A detection system is capable of detecting if the respective attachment coupling formation is in a desired position with respect to the first coupling formation, wherein the detecting means comprises at least one non-contact sensor, preferably an ultrasonic sensor.

An apparatus for connecting an implement to a three point hitch of mobile machinery comprises two frameworks, a first framework and a second framework. The first framework is disposed in a first plane and comprises at least two parallel, vertically-spaced apart, laterally extending rails. There are three attachments supported by the first framework for attachment to the three-point hitch. The second framework is slidable generally in the plane of the first framework and is mounted on the rails to slide laterally along the rails. At least two connectors are supported by the slidable second framework for connecting the second framework to an implement that can be pulled or pushed by the mobile machinery. A driver is connected to the first framework and connected to the second framework for driving the second framework laterally back and forth along the rails of the first framework.

The tool includes at least two reception assemblies each having a first receiving portion and a second receiving portion the openings of which are each facing and provided to receive one of the first gripping pins and one of the second gripping pins for retaining the tool on the tool holder. The tool is locked on the tool holder by means of the locking cylinder by moving each gripping pin into abutment at the bottom of the associated receiving portion thereof.

A tool coupler assembly may include a power linkage assembly, and the power linkage assembly may include a first power link. The first power link may include a first end configured for pivotal connection to a tool, and a second, opposite end configured for pivotal connection to one end of a tool control actuator. The tool control actuator may be connected at an opposite end to a first end of a tool support member of a machine, wherein operation of the tool control actuator pivots the tool about a tool pivot axis coaxial with a tool engagement interface at a second end of the tool support member. A power linkage actuator may be pivotally connected at a first end for coaxial rotation with the tool engagement interface at the second end of the tool support member, and at a second end for coaxial rotation with the first end of the first power link.

Demolition apparatus

A demolition apparatus and an adapter frame of the demolition apparatus are disclosed. The adapter frame may be formed with coupling seats which engage pins on a jaw set to assemble the demolition apparatus. The openings of the coupling seats face different directions for quick and simple assembly of the demolition apparatus. A rotatable locking element may be provided on the adapter frame to lock a pin on the jaw set.

A quick hitch coupler for coupling an attachment to a dipper arm of an excavator, the quick hitch coupler comprising: (a) a body member adapted for coupling to the dipper arm, (b) a fixed engaging jaw mounted on the body member for engaging a first one of a pair of coupling pins mounted on the attachment, (c) a movable engaging jaw mounted on the body member for engaging a second one of the pair of coupling pins of the attachment, the movable engaging jaw being movable between an engaged state with the movable engaging jaw engaging the second coupling pin while the fixed engaging jaw engages the first coupling pin for coupling the attachment to the coupler, and a disengaged state for disengaging the second coupling pin, (d) a latch co-operable with the fixed engaging jaw for retaining the first coupling pin of the attachment engaged in the fixed engaging jaw the latch being alternately operable in a latched state co-operating with the fixed engaging jaw for retaining the first coupling pin in the fixed engaging jaw, and an unlatched state for releasing the first coupling pin from the fixed engaging jaw, (e) an urging means for urging the latch into the latched state, (f) a release block being movable on (and relative to) a guide, the release block being movable on the guide between a non-active position in which the latch remains in the latched state and an active position where the release block abuts against the latch to move the latch from the latched state to the unlatched state against the urging action of the urging means, (g) a drive means generating an amount of displacement: (i) for moving the movable engaging jaw from the engaged state to the disengaged state, and (ii) for moving the release block on the guide from the non-active position to the active position.
The drive means generates an amount of displacement for moving the movable engaging jaw but the release block is not moved and a second stage where the drive means generates an amount of displacement for moving the movable engaging jaw above a threshold amount where the release block is moved.

The mechanical signaling mechanism comprises an assembly for signaling failure of the second coupling member to engage in the second receiving members. The assembly comprises a coupling gear for moving a signaling member into a locking position when the locking member moves into the coupling position, and into an unlocking position when the at least one locking member moves beyond the coupling position.
