening dimensions, thread finishes, and/or thread dimensions. In one embodiments, an enclosure system may include a cap having multiple carriages arranged therein. For example, a primary carriage may be arranged within the cap to engage with larger-dimensioned bottles. A secondary carriage may be arranged to float within the primary carriage to engage smaller-dimensioned bottles that bypass the primary carriage. Other embodiments are described.

The enclosure systems are configured to fit a wide range of fluid container necks, ports, or other openings, including various opening dimensions and thread finishes. In one embodiment, an enclosure system may include a plug having a sleeve extending therefrom. The plug may be deformed manually or via a plunger system to reduce the outer dimension thereof to fit the plug in the neck of a fluid container. Once the plug is arranged within the neck, the sleeve may be folded down over an outer surface of the neck to form or reinforce a seal between the enclosure system and the neck of the fluid container. Other embodiments are described.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE AUTOMATED OPENING OF A STERILE TUBING WELD
A system and method for automatically opening a heat bonded connection site between two conjoined tubing segments of a medical fluid path is provided. A pair of rollers is utilized to draw the connection site of the conjoined tubing segments between the rollers to compress the connection site with sufficient force to open the connection site. A guide in the form of an elongated groove is provided in a support surface of the system that properly aligns the seal line axis of the conjoined tubing segments relative to the rollers.
