A COUPLER FOR A WHEEL LOADER
20170107684 · 2017-04-20 · ·

A coupler for a wheel loader is used for coupling an attachment (102) to a lifting arm of the wheel loader. A bracket (100) is installed between the lifting arm and the attachment (102). The bracket's back face is pivotally connected to a lifting arm and the bracket's front face is detachably connected to the attachment (102). The attachment (102) has a pair of protrusions (104a,104b) rearwardly extending from the lower back of the attachment (102) and have locking holes pierced through their width. The bracket has a pair of receiving slots (108a,108b) formed at the lower front of the bracket and engaged with the protrusions(104a,104b). The coupler has a shaft (202), and a pair of locking pins (204a,204b) combined with the shaft by threads (216a,216b). The threads (216a,216b) formed at one end of the shaft (202) are right handed and the threads (216a,216b) formed at the other end of the shaft (202) are left handed. When users turn the shaft (202) in one direction, the locking pins (204a,204b) are extended and engaged with the locking holes (a coupling position). When users turn the shaft in the other direction, the locking pins are shortened and released from the locking holes (a release position).

A manual locking subassembly for a loader system of a utility vehicle includes an actuator manually operable from an operator cab of the vehicle and a mechanical linkage extending from the actuator and affixed to a loader attachment carrier rotatable about an axis. Manipulation of the actuator in a first direction moves a linkage member of the mechanical linkage from a first position in which a loader attachment implement is uniformly movable with the attachment carrier to a second position in which the loader attachment implement is non-uniformly movable with the loader attachment carrier.

MACHINE HAVING REMOVABLE TOOL SYSTEM

A tool system is disclosed for a machine. The tool system may have a first adapter configured to removably connect with a first side of the machine, and a second adapter configured to removably connect with a second side of the machine opposite the first side. The tool system may also have a frame member with a first end pivotally attached to the first adapter, and a second end pivotally attached to the second adapter. The tool system may further have a tool pivotally connected to the frame member between the first and second adapters, and at least one hydraulic actuator disposed between the frame member and each of the first and second adapters.

BRACKET FOR REVERSIBLY MOUNTING AN EXCAVATOR BUCKET ON AN ARTICULATED ARM
20250101706 · 2025-03-27 ·

There is described a bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket by providing a rear concavity at a rear portion of the body and a front concavity at a front portion of the body, both oriented rearwardly, which can alternately hold a corresponding hinge shaft of a coupler in either orientation. Abutments at the center of the body (split into a front and rear abutment edges, intersecting) are provided to further retain the coupler in the mounting bracket in either configuration by a receiving a stopper of the coupler, which is circular and may be excentric with respect to another hinge shaft of the coupler. Gripping and un-gripping can thereby be facilitated.

REVERSIBLE BUCKET

An assembly comprising an excavation bucket and a bracket to mount the excavation bucket thereto, wherein the assembly allows to selectively mount the excavation bucket to an articulated arm with the receptacle of the excavation bucket facing frontward or facing rearward.

Coupler unit for work machine
12410579 · 2025-09-09 · ·

A coupler unit for coupling a work tool with a work machine includes a coupling bracket. The coupler unit includes a pin, at least one side plate, a boss extending from the side plate, and a slider movably coupled with the boss. Based on a contact of the work tool with the slider, the slider is configured to move relative to the boss from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the slider is misaligned relative to the boss and the side plate, and the slider prevents receipt of the pin within the boss and the side plate. In the second position, each of the coupling bracket, the slider, the boss, and the side plate are in alignment with each other, and the pin is receivable within each of the coupling bracket, the slider, the boss, and the side plate.

Work tool mounting mechanism
