The pin locking unit includes a pivot body rotatably coupled to the coupler body and connected to the actuator, a hook support for locking the movable hook, a pin support for locking the first pin, and a locking elastic member for preventing the pivot body from excessively pivoting in a release direction thereof.
Reversible Bucket Coupler for Excavator Buckets and Method of Use
The present invention provides a reversible bucket coupler device and method of use for reversing the orientation of a bucket used with an excavator so that the teeth of the bucket is facing away from the cab of the excavator and method of use. The reversed orientation of the bucket using the reversible bucket coupler device provides an operator of an excavator the ability to complete tasks in a more efficient, clean and safe manner, as well as providing much needed flexibility in the way excavation projects can be performed.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO SECURELY MANAGE QUICK COUPLING OF TOOLS IN AN EARTH MOVING EQUIPMENT
A control device and method for controlling a disengaging actuator (1) of a tool attachment, the device comprising a three-state switch (2), with a middle neutral position (20), a first end position (21), and a second end position (22), a control unit (3, 3′) having an input corresponding to an activation of the first end position (21), an electro-valve (4) coupled hydraulically to the disengaging actuator (1), having a coil (40), a first control line (41) and a second control line (42) coupled respectively to first and second terminals of the coil (40) of the electro-valve, wherein one of the first and second control lines is coupled to the second end position (22) of the three-state switch and the other of the first and second control lines is coupled to an output of the control unit, such that both control lines have to be activated to allow disengagement.
COUPLER
An excavator coupler including a front jaw for receiving a first attachment pin of an accessory and a rear pin receiving area for receiving a second attachment pin of the accessory, a first closure mechanism for the rear pin receiving area, the first closure mechanism including an actuator and a movable second pin engaging surface for selectively securing the second attachment pin in the rear pin receiving area and for pulling the first attachment pin into the front jaw of the coupler, a second closure member for the front jaw for selectively retaining the front attachment pin in the front jaw, and a front latch control component for selectively controlling the second closure member between an open state and a closed state wherein the actuator includes a release member for selectively engaging a release arm on the front latch control component to activate or deactivate the front latch control component.
Coupler push down eject lever
A vehicle including a coupling device having a male coupler with a release pin and a female coupler having a female housing with a recess for removably connecting the male coupler. The coupling device further includes a mechanical ejector moveably connected to the female housing and configured for depressing the release pin for ejecting the male coupler from the female housing.
QUICK COUPLER
This invention related to a coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.
Removable tool assembly for construction machines
A removable tool assembly for a backhoe digging apparatus of a construction equipment machine having spaced apart parallel first and second fastening pins is disclosed. The removable tool assembly includes an attachment mechanism for releasably attaching the removable tool assembly onto the backhoe digging apparatus, the attachment mechanism including: a first attachment element having first receiving areas adapted to receive the first fastening pin, and a second attachment element having second receiving areas adapted to receive the second fastening pin, wherein the second attachment element is movable relative to the first attachment element between a first position, in which the first and second fastening pins can be removed from the first and second receiving areas.
QUICK-CHANGE DEVICE
A quick-change device for changing attachments on a construction machine comprises a main body and parallel lateral flanks with oppositely disposed first and second bearing bushings for receiving mounting pins. To expand the range of applications, at least two oppositely disposed first bearing bushings can be inserted at different angular positions into first oppositely disposed passage openings in the lateral flanks by rotating the bearing bushings about an axis, which is offset relative to a central axis of a receiving hole of the first bearing bushing, and have an external contour for rotationally rigid engagement in a complementary internal contour of the passage opening.
COUPLER CONTROL SYSTEM
A coupler control system (10) for coupler on an excavator arm (14) of an excavator (12), the coupler comprising a hydraulic actuator (60), the excavator comprising a solenoid valve (20) for controlling operation of the coupler's hydraulic actuator (60), the excavator arm (14) comprising a boom arm (36) and a stick (40), both operated by separate hydraulic actuators, and a bucket actuator (44) for rotating an accessory relative to the stick (40), the coupler control system (10) comprising a controller linked to the solenoid valve (20) for controlling operation of the coupler's hydraulic actuator (60), a status indicator (22), a coupler control switch (24) for locating in the cab of the excavator and a pressure sensor (28) for connecting to the hydraulic system for at least one of the hydraulic actuators for the boom arm, the stick or the bucket actuator, wherein the coupler control switch and the status indicator are connected to the controller, the pressure sensor is arranged to sense when the hydraulic fluid of the hydraulic system is at a pressure less than a predetermined pressure signifying a grounding of the coupler, the controller is connected to the pressure sensor to detect that sensed state of the pressure and the controller is arranged, in response to that detection, to provide an indication to the operator via the status indicator.
