WORK DEVICE
The invention relates to a work device having a body with an attachment arrangement to attach the work device to a set of booms of a work machine. A pair of jaws fitted to the body includes two jaws arranged to form a grab. A first jaw is fixed to the body and a second jaw is pivoted rotatably to the body to open and close the grab. The rotatable jaw is arranged to be acted on by a hydraulic actuator, to open and close the grab. Between the hydraulic actuator and the rotatable jaw is a wide-angle pivot setup. An arm mechanism, equipped with two pivots fitted to a jaw arm is arranged to belong to the wide-angle pivot setup. In addition, the wide-angle pivot setup is arranged to include a rotatable lever arm fitted between the jaw arm and the body. The rotation angle of the movement created in the rotatable jaw by the wide-angle pivot setup has a magnitude of more than 120°.

Attachments for excavators and the like for improved gripping, handling, and processing of materials and debris are provided having one or more work surfaces to provide enhanced material handling characteristics.
CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR AN EXCAVATOR AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING AN EXCAVATOR WITH A MOVABLE EXCAVATOR THUMB AND AN AUXILIARY TOOL HOLD BY AN TILTROTATOR
A control system for an excavator, the excavator comprising a movable arm, a movable excavator thumb and a tiltrotator attached to the arm, the tiltrotator being arranged to hold an auxiliary tool which is rotatable and/or tiltable by means of the tiltrotator. The control system is arranged to control the tiltrotator to rotate and/or tilt the auxiliary tool between a plurality of first positions and at least one second position. The excavator thumb is movable between at least one rest position and a plurality of work positions. The auxiliary tool is arranged to cooperate with the excavator thumb when the auxiliary tool is positioned in any of the at least one second position and when the excavator thumb is positioned in any of the plurality of work positions. The control system comprises a first blocker arranged to block the movement of the excavator thumb when the auxiliary tool is positioned in any of the plurality of first positions.
Removable Tool Assembly For Construction Machines
The invention relates to a removable tool assembly for a backhoe digging apparatus of a construction equipment machine having spaced apart parallel first and second fastening pins, said removable tool assembly including an attachment mechanism for releasably attaching said removable tool assembly onto the backhoe digging apparatus, the attachment mechanism including:—a first attachment element having first receiving areas adapted to receive the first fastening pin, and—a second attachment element having second receiving areas adapted to receive the second fastening pin, wherein the second attachment element is movable relative to the first attachment element between a first position, in which the first and second fastening pins can be removed from the first and second receiving areas.
CLAMSHELL BUCKET ASSEMBLY
A dredging bucket having a head subassembly including an inner rotatable head and an outer head angularly supported by the inner head between level and tilted orientations. First and second opposing bucket halves supported by the outer head and pivotally actuating between closed and opened positions. A pair of T-links incorporated into spaced apart and coaxial pivot locations defined between the bucket halves, each of the T-links having a central stopping bar which, upon the bucket halves rotating to a maximum degree associated with the opened position, contacting end locations defined in upper edge profiles of the bucket halves in order to prevent further opening rotation.
Hydraulic Drive System for Work Machine
A hydraulic drive system includes a swing directional control valve 81 and a third boom directional control valve 82 that are connected to a third hydraulic pump 33. Furthermore, the hydraulic drive system includes: a second auxiliary directional control valve 84 that is connected to the third hydraulic pump 33, and is connectable with a second special hydraulic actuator 64 for driving special attachments; and a first selector valve 96 that is connected to the third hydraulic pump 33 upstream of the second auxiliary directional control valve 84, and is connectable with an additional hydraulic pump 97. The first selector valve 96 switches the hydraulic fluid source of the second special hydraulic actuator 64 connected to the second auxiliary directional control valve 84 at least between the third hydraulic pump 33 and the additional hydraulic pump 97. Operability for combined operation of a special attachment can be improved in the hydraulic drive system equipped in advance with an auxiliary directional control valve that is connectable with an additional hydraulic actuator for driving the special attachment.
EXCAVATOR MOUNTED HEAD AND ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPORTING AND ANGULARLY ADJUSTING A CLAMSHELL STYLE BUCKET ASSEMBLY DURING SUCH AS A DREDGING OPERATION
A tilt adjustable head attachment assembly for a clamshell style bucket for orienting first and second bucket halves at an angle relative to a length axis extending through an elongated and rigid attachment associated with a piece of power equipment, for supporting and manipulating the bucket. A frame has a three dimensional body, upwardly extending pillar mounts located at upper ends of the body and incorporating support shafts for receiving overlapping hinged locations associated with support arms for each of the first and second clamshell bucket halves. A platen is positioned pivotally arranged between the pillar mounts and includes an upper location engaged by an end projection of the elongated attachment. A cylinder is connected to a fixed underside location of the frame at a first end and to the platen at a second end and, upon being actuated, pivotally displacing the platen to in turn angle the frame and supported clamshell bucket halves relative to the excavator attachment according to a desired orientation.
Intelligent mechanical linkage performance system
A work machine having a controller configured to receive a first position signal from a first boom position sensor, a second position signal from a second boom position sensor, and a load signal from the load measuring device, wherein the controller is further configured to calculate a map of hydraulic capacities within an envelope of movement for one or more of a first and a second actuators based on the first position signal, the second position signal, and the load signal, and generate a lift path of movement for the pin through at least a portion of the envelope based on the hydraulic capacities, wherein the movement envelope being smaller than the envelope.
