QUICK-CHANGE COUPLER DEVICE
A quick-change coupler device for coupling and uncoupling an implement attachment to a construction vehicle comprises a support member; first receiving members on one side of the support member for receiving a first coupling member; second receiving members disposed on the other side for receiving a second coupling member, the second receiving members having a locking member moveable between a release position for coupling or uncoupling the implement attachment and a coupling position for retaining the implement attachment on the coupler device; and a mechanical signaling mechanism for monitoring the locking status. The mechanical signaling mechanism comprises an assembly for signaling failure of the second coupling member to engage in the second receiving members. The assembly comprises a coupling gear for moving a signaling member into a locking position when the locking member moves into the coupling position, and into an unlocking position when the at least one locking member moves beyond the coupling position.
A LOCKING DEVICE FOR A QUICK COUPLER
A wedge locking element (10) for a locking device of a quick coupler A for coupling the pin P2 of an attachment to earth working machinery. The wedge locking element (10) has a sloping wedge surface (13). Projecting from the wedge surface (13) is an engagement surface (12) with which the attachment pin P2 can engage but not apply any substantial driving force to the wedge locking element (10) in the event of failure of a force maintaining the wedge locking element (10) in a position where the pin P2 is retained with the coupler A. The pin engagement surface (12) lies in a plane that is substantially in line with the direction in which the locking element (10) is, in use, moved by the driving force.
Attachment coupler
A coupler for releasably coupling an attachment to a heavy-equipment machine. The coupler comprises a frame, and a plurality of connection elements extending from the frame, with the connection elements configured to engage with the attachment. The coupler additionally comprises a locking pin configured to extend simultaneously through the frame and the attachment. The coupler further comprises a locking element configured to selectively engage with the locking pin to securely couple the coupler to the attachment. The coupler further comprises an actuator configured to shift the locking element between an unlocked position and a locked position.
Safety coupling mechanism
An excavator tool attaching mechanism includes a housing having a pair of housing walls; a fixed engagement member for engaging with a first coupling pin of an excavator tool; a moveable engagement mechanism for engaging with a second coupling pin of the excavator tool; and a safety mechanism moveable between a locked and an unlocked configuration. The moveable engagement mechanism includes an engaging element moveable between a first position for releasing the excavator tool and a second position for engagement with the second coupling pin. The safety mechanism is automatically moved from the unlocked to the locked configuration by movement of the engaging element from the first to the second position, preventing movement of the engaging element between the second and first position. The engaging element is moveable to the second position when the moveable engagement mechanism engages with the second coupling pin.
Assembly composed of a tool, a handling apparatus and a quick coupling device between tool and apparatus
An assembly includes a tool equipped with a quick coupling device and a handling apparatus equipped with a coupling element which is adapted to be coupled with the quick coupling device. The quick coupling device includes a supporting structure, a first engagement element having two, V-shaped elongated arms and is connected to a second V-shaped engagement element with which the coupling element is equipped, a first hydraulic connection adapted to perform the hydraulic connection between tool and handling apparatus at the end of the mechanical coupling between the coupling element and the engagement element, and two or more elements enabling the mechanical coupling between the device and the handling apparatus.
Coupler for earth moving or materials handling machine
A coupler is configured to couple an implement to an earth moving or materials handling machine. The coupler includes a locking member for locking a pin of an implement into a coupler in the recess. The locking member is driven by a hydraulic arrangement, with the hydraulic cylinder body being formed integrally with either the coupler body or the locking member. The coupler may be adapted to accommodate a range of implement pin spacings and/or diameters, so that the coupler can be used with different implements and in particular with different makes of implement.
IMPLEMENT CARRIER
Power machines with implement carriers that can sense the proximity of an implement to the implement carrier with a plurality of sensors. Such sensing is indicative of the likelihood of an implement being positioned adjacent to the implement carrier. In some embodiments, a sensor detects whether a locking mechanism is activated.
BRACKET FOR REVERSIBLY MOUNTING AN EXCAVATOR BUCKET ON AN ARTICULATED ARM
There is described a bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. A first concavity on a first side of the body substantially has an arc-of-circle shape to conform with a surface of a cylinder and hinge therearound. A second concavity on a second side of the body is provided opposite the first side with respect to the central portion. A third concavity on the second side of the body substantially has the arc-of-circle shape. There are provided a first abutment edge formed by the central portion of the body; and a second abutment edge aside the first abutment edge and further from the central portion of the body compared to the first abutment edge. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket.
Bracket for reversibly mounting an excavator bucket on an articulated arm
A bracket for mounting an excavation bucket on a coupler of an articulated arm. The bracket comprises a body extending in a plane and having a central portion. This bracket allows reversible mounting of the coupler of the excavation bucket by providing two pairs of adjacent concavities at a front and at a rear portion of the body which can alternately hold a corresponding pair of hinge shafts of a coupler in either orientation. Abutments at the front and at the rear are provided to further retain the coupler in the mounting bracket in either configuration. A bottom of the mounting bracket comprises notches that fit with corresponding portions of the bucket for improved securing of the bucket assembly on the mounting bracket.
Adapter Bracket for Coupling a Work Tool and a Work Machine
An adapter bracket can releasably couple a work tool having a connection interface with first and second linkage pins to an implement arm on a work machine. The adapter bracket can include an upper arm interface and a lower tool interface. The tool interface can include a first or forward pin opening to receive the first linkage pin and a second or rearward pin opening to receive the second linkage pin. The first pin opening can be a multi-radii pin opening for linkage pins of different pin diameters and the second pin opening can be a span channel for different pin spans.
