Pet door system having semi-flexible pet door
A pet door system is provided including a casing configured to attach the pet door system to a building and a flexible door attached to the casing. In some embodiments, the door is segmented and comprises a plurality of interlocking segments that are rotatable with respect to each other. In some embodiments, the pet door system further includes a rotating cylinder attached to the flexible door and rotatably connected to the casing and a motor comprising a gear head, where the gear head is attached to the rotating cylinder, such that when the motor is activated, the gear head is rotatable in a first direction to wind the flexible door around the rotating cylinder. In some embodiments, the pet door system may be operated by a pet-worn collar and/or may be remotely controlled via a mobile device.
Modular roll-up wall system
A roll-up wall system including a frame having a longitudinal axis, a first roller disposed in the frame, a second roller disposed in the frame, and a tube disposed in the frame. A screen may be connected to the tube. The screen may be supported by the first roller and the second roller. Further, the screen may be movable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the screen is rolled around the tube which is spaced a first distance from the first roller. In the second configuration, the screen forms a barrier adjacent the frame, and the tube is spaced a second distance from the first roller. The second distance may be less than the first distance. Also, the roll-up wall system may be an acoustic barrier which achieves a Sound Transmission Class rating ranging from approximately 31 STC to approximately 53 STC.

Slat assembly for roller shutter, roller shutter, and methods of manufacture thereof
A slat assembly may include a slat having a first and second receiving portion. The first and second receiving portions being a pair of bent portions forming an acute angle. The slat assembly may further include an insulation layer lined on the slat. The slat assembly may further include a retaining mechanism disposed on the insulation layer to press a first portion of the insulation layer into the first receiving portion of the slat and to press a second portion of the insulation layer into the second receiving portion of the slat such that the retaining mechanism may cooperate with the first and second receiving portions to hold the insulation layer between the retaining mechanism and the slat without puncturing or penetrating the insulation layer with fasteners. A roller shutter including the slat assembly. A method of manufacturing a slat assembly and a method of manufacturing a roller shutter.
DOOR, IN PARTICULAR SPIRAL DOOR
The present invention relates to a door (10), in particular a spiral door or roller door, having a flexible curtain or having a plurality of profiles articulated with one another. The door comprises: a door leaf (20) movable starting from a closed position in the course of an opening movement into a multilayered wound position, a guide assembly (30) having a spiral-shaped guide path section (32) for guiding the opening movement in the region of the lateral edge (22) of the door leaf (20), and a flexible traction element (40) attached to a section (24) of the door leaf that leads in the course of the opening movement for pulling the door leaf into the multilayered wound position.
ROLLING SHUTTER SYSTEM AND COMPONENT PARTS
A main slat for a roller shutter system is provided. The slat includes a slat body having a first and second end, a hook end connected to the first end of the slat body, a screw boss connected to the second end of the slat body, and a receiving end connected to the screw boss. The hook end and the receiving end are each shaped such that the hook end is laterally insertable into the receiving end of an adjacent main slat and when so inserted forms a hinge. The slat body has a central cross section including at least first and second portions, the first and second portions each having a different radius of curvature.

Shaft assembly, covering or protective device, and mounting kit
A shaft assembly for a protective or closing device comprises a hollow-shaped hollow section body and a drive unit. The shaft assembly is arranged to be mounted between a first support bearing and a second support bearing. The hollow section body is rotatable about longitudinal axis thereof and arranged to accommodate a curtain or a panel. The drive unit is at least partially accommodated in the hollow section body. The drive unit comprises an output for rotatably driving the hollow section body. The hollow section body comprises a first end and a second end and extends between the first support bearing and the second support bearing. At least at the first end or at the second end of the hollow section body, a connecting sleeve is provided. A biasing element is arranged between the hollow section body and the connecting sleeve. The connecting sleeve is axially displaceable relative to the hollow section body against a force applied by the biasing element.
