Customizable cladding system and method
A customizable cladding system is provided. The customizable cladding system includes one or more base plates designed to be attached to a support structure (e.g., a fence post, wall, etc.). The base plates include attachment mechanisms extending outward from their front surfaces. Cladding plates, including corresponding attachment mechanisms on their back sides, are then removable coupled to the base plates to form a customizable cladding. The structure of the customizable cladding may be modified at any time by removing the cladding plates and reconfiguring them with the base plates as desired.
Snap-together standoffs for restoring, repairing, reinforcing, protecting, insulating and/or cladding structures
A method covers at least a portion of a surface of an existing structure with a repair structure. The method comprises: providing a standoff, the standoff elongated in a longitudinal direction and operable from an open configuration to a closed configuration; while the standoff is in the open configuration, mounting the standoff to the existing structure, such that the standoff projects outwardly away from the surface of the existing structure; closing the standoff to the closed configuration, the closing of the standoff forming a standoff connector; and coupling a cladding panel to the standoff by engaging the panel with the standoff connector at a location spaced outwardly apart from the surface of the existing structure by a void.
LAMELLA WALL SYSTEM
A lamella fixing system includes: at least one supporting profile; at least one lamella comprising a groove; and at least one connector clip for interconnecting the lamella and the supporting profile, wherein the connector clip is made of a steel sheet includes a planar, longitudinal part, at least one rearward folded part for attachment to the supporting profile, and at least one forward folded part for attachment to the lamella groove. The supporting profile is provided with a depression or an opening, such as a slit, in a front flange, and the connector clip is provided with at least one further rearward folded part configured to engage with the depression or opening, such as a slit, of the supporting profile.
Facade unit mounting apparatus
A facade unit mounting apparatus is disclosed. A first support attaches to a wall and includes a first base extending outwardly from the wall. The first support includes a plurality of resilient elements mounted to the first base which include a plurality of projections extending from the first base. A second support is configured to attach to the wall. The first and second supports grip at least one facade unit mounted between the first and second supports. The plurality of resilient elements are configured to bias the at least one facade unit against the second support. The plurality of projections are configured to extend inwardly and away from the first base to thereby grip the at least one facade unit against outward movement from the wall. Disclosed embodiments are suitable to interface with facade units such as brick slips, other fired clay units, masonry units, tiles, etc.
FIRE-SAFE WALL CLADDING
This disclosure relates to a wall cladding, including: a supporting structure; a safety supporting structure; wall cladding elements; at least one structure attachment element made of plastic; at least one cladding attachment element per wall cladding element, where the cladding attachment element forms part of the wall cladding element or is attached thereto and is couplable to the structure attachment element; at least one safety attachment element per wall cladding element, where the safety attachment element forms part of the wall cladding element or is attached thereto; and at least one safety element per wall cladding element, where the safety element is designed to be fire-resistant, is attachable to the safety supporting structure, and is attachable to the safety attachment element.
Modular wall covering system
A modular wall overlay system for installation on a support surface includes a frame; and a cover securely retained on the frame by a tensioning system whereby the cover is free of direct attachment to the frame but rather is retained under tension on the frame by the tensioning system. The frame includes a plurality of frame pieces and a plurality of corner brackets. The frame pieces are directly coupled to respective corner brackets but are free of direct coupling to one another.
Clip Linkage
A clip linkage is disclosed comprising clips to restrict relative parallel displacement between a panel and a back surface. The clip linkage is set intermediate the panel and the back surface so as to be hidden. The clip linkage is particularly useful for holding a panel to a back surface having a corner such as a corner of a wall or ceiling.
Overlay cover and tensioning mechanism for a modular wall overlay system
A modular wall overlay system for installation on a support surface includes a frame; a cover that is securely, yet detachably, retained on and along a front face of the frame by a tensioning mechanism that is configured to tension the cover; and elastic corner inserts that are disposed in corners of the frame and include curved outer surfaces that are configured to permit the cover to be stretched over the elastic corner inserts creating radiused corners and preventing tearing of the cover in corners thereof when the cover is tensioned by the tensioning mechanism.
Customizable inner frame and lighting for a modular wall overlay system
A modular wall overlay system for installation on a support surface includes an outer frame having a pair of opposing ends and a pair of opposing sides and a customizable inner frame that is coupled to the outer frame. The inner frame includes a plurality of transverse supports that extend between the opposing sides and a plurality of longitudinal supports that extend between the opposing ends. The longitudinal supports and the transverse supports lie in a common plane defined within the outer frame. The system further includes a cover that is securely retained on the outer frame.
Finishing panel fixing device
The present invention relates to a finishing panel fixing device, and more particularly, to a finishing panel fixing device that fixes a finishing panel so that the finishing panel can be stably fixed when installing the finishing panel for finishing an indoor or outdoor wall surface or a floor. The finishing panel fixing device according to the present invention is extremely simple to assemble and install, and thus can reduce the time required for assembly, installation, and disassembly. The finishing panel fixing device also enhances fixability with respect to the finishing panel so that movement of the finishing panel due to an external force is prevented, and thus can also be applied to the finishing of an outdoor wall. The finishing panel fixing device can also facilitate maintenance.
