Interactive sliding-door device

An interactive sliding-door device has a track assembly, a door assembly, and an interacting assembly. The track assembly is mounted on a top end of an inner space of a building, and has multiple elongated members disposed side by side. The door assembly has multiple boards mounted in the elongated members respectively. Each of the boards has two wheel assemblies, and the wheel assemblies are slideable relative to the elongated members. Therefore, the boards can slide in two ways, and are unrestrained from a construction layout of the building. The wheel assembly is adjustable according to a height of the board. The interacting assembly may be mounted on the board directly or by two mounting assemblies. The interacting assembly has two clamps, two positioning wheels and a cord. The cord is mounted in the positioning wheels and clamped by the clamps and then the boards can slide interactively and stably.

The present sliding door system is designed to reduce opening and closing sliding resistance using magnetic force applied in opposition to the weight of the door. The present system has a particular configuration which is designed to achieve significant magnetic force attraction to overcome the weight of the door despite having compact configuration and which has a mechanism in the form of the horizontal rollers designed to overcome unwanted lateral magnetic force caused by the maximisation of the width of the permanent magnets within the confines of the channel.

A MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR A SLIDING DOOR

An assembly for mounting a door to a rail to move between open and closed positions, the assembly including a carriage, a mounting plate configured to be mounted to the top of the door, a pin extending between the carriage and the mounting plate, a connection member attached to or formed with the pin to connect the pin to the mounting plate, the connection member comprising a head and a neck, wherein the mounting plate has a slot, the slot including a lower portion and an upper portion, the upper portion dimensioned to receive the neck and the lower portion dimensioned to receive the head, and wherein the head is too wide to be received in or pass through the upper portion so that in use the door hangs from the mounting assembly with the mounting plate bearing on the head of the connection member.

Sliding door with braking system

A sliding door assembly includes a door frame with a top trim member, a bottom sill, and side jambs connected between the top trim member and the bottom sill, and a primary sliding panel secured in the door frame. The top trim member includes a track configured to support a weight of the primary sliding panel and prevent the primary sliding panel from coming off the track. Other features include an interlock mechanism to limit relative movement using multiple sliding doors and a brake mechanism to secure the doors in position when the door handle is released. A drop window includes features to accommodate for manufacturing tolerances and box frame assemblies that are out of square.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SLIDING PANEL DOOR SEAL ADJUSTMENT AND CALIBRATION

Methods and apparatus for sliding panel door seal adjustment and calibration are disclosed. An example apparatus includes: a first plate including a slot through which a first threaded fastener is to connect to a door panel; a second plate to be between the first plate and a head of the first threaded fastener when the first threaded fastener is connected to the door panel; and a second threaded fastener to couple the first and second plates so that rotation of the second threaded fastener results in movement of the second plate and the connected door panel relative to the first plate.
