METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT TO CONTROL THE OPERATION OF A WOOD-HANDLING DEVICE IN A WORK MACHINE, AND A FOREST MACHINE
A method for controlling operation of a wood-handling device in a work machine. The wood-handling device is attached through a rotation device to an end of a set of booms of the work machine to create a desired orientation of the wood-handling device for the operation. The orientation of the wood-handling device using the rotation device is tied on the basis of the operation to be performed using the set of booms. The orientation of the wood-handling device is tied to the position of the end of the set of booms. The position of the end of the set of booms is defined while performing the operation, on the basis of the position of the end of the set of booms. The wood-handling device is oriented using the rotation device, according to the said tie.
Multi-Position Hydraulic Coupling Attachment
An improved arrangement for multi-position attachment points for hydraulic implement coupling is provided. Hydraulic hoses associated with an implement attachment assembly may be removably coupled to a lift arm when in a non-operating configuration, and removably coupled to the attachment assembly when in an operating configuration.
Implement carrier and implements
Disclosed embodiments include implement carriers and power machines with implement carriers. In some embodiments, the implement carriers have a mounting structure having first and second mounting structure surfaces with first and second pluralities of mounting features located along the first mounting structure surfaces, respectively. Each of the second plurality of mounted features is aligned with one of the first plurality of mounting features. The mounting structure is configured to receive an implement in a first attitude and a second attitude different from the first attitude.
Slope-level-cut bucket
A slope-level-cut bucket for an excavator includes a first bucket half and a second bucket half. The bucket halves are pivotably connected to each other and movable between a closed position and an opened position. Each bucket half has an excavating edge configured to minimize bucket overlap during cutting of a sloped surface. In particular, the excavating edge includes a plurality of steps. The dimensions of the steps are selected to optimize the cutting of a desired slope of the excavating surface.
Attachment assembly for clamping buckets and systems and methods thereof
An attachment assembly configured to be removably coupled between a first jaw and a second jaw of a clamping bucket. The attachment assembly includes a pair of sidewalls spaced from each other in a first direction and at least two structural beams spaced from each other in a second direction. Each of the first sidewall and the second sidewall includes a first connection interface configured to be removably coupled between the front jaw and the rear jaw, a retention arm configured to interconnect to a back surface of the rear jaw, and a second connection interface configured to interface with a working tool. The attachment assembly can also include a reaction arm configured to be arranged adjacent a bottom surface of the front jaw of the clamping bucket.
ATTACHMENT FOR A BUCKET OF A PRIME MOVER
An attachment for use with a bucket of a prime mover comprises a base member having fixed shape in a longitudinal direction of the base member between first and second ends with first and second pivoting members pivotally connected at the first and second ends of the base member, each actuated for pivotal movement about a respective transverse axis by a distinct actuator. The second pivoting member forms a base for releasably receiving different attachment ends such as a secondary arm member carrying a respective pivoting member independently actuated of the base member's pivoting members that is disposed on a secondary arm member end distal to a connection end thereof for connecting to the base member, an extension member without any actuators and pivoting members, and a tool section which is designed for carrying out a specific function.
System and method for providing hydraulic power
A hydraulic system for a machine includes a plurality of hydraulic component, wherein the hydraulic components include hydraulic actuators and hydraulic motors. The hydraulic system also includes a plurality of hydraulic circuits, and a plurality of hydraulic pumps for supplying hydraulic fluid to the plurality of hydraulic components via the hydraulic circuits. At least one hydraulic component receives hydraulic flow exclusively from a designated one of the hydraulic pumps and at least another, different hydraulic component receives shared hydraulic flow from a flow sharing set of the hydraulic pumps.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL GRAPPLE-HEEL COMBINATION DEVICE FOR USE WITH A MANIPULATION MACHINE
A grapple-heel rack having a frame, a grapple, and first and second angle-enabler catches. A grapple attachment (which may be or may include a universal joint) may be used to support the grapple from a nose of the frame. A mechanical grapple return system may be used to return the grapple from a non-neutral position to a neutral position. At least one method for using the grapple-heel rack.
Excavator thumb with structural support
One embodiment of a thumb for an implement of a machine has first and second side plates each having a pivot end for pivotally connecting to a linkage of the machine and an engagement end for engaging with a load. The thumb also has a belly plate extending across a width of the thumb between the first and second side plates and extending along a length of the thumb from the pivot end toward the engagement end. Additionally, the thumb has a thumb support structure disposed closer to the engagement end than to the pivot end. The thumb support structure has a first support plate extending widthwise between the first and second side plates and a second support plate extending widthwise between the first and second side plates and further extending between the first support plate and the belly plate.
