A panel may be configured with panel mounts by forming a panel connector accepting slot in the panel and then locating connector mounts in the slot. In another embodiment, a panel may be configured with panel connector mounts by milling a panel to leave areas of panel material which form the mounts and milling the panel behind to connector mounts to define areas for accepting portions of the panel connector. Panels having the defined connector mounts may be connected by one or more panel connectors which engage the connector mounts.

STRUCTURAL SUPPORT AND ASSEMBLY OF STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS

A structural support includes a first side-wall, a second side-wall, a first planar wall, and a second planar wall. The structural support further includes internal walls that are disposed between the first side-wall and the second side wall, and extend from a first inner surface of the first planar wall to a second inner surface of the second planar wall. The first side-wall, the second side-wall, the first planar wall, and the second planar wall define connector components. The internal walls define a plurality of channels between the connector components.

STRUCTURAL MODULAR BUILDING PANEL, WALL, AND BUILDING SYSTEM

This invention relates to prefabricated, lightweight, multi-component structural modular building panels and modular building systems. The said panels are framed with edge members that have a unique connecting shape, making them modular. The multi-component panel allows for design flexibility and the mass manufacturing of its components. Connectors serve as a link to assemble the panels together, and to connect them to corners, floors or foundations, roof panels and the roof apex member, and or other conventional construction elements. Connectors and members, all with unique connecting shapes, coupled with the said panels, create a structural wall, roof, similar structure or building system. Assembled panels and members incorporate the primary building structure and the building envelope. The assembled panels, members and other components of the building system, in part or whole, can be flat packed for easy transport and shipping, and can be assembled quickly and easily with semi-skilled labor.

Modular construction system and method of use thereof

A modular construction system, including, first and second walls, each having first and second broad surfaces. Each wall includes throughgoing connector-receiving bores. The modular construction system further includes a connector including a longitudinal body portion arranged along a longitudinal axis and having a first width. A head portion of the longitudinal body portion includes a base surface having a second width in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. A pair of protrusions extend outwardly from the longitudinal body portion and are disposed between the base surface and a tail end of the longitudinal body portion. The protrusions include an engagement surface facing toward the base surface and having a third width, the third width being greater than the first width.

A method for preventing collisions in a physical environment for multiple players playing in a virtual reality environment comprises creating a plurality of virtual reality areas with respect to a physical environment. Each of the plurality of players are established as an active player in one of the plurality of virtual reality areas. Each of the plurality of players have an active player avatar mapped into a single virtual reality area of the plurality of virtual reality areas. Each of the plurality of players have a non-active player avatar mapped into each of the plurality of virtual reality areas where the user does not have an active player avatar. The active player avatars and the non-active player avatars are displayed in each of the plurality of virtual reality areas. A single avatar is present in each of the plurality of virtual reality areas for each of the plurality of players.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING MULTIPLE USER GROUPS WITHIN A SINGLE VIRTUAL REALITY PLAY AREA

A system for controlling player movement within a fixed virtual reality play area includes a plurality of panels defining an X by Y virtual reality play area, a transport area associated with the X by Y virtual reality play area and a virtual reality system. The virtual reality system displays a virtual reality environment to players. The virtual reality system divides the X by Y virtual reality play area defined by the plurality of panels into a plurality of virtual reality environment play areas. Each of the plurality of virtual reality environment areas comprises a portion of the virtual reality play area. The virtual reality system associates a first virtual reality player group with a first virtual reality environment play area of the plurality of virtual reality environment play areas and associates a second virtual reality player group with a second virtual reality environment play area of the plurality of virtual reality environment play areas. The first and second virtual reality player groups include at least one player member. The virtual reality system determines if the second virtual reality environment play area has been vacated by the second virtual reality player group. If the second virtual reality player group has not vacated the second virtual reality environment play area, the virtual reality system prevents entry of the first virtual reality player group into the second virtual reality environment play area from the first virtual reality environment play area. If the second virtual reality player group has vacated the second virtual reality environment play area, the virtual reality system enables entry of the first virtual reality player group into the second virtual reality environment play area from the first virtual reality environment play area.
