ANTIMICROBIAL INSERTS FOR STOPCOCK MEDICAL CONNECTORS
Various embodiments of an antimicrobial insert for a stopcock medical connector are provided. More specifically, the present invention relates to an antimicrobial insert that is seated within at least a portion of the annular bore of the connector's tap, wherein fluid within the annular bore contacts the antimicrobial insert, thereby preventing microbial proliferation within the stopcock medical connector.
Feeding tube management
A system for feeding and evacuation has a feeding tube in place into a subject's stomach cavity, having a Luer-Lock compatible female connector on an outboard end, a feed source, a unique Lopez valve having a conventional connector on one end and a male Luer-Lock connector on the other end in place of the conventional tapered connector, a suction tube coupled to a suction source, the suction tube having a connector compatible with the conventional connector of the conventional Lopez valve on an end away from the suction source. With the feeding tube connected to the feed source, nutrients are supplied to the subject through the feeding tube, and with the feed source disconnected, the body of the unique Lopez valve connected to the feed tube by the male Luer-Lock extension and to the suction tube, the subject's stomach cavity is exposed to suction controlled by the conventional Lopez valve.
IV SET COMPONENT WITH PRIMING FUNCTION
Drip chambers, burettes and other IV set components are described herein. An IV set component described herein comprises a chamber body, an inlet portion, and a disk valve. The chamber body defines a chamber volume and an outlet. The chamber volume is in fluid communication with the outlet. The inlet portion is coupled to the chamber body, the inlet portion defining an inlet, a priming port, a drip port. The inlet is in fluid communication with the priming port and the drip port, and the priming port and the drip port are each in fluid communication with the chamber volume. The disk valve is coupled to the inlet portion. The disk valve is movable to direct flow from the inlet to the priming port in a first position and to direct flow from the inlet to the drip port in a second position.
A FLOW DEVICE FOR CREATING A FLOW OF BUBBLES AND A VISUALISATION DEVICE WITH A DEVICE FOR CREATING A FLOW OF BUBBLES
The invention provides a flow device for creating a flow of bubbles of a contrast medium. The device comprises a pump which is configured to provide a flow of the medium and an elongated insertion tube attached to the pump at a proximal end. The elongated insertion tube forms a flow path between the proximal end and an outlet at a distal end.
Interface device between an external equipment and lines intended to be connected to a patient system
An interface device between external equipment and at least a venous tube for transferring fluid to a patient, the interface device having at least a first port adapted to be connected to an outlet port of the external equipment; and a venous port carried by a stator of the interface device in order to inject the fluid into the venous tube. The interface device includes a third port, the first port and the third port being carried by a movable assembly that is movable relative to the stator, the interface device being arranged to pass from any one of its configurations to another one of its configurations by the movable assembly moving relative to the stator.
Valve structure
[Object] It is an object of the present invention to provide a valve structure capable of fixing a first connecting port of a first valve box block and a second connecting port of a second valve box block to each other when the first valve box block, a first driving portion block, the second valve box block and a second driving portion block are fixed to each other by bolts. [Solving means] A first valve box bolt insertion hole 113 is formed in the first valve box block 110, a first driving portion bolt fixing hole 123 is formed in the first driving portion block 120, a second valve box bolt insertion hole 213 is formed in the second valve box block 210, and a second driving portion bolt fixing hole 223 is formed in the second driving portion block 220. The first valve box block 110 and the first driving portion block 120 are fixed to each other by a first bolt 130, the second valve box block 210 and the second driving portion block 220 are fixed to each other by a second bolt 230, and the first connecting port 111 and the second connecting port 211a, 211b are fixed to each other by a clamp member 10.
COMPOUNDING DEVICE, SYSTEM, KIT, SOFTWARE, AND METHOD
An exemplary compounding system and method can include a transfer set that includes a manifold for assisting in transferring a plurality of ingredients from supply container(s) to a final container. The manifold can include a first channel in fluid communication with at least one primary ingredient, and a second channel in fluid communication with a plurality of secondary ingredients. The first channel and second channel can be in fluid isolation from each other such that the at least one primary ingredient does not mix with the plurality of secondary ingredients within the manifold. The transfer set can include a plurality of inlet lines in fluid communication with the manifold and two outlet lines configured for connection to two separate pumps and eventually being in fluid communication with the final container.
STOPCOCK APPARATUS FOR ANGIOGRAPHY INJECTOR FLUID PATHS
A valve assembly for a fluid injector system includes a valve housing, a first port configured for fluid communication with a fluid injector, a second port, a third port, and a fourth port configured for fluid communication with a patient line. The valve assembly includes an air detection region associated with the first port, a fluid path length having a proximal end in fluid communication with the second port and a distal end in fluid communication with the third port, and a valve element defining a first fluid path and a second fluid path. The first fluid path provides fluid communication between the first and second ports in a delivery position of the valve housing. The second fluid path provides fluid communication between the third and fourth ports in the delivery position. The third port is isolated from the fourth port in a stop position of the valve housing.
