Curtain wall system, corner bracket for curtain wall system, and associated method
In certain embodiments, a curtain wall system comprises first and second curtain wall member supporting apparatuses and a corner latching apparatus. The first and second supporting apparatuses each have a respective: vertically-disposed member; horizontally-disposed supporting member; and locking member coupled to the vertically-disposed member. The locking member is disposed beneath a lower surface of the horizontally-disposed supporting member. The corner latching apparatus has a corner shape and comprises a first horizontally-disposed latching arm oriented in a first direction and adapted to engage with the locking member of the first supporting apparatus. The corner latching apparatus comprises a second horizontally-disposed latching arm oriented in a second direction and a stabilizing resilient member disposed beneath a lower surface of each of the first and second horizontally-disposed latching arms, at least a portion of the stabilizing resilient member adapted to compress against an upper surface of a curtain wall member.
Single extrusion panel system
A device for mounting a cladding member to a facade utilizing a support. The support includes an appendage that engages an anchor connected to the facade. Sliding engagement of the appendage with the anchor permits the support and connected cladding member to move with the thermal contraction and expansion of the cladding member and support.
Wall cladding system and method
A wall cladding system includes a vertical support, a horizontal support, and a panel. The panel has a peripheral edge that abuts a first side surface of the vertical support and a top surface of the horizontal support. In various examples, a portion of the vertical support overlaps a portion of the horizontal support.
Rib mounting device with pivoting insert
A mounting device (100) for installation on a hollow rib of a panel is disclosed. The mounting device (100) includes a mounting body (102), an insert (160), and at least one clamping fastener (180). The mounting body (102) includes an upper section or base (104), along with a first leg (112) and a second leg (122) that each extend downwardly from the base (104) in at least generally diverging relation to one another. The first leg (112) includes a first projection (116) positionable in a recess on one sidewall of a rib, while the insert (160) includes a second projection (164) positionable in a recess on the opposite sidewall of this same rib. The clamping fastener(s) (180) extends through the second leg (122) of the mounting body (102) and forces the insert (160) in the direction of the first leg (112) of the mounting body (102).
Apparatus for mounting a plurality of panels to a facade
An improved apparatus for mounting first and second panels to a faade utilizing a base fixed to the faade. The base member mates with a fastener and holds a pair of supports outwardly from the base member. The first and second panels mount to the pair of supports and also hold a reveal strip located beneath a gap between the first and second panels.
Tile system for suspended ceiling and wall, and method
A tile system for use on a grid of a suspended ceiling comprises a plurality of tiles, each said tile having a main body having an exposed side and a concealed side, the exposed side defining a main surface, the concealed side defining a rear plane, and four side surfaces between the exposed side and the concealed side of the main body, wherein two of the four side surfaces have at least one tongue in the rear plane, and two other of the four side surfaces have at least one groove open to the rear plane. Fasteners, such as clips, are configured for attaching the tongues of one of the tiles to upside-down T channels of the grid, such that the rear plane of the tile is against a downwardly facing surface of the T channels of the grid. The tiles are arranged such that, for a pair of the tiles side by side and sharing a same channel, one of the tiles has its at least one tongue connected to the channel by said fasteners, and the other of the tiles has its at least one groove receiving the at least one tongue of the adjacent tile. A method of installation is also provided.
Double return panel system
A double return panel system utilizing a perimeter extrusion having an arm terminating in an end portion configured to contact and twice bend a panel. The panel fits into a slot formed adjacent the arm. The perimeter extrusion is held to a facade by a base member.
Solar cell module installation structure, house, and solar cell module
The present invention provides a solar cell module installation structure that can be installed on a wall surface of a building, and provides a house and a solar cell module. A support member has a support surface that spreads out substantially in a vertical direction. A locking piece of the support member has: a locking part that faces the support surface at an interval and extends upward; and a connection part that connect the locking part and the support surface. A frame member of the solar cell module has: a holding recess that sandwiches a part of a main body panel of the solar cell module and is in contact with a light receiving surface and a back surface of the main body panel; and a mounting part that is provided on a back surface side of the main body panel, has higher rigidity than the main body panel, has a length longer than or equal to of one side of the main body panel, and extends in the vertical direction. A mounting-side engagement part of the mounting part is a notch that is provided in a lower end part and has a depth extending upward in the vertical direction. The support member is configured to support the solar cell module such that the locking part is inserted in the mounting-side engagement part and such that the solar cell module can be inclined with an inclination angle more than or equal to 10 degrees with respect to the support surface.
