MODULAR PARTITION SYSTEM
A modular partition system comprises a plurality of panels and at least one connecting strip. Each of the plurality of panels comprises two support members extending generally perpendicularly to a plane of the modular partition system and a central panel extending between said two support panels. The plurality of panels are arranged such that the central panels of each of the plurality of panels are generally mutually parallel and one support member of each of the plurality of panels is adjacent to a support member of an adjacent panel. The at least one connecting strip cooperates with a support member from each of two of the plurality of adjacent panels so as to connect said two of the plurality of adjacent panels.
REINFORCED BEAM SYSTEM
A reinforced beam system comprises at least one pair of angularly spaced, corner-connected beams configured with two oppositely oriented triangular closed head portions, and a web interposed between head portions; a plurality of reinforcement elements forcibly contacting an interior wall of the corresponding head portion; and for each pair, at least one angled connector. A first leg of the angled connector abuts the flange of a second head portion of the first beam and is connected to a first reinforcement element inserted within the second head portion of the first beam, and a second leg of the angled connector abuts the flange of a first head portion of the second beam and is connected to a second reinforcement element inserted within both the first head portion of the second beam and a first head portion of the first beam. A beam system in one embodiment is devoid of reinforcement elements.
STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT
The present invention relates to a boss 1000 for assembly with a part, the boss 1000 having a roughened portion for engaging a face of the part. The present invention also relates to a kit of parts, or an assembly, comprising such a boss 1000, and a bolt, a kit of parts, or an assembly, comprising such a boss 1000, and said part, preferably wherein the part is a strengthening member, and a method of structurally reinforcing a girder, the method comprising determining a section of the girder that requires strengthening and fastening to the girder a strengthening member without removing said section.
Two-piece track system
A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.
ARBITRARILY CURVED SUPPORT STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a method for producing a support structure having a three-dimensional geometry curved in any manner, made of at least one first and one second flat material piece, wherein the geometry has curves in three directions that are orthogonal to one another, with the following steps: A. preparing the desired geometry B. approximating the desired geometry C. subdividing the geometry D. defining at least one clearance region E. defining a plurality of connection points arranged on the at least one first and one second part F. defining chamfered edges extending between the polygonal cross-sections G. developing the at least one first and one second part H. cutting to length at least one first and one second flat material piece I. chamfering J. connecting the at least one chamfered first material piece and the at least one chamfered second material piece.
Elongate structural element, a bracket and an elongate structural section
There is disclosed an elongate structural element (10). The element (10) includes an inner plate (12) having first and second opposing planar surfaces (14, 16). The element (10) further includes first and second outer sections (18, 18). Each of the outer sections (18, 18) comprises a central wall (20) having a pair of longitudinal grooves (32, 34). Each of the outer sections (18, 18) further comprises a pair of side walls (22, 24) extending from the central wall (20) to define a generally U-shaped channel (30). The longitudinal grooves (32, 34) depress into the U-shaped channel (30). Each of the outer sections (18, 18) further comprises a pair of flanges (26, 28) respectively extending outwardly from the pair of side walls (22, 24). The flanges (26, 28) of the first outer section (18) are attached to the first planar surface (14) of the plate (12) and the flanges (26, 28) of the second outer section (18) are attached to the second planar surface (16) of the plate (12) such that the U-shaped channels (30) are substantially closed by the inner plate (12) and opposed to each other.
Structural member assembly and support structures comprising same
A structural member can comprise a first channel member and a second channel member that are disposed with respect to each other so that their respective channels cooperate to define an interior passage. An inner member can be disposed within the interior passage and couple to each of the first channel member and the second channel member. At least one of the inner member's longitudinal ends can be offset from the respective longitudinal ends of the first channel member and the second channel member.
Tower section for a truss tower, a truss tower, a truss tower assembly, and use of such section, tower and tower assembly
A tower section is for a truss tower. The tower section has three or more elongated corner beams arranged in parallel and spaced apart, and a plurality of transverse beams connected perpendicular to adjacent corner beams, thereby forming respective three or more sides. The transverse beams are distributed along the sides so that the transverse beams of one of the side are arranged offset to the transverse beams of the other sides.
Multi-Orientable strut channel support system
A strut channel support system including a first brace, a second brace, and a fastening mechanism connects at least two channel struts in a multi-orientable fashion. The first brace and the second brace both possess a U-shaped channel, a base, a fastener-engagement point, and a strut-engagement point. The base is terminally connected to the U-shaped channel, the fastener-engagement point is centrally integrated into the base, and the strut-attachment feature is integrated into the U-shaped channel. This permits the base to retain the rear portion of a strut channel. The U-shaped channel perimetrically braces the lateral sides of the strut channel. The first brace and the second brace attach to each other via the fastener-engagement point. The fastener-engagement point of the first brace and the fastener-engagement point of the second brace are mechanically coupled to each other. This enables a user to adjust the orientation between at least two strut channels.
