Attachment for a bucket of a prime mover
10738438 · 2020-08-11 ·

An attachment for use with a bucket of a prime mover comprises a base member having fixed shape in a longitudinal direction of the base member between first and second ends with first and second pivoting members pivotally connected at the first and second ends of the base member, each actuated for pivotal movement about a respective transverse axis by a distinct actuator. The second pivoting member forms a base for releasably receiving different attachment ends such as a secondary arm member carrying a respective pivoting member independently actuated of the base member's pivoting members that is disposed on a secondary arm member end distal to a connection end thereof for connecting to the base member, an extension member without any actuators and pivoting members, and a tool section which is designed for carrying out a specific function.

Clamp implement for excavator

A clamp implement and a control system for controlling the clamp implement such that the clamp implement can be caused to follow motion of a bucket or other primary implement in a selected mode of operation. In another mode of operation, the claim implement can be caused to move independently of the primary implement.

Material handling bucket apparatus and method for handling application material with a loader

A material handling bucket apparatus and method comprising a material handling bucket having a bucket front half to haul application material, a horizontally sliding mechanism allowing the bucket front half to slide horizontally, a pair of linkage systems secured to the bucket front half, a loader tractor, a boom, a hydraulic power unit, and a power source. The pair of linkage systems laterally move the bucket front half forward beyond and independent of the opposing bucket back half, parallel to the ground surface, leaving the opposing bucket back half tilted back to be loaded. The bucket front half slides forward; and pivots upward to open with respect to the opposing bucket back half and subsequently reversing or pivoting downward to close against the opposing bucket back half, allowing the material handling bucket to doze, having the bucket front half to slide forward to scoop more application material.

Electric grapple for compact tractors with loader
20200157767 · 2020-05-21 ·

A debris grapple bucket attachment for securement with the loader of a compact tractor, generally used in conjunction with the front end loader of a tractor, the attachment comprising a grapple incorporating a grapple bucket for use in combination with a front rake like member, with the grapple bucket having sidewalls, a formed back wall, all structurally integrated together, with the rake like member being secured with an electrically operated industrial linear actuator, to provide for pivoting of the rake like member from an open to a closed position as when urging debris onto its grapple bucket, and to retain the same, for removal.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A LOADING TOOL
20200109538 · 2020-04-09 ·

A method for controlling a loading tool includes positioning the loading tool on a lifting device of a machine, receiving a payload by the loading tool from a payload stock during an operating mode, and determining a mass of the payload during the operating mode. The method also includes providing calibration data representative of a ratio between a volume of the payload and a mass of the payload, detecting a volume of the payload during the operating mode, and determining the mass of the payload as a function of the detecting step and the calibration data.

SLOPE-LEVEL-CUT BUCKET
20200080278 · 2020-03-12 ·

A slope-level-cut bucket for an excavator includes a first bucket half and a second bucket half. The bucket halves are pivotably connected to each other and movable between a closed position and an opened position. Each bucket half has an excavating edge configured to minimize bucket overlap during cutting of a sloped surface. In particular, the excavating edge includes a plurality of steps. The dimensions of the steps are selected to optimize the cutting of a desired slope of the excavating surface.

Rock bucket attachment incorporating sweep-in grapple for partial or full collection and conveying of miscellaneous debris
10584462 · 2020-03-10 · ·

A rock bucket attachment for securement with a skid steer unit or tractor front loader, the attachment incorporating a bucket for use in combination with a grapple, the bucket having side walls, back walls, and a bottom wall, at least one pair of grapples interconnecting by lever arms to the side walls of the bucket, said at least one pair of grapples having a pair of side arms pivotally connected with the front of the lever arms, and hydraulic cylinders interconnecting between the back of the side arms and the back end of the side walls, or the frame structure interconnecting between the two, such that when the hydraulic cylinders are actuated, they initially pivot the lever arms forwardly to their fullest extent to arrange the grapples and its rake over a debris pile, and then further actuation of the hydraulic cylinders pivoting the side arms relative to the lever arms to pivot the rake of each grapple downwardly to urge any debris onto the bucket as the rake comes into proximity with the front of the bucket, to retain any raked debris therein. There are at least a pair or more of grapples operatively associated with the rock bucket attachment.

Collector assembly
10544561 · 2020-01-28 · ·

A collector assembly for collecting debris from opposite sides of a member such as an elevated beam. The collector assembly includes a platform extending laterally between a first side edge and a second side edge. A first trough is provided for disposition along one side of the beam for receiving debris. A second trough is provided for disposition along the opposite side of the beam and is adjacent to and parallel with the first trough.

Method and arrangement to control the operation of a wood-handling device in a work machine, and a forest machine
11937554 · 2024-03-26 · ·

A method for controlling operation of a wood-handling device in a work machine. The wood-handling device is attached through a rotation device to an end of a set of booms of the work machine to create a desired orientation of the wood-handling device for the operation. The orientation of the wood-handling device using the rotation device is tied on the basis of the operation to be performed using the set of booms. The orientation of the wood-handling device is tied to the position of the end of the set of booms. The position of the end of the set of booms is defined while performing the operation, on the basis of the position of the end of the set of booms. The wood-handling device is oriented using the rotation device, according to the said tie.
