A mining machine includes a boom, a handle coupled to the boom, a dipper coupled to the handle, and a dipper door pivotally coupled to the dipper. The mining shovel also includes a dipper door trip assembly including a trip motor coupled to the boom, a trip drum coupled to the handle, a linkage assembly coupled to the dipper door, a first actuation element extending directly from the trip motor to the trip drum, and a second actuation element extending directly from the trip drum to the linkage assembly.

MINING SHOVEL WITH COMPOSITIONAL SENSORS

A mining shovel with compositional sensors comprises a bucket having various inward looking sensors positioned throughout the bucket. The bucket can also have disposed thereon a control enclosure that houses processing equipment that receives and analyzes the data collected by the inward looking sensors. The mining shovel with compositional sensors can be used as part of a system to manage a mining field, including generating and transmitting instructions directing where to deposit material located in the bucket based on the data collected from the inward looking sensors positioned in the bucket.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE ACTUATION OF A MECHANICAL BUCKET OF A WORKING VEHICLE (WL)

Control method for actuating a loader (WL) comprising an arm (B) to which a bucket (BK) is connected, the method comprising in cyclic execution checks (FB) that a first mono-stable button is depressed, if it is depressed, then execution (Sequence) of the following sequence of operations: unloading, shaking, returning to dig position or if the vehicle is equipped with a 4 in 1 shovel: unloading, 4 in 1 shovel opening, shaking, 4 in 1 shovel closing, returning to dig position, otherwise if the first button (FB) is released then stop (STOP) of the execution of the sequence.

WORK MACHINE DIPPER WITH IMPROVED DIG AND PAYLOAD PERFORMANCE

A dipper for a work machine is disclosed. The dipper may have a front cavity wall forming an inlet which defines a vertical inlet plane, a rear cavity wall opposite the front cavity wall forming an outlet which defines an outlet plane, a top cavity wall extending between front and rear cavity walls defining a horizontal top plane, a bottom cavity wall opposite the top cavity wall defining a bottom plane, and two side cavity walls. The two side cavity walls may further extend between the front and rear cavity wall. The outlet plane may be angled relative to the inlet plane, the bottom plane may be angled relative to the top plane, and the outlet plane is perpendicular to the bottom plane.

LATCHING SYSTEM FOR DIPPER
20220251800 · 2022-08-11 · ·

A latching system associated with a dipper door of a dipper includes a latch bar that engages with a body of the dipper. The latch bar defines a longitudinal axis. The latch bar includes a housing, one or more shims, and a wear member removably coupled to the housing. The wear member defines a wear surface and a wear axis extending parallel to the wear surface. An angle defined between the wear axis and the longitudinal axis is less than 45 degrees. The latching system also includes an arm member pivotally coupled to the dipper door such that the arm member is pivotable along a first pivot plane. The arm member contacts a portion of the latch bar for moving the latch bar along the longitudinal axis. The latching system includes a guide assembly having a guide pulley and an actuation member that causes pivoting of the arm member.

SNUBBER SYSTEM FOR RETARDING SWINGING MOVEMENT OF DOORS OF DIPPERS
20220267983 · 2022-08-25 · ·

A snubber system for retarding a swinging movement of a door with respect to a body of the dipper. The snubber system includes a braking assembly, an arm structure, and a link structure. The braking assembly is configured to be fixedly mounted to the body. The arm structure is configured to execute rotation about a first axis, the rotation of the arm structure being dampened by the braking assembly. The link structure is rotatably coupled to the arm structure to rotate about a second axis, and is movable in correspondence with the swinging movement of the door to exert and transfer a force to the arm structure. A direction of the force defines an angle between 80-100 degrees with respect to an axis or a plane passing through the first axis and the second axis throughout the swinging movement of the door.

ADJUSTABLE LOCKING MECHANISM FOR BUCKET DOOR
20220290400 · 2022-09-15 ·

A locking mechanism for a bucket of the type having a main body defining a cavity and an opening configured for unloading a content of the bucket from the cavity and a door pivotally mounted on the main body, the door movable between a closed position in which the opening is substantially closed by the door and an opened position in which the content may exit the bucket via the opening. The locking mechanism may include a locking mechanism having a latch bar engaged by a lever bar, the lever bar in abutment against a fulcrum, the lever bar movable between a locked position in which the latch bar locks the door in the closed position by engagement with at least one abutment surface on the main body, and an unlocked position in which the latch bar is disengaged from at least one abutment surface to allow movement of the door from the closed position to the opened position. An adjusting mechanism may be operable to move the fulcrum relative to the door to vary an overlap of the latch bar with the at least one abutment surface.

MULTIPURPOSE BUCKET

A multipurpopse bucket comprising a front section and a rear section rotatably coupled with the front section. As such, the bucket is configured to transition from a closed position to an open position. The bucket further comprises a single actuator configured to transition the bucket between the closed position and the open position. The actuator is centrally positioned with respect to a width of the bucket.
