MODULAR SYSTEM
The invention relates to a modular system (10) for structuring or shaping spaces, surfaces, or the like, comprising a component assembly, which comprises at least two modular elements (12) and at least one connecting element (14, 15, 16), said modular element being designed as a box-shaped body, whose base has at least three corners, each corner forming a connecting structure for connecting the modular element to a connecting element, said connecting structure being designed as an arc-shaped contour of the corner together with a void adjacent to the contour, said connecting element forming a pin for each of the connecting structures to be connected, said pin being designed congruent with the void and in such a manner that the pin can be interlockingly inserted into the void, said connecting element forming a positioning device for positioning the connecting element on the modular element, said positioning device comprising an axis, said axis being designed congruent with the contour and in such a manner that the axis can be arranged on the contour.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTERCONNECTING STRUCTURAL PANELS
Building or structural panels may be joined, such as to form walls or floors. The panels may be connected in various orientations via one or more connectors. The connectors may mount to anchors associated with the panels. The panels may have outer skins located over an expanded core comprising a matrix of supporting elongate members and voids or openings, with the anchors located at edges of the panels.
Connector and building system
A building system including a plurality of building panel members having elongated slots upon a top surface and four side surfaces thereof, and a plurality connector members having a bowtie cross-sectional shape and adapted to slidably and snugly fit within the elongated slots to thereby releasably connect the plurality of building panel members together to form a variety of structures.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTERCONNECTING STRUCTURAL PANELS
A panel may be configured with panel mounts by forming a panel connector accepting slot in the panel and then locating connector mounts in the slot. In another embodiment, a panel may be configured with panel connector mounts by milling a panel to leave areas of panel material which form the mounts and milling the panel behind to connector mounts to define areas for accepting portions of the panel connector. Panels having the defined connector mounts may be connected by one or more panel connectors which engage the connector mounts.

WOOD-CONCRETE COMPOSITE SLAB HAVING A PLANAR WOOD ELEMENT, METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF SAME, AND CONSTRUCTIONS HAVING SUCH A WOOD-CONCRETE COMPOSITE SLAB
A wood-concrete composite slab having a planar wood element, by means of which spans with little dependence upon the relative inherent weight of the slab are achieved. The slab layer construction includes a wood layer, an insulating layer, and a concrete layer. In one embodiment, the layer construction is interrupted by at least one bearing means, in that this bearing means traverses at least the concrete layer and the insulating layer and extends downward at least as far as the wood layer. In a different embodiment, for a high level of soundproofing, the slab comprises in its insulating layer two different-density insulating materials, wherein the denser insulating material rests directly on the wood layer, acting as a vibration damping means. In a further embodiment, the wooden panels of the wood-concrete composite slab that form the planar wood element are tensioned against one another in order to convey tensile forces therethrough.
Method for preventing user collision while playing in a virtual reality environment
A system for generating a virtual reality environment includes a mocap suit having a plurality of sensors for generating at least one mocap suit output responsive to movement of an individual within the mocap suit within the virtual reality environment. At least one virtual reality player headset generates at least one virtual reality headset output responsive to actions of a player within the virtual reality environment. A virtual reality controller receives the at least one mocap suit output and the at least one virtual reality headset output and generates the virtual reality environment for display in the at least one virtual reality player headset. The virtual reality controller selectively generates an avatar associated with the mocap suit responsive to the at least one mocap suit output. The avatar being selectively inserted into the virtual reality world responsive to a first input and selectively removed from the virtual reality environment responsive to a second input.
Method of configuring walls
A method of configuring a modular wall having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The modular wall system is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the walls system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the interface connection, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged wall system.
