QUICK COUPLER
This invention related to a coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.
INTELLIGENT MECHANICAL LINKAGE PERFORMANCE SYSTEM
A work machine having a controller configured to receive a first position signal from a first boom position sensor, a second position signal from a second boom position sensor, and a load signal from the load measuring device, wherein the controller is further configured to calculate a map of hydraulic capacities within an envelope of movement for one or more of a first and a second actuators based on the first position signal, the second position signal, and the load signal, and generate a lift path of movement for the pin through at least a portion of the envelope based on the hydraulic capacities, wherein the movement envelope being smaller than the envelope.
INTELLIGENT MECHANICAL LINKAGE PERFORMANCE SYSTEM
A work machine having an intelligent mechanical linkage performance system comprises a frame and a ground-engaging mechanism, a boom assembly coupled to the frame wherein the boom assembly comprises a large boom and a dipper stick. A load measuring device is coupled to the boom assembly and configured to generate a load signal indicative of a payload. A pin is coupled to the dipper stick wherein the pin has an envelope of movement throughout which the pin is moveable by the large boom and the dipper stick. A controller is configured to receive a first position signal from a first boom position sensor, a second position signal from a second boom position sensor, and the load signal from the load measuring device. The controller is further configured to calculate a map of hydraulic capacities within the envelope of movement.
COUPLER WITH POWER CONNECTION SYSTEM
A coupler for coupling an attachment to an excavator or other machine comprises a powered actuator for actuating a locking member into and out of said locking state, a first power coupling unit, and a second actuator for moving the power coupling unit into and out of an engaging position in which it is engagable with a corresponding second power coupling unit of the attachment. The coupler is configured to cause the first power coupling unit to move into the engaging position after said latching member adopts the locking state and, when decoupling the attachment from the coupler, to cause said latching member to remain in its locking state until after the first power coupling unit is moved out of its engaging position.
TOOL COUPLING ARRANGEMENT HAVING ZERO OFFSET
A tool coupler for coupling a tool to an end of a machine link. The tool coupler having a coupler frame, a hook configured to receive a first pin of the tool and configured to attach to the end of the machine link such that the tool coupler, a wedge slidingly received within the coupler frame, and an actuator connected to the wedge to move the wedge away from the hook to bias a second pin of the tool against the coupler frame. The tool coupler mounts the tool to the machine link such that the tool and the tool coupler pivots about the same axis.
Plug and play tool connection
A common connection apparatus for coupling a power tool to an extensible arm and a power supply, the apparatus including a tool support base designed to support a tool, and a power supply support base designed to be affixed to the end of the extensible arm. The tool support base and the power supply support base each include a plurality of power connectors, positioned for engagement when the bases are aligned. The tool support base also has an alignment stab, which is received within a channel of the power supply support base. A plurality of pins are further positioned on the tool support base, to be received in apertures of the power supply support base. By this configuration, the bases may be aligned and engaged, facilitating the transmission of power from the machinery to which the arm is affixed, to the tool.
Work attachment assemblies
Improvements to work attachment assemblies and in particular work attachment assemblies for use with work machines such as excavators.
Anti-Release Mechanism
An anti-release mechanism of a pin-grabber coupler securing a work tool connected to a work machine is disclosed. The anti-release mechanism comprises an actuator, a wedge, a latch, a guide rod connecting the wedge and the latch, and a bias member on a first guide rod end of the guide rod biasing the latch and the wedge together. The wedge and the latch lock around a pin of the work tool and maintain the wedge against the pin of the work tool during a loss of engagement force of the wedge against the pin.

A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release the pin from the capture region. QUICK-CHANGE COUPLER DEVICE AND QUICK-CHANGE COUPLER SYSTEM COMPRISING SAID QUICK-CHANGE COUPLER DEVICE
A quick-change coupler device for coupling and uncoupling implement attachments to and from construction site equipment includes a carrier assembly, first receiving members disposed on one side of the carrier assembly for receiving a first coupling member, second receiving members disposed on the other side of the carrier assembly for receiving a second coupling member, a locking unit dedicated to the second receiving members and capable of moving between a release position and a locking position, and a catch unit disposed on the carrier assembly for catching the implement attachment. To simplify coupling and to ensure an increased safety level, the catch unit comprises at least one catch hook swivel-mounted on the carrier assembly and a control unit controls swivel of the catch hook between a folded-in and a folded-out position. The control unit is actuated by the first coupling member and is actuated independently of the locking unit.
