COVER CLIPS FOR SUB-GIRTS IN EXTERIOR WALL SYSTEM ASSEMBLIES
20250270818 · 2025-08-28 · ·

Embodiments of the invention relate to clips for mounting on a support rail or sub-girt (such as an FRP sub-girt) and wall system assemblies that include such clips. An embodiment of the clip includes a first arm portion, a second arm portion, a connecting ledge connecting the first arm portion to the second arm portion, and a retaining arm portion connected to the second arm portion such that a retention cavity is defined between the retaining arm portion and the second arm portion. The clip may be mounted on a sub-girt at a mounting location such that a flange of the sub-girt resides in the retention cavity of the clip and such that the connecting ledge of the clip seats on a support surface of the sub-girt. When so mounted, the second arm portion of the clip covers the entirety of the outer surface of the flange and the retaining arm portion of the clip covers at least a portion of the inner surface of the flange such that both the second arm portion and the retaining arm portion are available-along with the sub-girt flange-to receive a fastener. When so mounted, the first arm portion of the clip is available to help retain an insulation layer in a wall system assembly.

FACADE PANEL FASTENING SYSTEM

A fastening arrangement for connecting a faade panel and a panel holder is provided. The faade panel is a panel with a homogeneous structure; with a front side, a material layer and a rear side. A keyhole-shaped groove is provided on the rear side of the facade panel having a widened insertion opening and a retaining area with an undercut in the material layer. The mechanical connection between the facade panel and the panel holder is a riveted connection using a rivet with a mushroom-shaped head inserted through the insertion opening and into the undercut of the retaining area. The panel holder is pushed onto a free end of the rivet shank that extends out via a through-opening so that the panel holder rests on the cover panel. The rivet shank free end is then formed by a rivet setting tool to create a positive fit between the composite panel and the panel holder.

Facade fastening system having profile elements

A profile element for attachment to the rear side of a faade panel, which in turn is fastened to a base such as a building surface or substructure. The profile element is formed in one piece and includes three functional sections arranged one after another: a fixing section for fixing the profile element to a base; a support section for attachment to the faade panel; and a spacer element which, in the installed state, ensures the correct distance between the base and the rear side of the faade panel. The profile element is extendible by a supplementary element, which has functionally similar elements and is only used if required by the geometry of the faade panel. The supplementary element is usable for positive connection to the profile element of an adjacent faade panel. Such a faade system provides flexibility for a wide variety of types and dimensions of faade panels.

MODULAR WALL STRUCTURE

The modular wall structure comprises multiple primary frames (10) for carrying cladding elements (11) and building service devices (12); a secondary frame (20) for supporting the primary frames (10); and a moving system for moving each primary frame (10) with respect to the secondary frame (20) in six degrees of freedom. The moving system comprises at least three moving units (40) for each primary frame (10). Each moving unit (40) comprises a housing (50) attached to the primary frame (10); a spherical joint bushing (61) inside the housing (50), wherein said joint bushing (61) can be translated parallel to the plane of the primary frame (10); a first drive unit (72) attached to the primary frame (10) for moving the ball joint bushing relative to the housing (50) along a first direction (x) by means of a first shaft (70); a second drive unit (82) attached to the primary frame (10) for moving the ball joint bushing relative to the housing (50) along a second direction (y) perpendicular to the first direction (x) through a second axis (80); and a third drive unit (92) attached to the secondary frame (20) for moving the ball joint bushing relative to the secondary frame (20) in a third direction (z) perpendicular to both the first direction (x) and the second direction (y), through a third shaft. A free end of the first shaft (70) is slidably mounted into a first guide groove of the ball joint bushing, said first guide groove (62) extending in the second direction (y). A free end of the second shaft is slidably mounted in a second guide groove of the ball joint bushing, said second guide groove extending in the first direction (x). A free end of the third shaft is mounted into a ball joint rotatably arranged in said ball joint bushing.

Module for a wall including a frame for supporting a faade panel on a supporting structure, the frame including a male section with an elongate strip on one edge and a female section with a groove to receive a strip of an adjoining module.

Wall panel clip

A wall panel system having a wall panel clip disposed between a first wall extended portion and a second wall panel recessed portion. The wall panel clip including a first web member and a second web member extending at an angle from the first web member. The first web member and the second web member have a first end portion, a second end portion and a middle portion. The wall panel clip further includes a through hole extending through each of the middle portion of the first web member and the first and second end portion of the second web member. The wall panel system further includes an internal fastener configured to connect at least one of first end portion or the second end portion to a portion of the second wall panel and the second wall panel to a building support structure.
