Structural joists and methods to manufacture the same
A joist is disclosed. The joist includes a first leg portion, a second leg portion, and a central portion, wherein each of the first leg portion and the second leg portion define a first side, a second side, and a distal side, a first lap portion and a second lap portion located at the central portion, and one or more stiffener defined within each of the first side, the second side, and the distal side of the first leg portion and the second leg portion.
FORMWORK SUPPORT COMPRISING A HOLLOW PROFILE WEB, STIFFENED BY AN INTERNAL FRAMEWORK, AS A FLANGE CONNECTOR
The invention relates to a formwork support (10) for supporting concrete formworks in the construction sector, comprising an upper flange (12) and a lower flange (14), which are connected to one another via a hollow profile web (16) such that they are at an invariant distance in relation to one another, wherein the hollow profile web (16) is stiffened inside by framework struts (28a, 28b).
Reinforced beam system
A reinforced beam system comprises at least one pair of angularly spaced, corner-connected beams configured with two oppositely oriented triangular closed head portions, and a web interposed between head portions; a plurality of reinforcement elements forcibly contacting an interior wall of the corresponding head portion; and for each pair, at least one angled connector. A first leg of the angled connector abuts the flange of a second head portion of the first beam and is connected to a first reinforcement element inserted within the second head portion of the first beam, and a second leg of the angled connector abuts the flange of a first head portion of the second beam and is connected to a second reinforcement element inserted within both the first head portion of the second beam and a first head portion of the first beam. A beam system in one embodiment is devoid of reinforcement elements.
Hollow profile
A hollow profile (1, 15), in particular crane girder for a crane (14), wherein the hollow profile (1, 15) has a cavity (2) and an outer wall (3) bounding the cavity (2), and at least one fastening element (4) protruding from the outer wall (3) for the, preferably re-releasable, fastening of at least one add-on part (5) to the hollow profile (1, 15), wherein the outer wall (3) has at least one passage opening (6), which opens into the cavity (2), for the fastening element (4), and an intermediate space between that portion (36) of the outer wall (3) which bounds the passage opening (6) and the fastening element (4) which is guided through the passage opening (6) is sealed with a sealing compound (7).
MODULAR PARTITION SYSTEM
A modular partition system comprises a plurality of panels and at least one connecting strip. Each of the plurality of panels comprises two support members extending generally perpendicularly to a plane of the modular partition system and a central panel extending between said two support panels. The plurality of panels are arranged such that the central panels of each of the plurality of panels are generally mutually parallel and one support member of each of the plurality of panels is adjacent to a support member of an adjacent panel. The at least one connecting strip cooperates with a support member from each of two of the plurality of adjacent panels so as to connect said two of the plurality of adjacent panels.
RAILWAY TRUCK ASSEMBLY HAVING I-BEAM COMPONENTS
A truck assembly is configured to travel along a track having rails, and includes a first side frame, a second side frame, and a bolster extending between the first side frame and the second side frame. One or more of the first side frame, the second frame, or the bolster includes at least a portion formed as an I-beam that includes a web having a first end and a second end opposite from the first end, a first flange extending from the first end of the web, and a second flange extending from the second end of the web. A thickness of the web increases away from a first neutral axis towards the first flange and the second flange.
EXTRUSION PROFILE FOR MODULAR STRUCTURAL APPLICATIONS AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
The present disclosure concerns an extrusion profile extending comprising: parallel and spaced-apart upper and lower panel members; and an inner core between the upper and lower panel members, the inner core being integral with and connecting the upper and lower panel members, the inner core comprising first and second curved connecting members having a concave side and the concave sides defining first and second concavities opened outwardly, each of the connecting members merging smoothly with each of the panel members in upper and lower panel-connecting portions of the inner core, the panel-connecting portions being offset inwardly with respect to the panel members to define assembling clearances in marginal edge regions of the upper and lower panel members. It also concerns a method for assembling a panel structure comprising a plurality of extrusion profiles and a corresponding modular structural assembly.
HIGH STRENGTH GRID MEMBER FOR SUSPENDED CEILINGS
A high-strength grid member is provided that comprises two standard Tee-shaped grid members that are vertically aligned to form an I-beam configuration with the strengthening bulbs of each being spaced apart. A plurality of clips is secured to the spaced-apart bulbs by means of fasteners to secure the two grid members together.
