Double return panel system
A double return panel system utilizing a perimeter extrusion having an arm terminating in an end portion configured to contact and twice bend a panel. The panel fits into a slot formed adjacent the arm. The perimeter extrusion is held to a facade by a base member.
BUILDING-INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM
Described is a structurally and aesthetically superior building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) system for converting solar energy into usable electric energy. The layered BIPV system is comprised of an antireflective coating, at least one substrate, at least one solar cell, an anchoring element, stone lamina back rails, an exterior side, an interior side, and adhesives or fasteners. A substrate thereof has a visible stone, glass, or other aesthetic feature. The layered BIPV system may also include an insulation layer, an inert gas fill, a fire-resistant seal, or a transparent intumescent coat. The layered BIPV system exhibits desirable structural properties with respect to structural pressure resistance, water penetration, air penetration, missile impact resistance, cyclic pressure loading resistance, flexural strength, compressive strength, shear strength, tensile strength, and fire resistance and complies with building code standards for the same.
MAGNESIUM-OXIDE WALL TILES FOR MODULAR WALL SYSTEMS
A magnesium-oxide wall tile for use in a modular wall system includes a plurality of layers. The plurality of layers includes an inner core comprising magnesium-oxide and having a length and a height and a front face and a back face. plurality of layers also includes a thermofoil layer disposed over at least one face of the inner core.
Apparatus for shielding a structure from bullets and method of use
Apparatus for shielding a structure from bullets is disclosed. The structure includes an outside wall which has a vertical stud. The apparatus includes a prefabricated panel which has an armor plate having a front side and an opposite rear side. An exterior finish substructure is connected to the front side. After fabrication, the prefabricated panel is transported to the structure and connected to the vertical stud of the outside wall of the structure.
Modular Type Shading Facade
A modular shading facade spaced from a building wall includes multiple decorative modules. Each module is formed by a rigid frame with outwardly extending legs connected to the frame by multiple receiving brackets. Each receiving bracket has a base and a stepped region formed by two angle shaped parts disposed at an angle to each other to define an open space for receiving the respective leg. A primary bracket is defined by a base with a primary socket attached to the base for inserting said legs. The primary bracket is connected to a facade frame.
Adjustable hanger system for modular panels
A hanger system includes an adjustable panel hanger. The adjustable panel hanger includes a connector member, a base member configured to removably attach to the connector member and to clamp onto a support member, wherein the base member includes a base flange, and a hanger member adjustably affixable on the base flange. Optionally, the hanger system may further include a modular panel connectable to the base member via the hanger member.
Architectural materials having integrated energy storage system
The present invention is generally directed to energy storage systems comprising manufactured architectural materials having electrical battery systems embedded therein. The manufactured materials are generally provided as architectural panels, such as panels useful for interior or exterior cladding for buildings, flooring, countertops, or stairs. The panels comprise at least one battery device or battery assembly that is over-formed by and/or bonded with the architectural material. In preferred embodiments, the panels are formed by flowing a viscous architectural material precursor around the battery device or assembly and curing the precursor so as to solidify the architectural material. The panels may be electrically connected in any number of various arrangements, which can be chosen based on the specific application for the energy storage system.
System for mounting wall panels onto a wall or floor slabs
The disclosed invention provides a system and method of installing wall panels unto an existing wall. The primary object of the disclosed system is to enable mounting of wall panels or windows on an erected latticework. Such latticework is deployed on exteriors of existing walls or is mounted across floor slabs. The system is comprised of a plurality of parallel upright assemblies stretching from slab of one floor to slab of the next floor. Crossmembers fastened to the parallel upright assemblies serve as mounting points for wall or window paneling.
Panel system and support member for use with the same
An end panel bracket useful with a building panel system is provided. The end panel bracket comprises a base, a middle portion extending from the base, a shelf extending from the middle portion, a notch, and a ledge.
Brick panel assembly system
A system for dry execution of a finishing material according to one aspect of the present invention can comprise an angled rod fixed to the outer wall of the building, a fixing bracket in which both ends are fixed and installed to the angled rod, an insulation material provided on one side of the fixing bracket to exert insulation and water blocking performance, and a brick which is provided on the other side of the fixing bracket, and in which an insertion groove is formed on one side that faces with the fixing bracket to be combined in a way to insert to the fixing bracket, wherein the fixing bracket comprises an insertion clip which is inserted to the insertion groove to allow the brick to combine with the fixing bracket, and an elastic clip which is provided on the left and right sides of the insertion clip respectively to provide elastic force that pushes in a direction of the other side of the brick with the insertion clip inserted to the insertion groove.
