System and method of blockage detection during an automatic adjustment of a movable vehicle part in a motor vehicle
A system and method are provided for detecting blockages during an automatic adjustment of a movable vehicle part in a motor vehicle equipped with an electric motor drive and an electronic control unit. The drive current as well as the movement speed of the drive are detected by the electronic control unit. When the movement speed increases above the normal level, the control unit suppresses the detection of a blockage event if a drive current increase required for the movement speed increase cannot be ascertained.
Apparatus for controlling bus doors
An apparatus for controlling bus doors (14, 16) that are arranged as a pair of doors that move in coordinated relation between door open positions and door closed positions, enables passengers to access an interior area (12) of a bus (10). The apparatus includes an actuator (28, 226). The actuator includes a drive lever (34, 228) that is selectively rotationally movable between rotational positions in which both of the doors are in the open positions and in the closed positions. Exemplary arrangements include at least one controller (128) that is operative to prevent the doors from causing damage to or from being damaged by engagement with obstructions. The controller further enables a bus driver or other authorized user to control access to the interior area of the bus using a user mobile device (144).
DEVICE FOR OPENING AND CLOSING OPENING/CLOSING BODY
When it is determined that there is an individual abnormality, in which an individual drive section is in an abnormal state, while the opening/closing body is being moved by the drive sections or the opening/closing body is stopped in an open state, the opening/closing body operation device performs a restriction control on the drive section with the individual abnormality, the restriction control restricting the movement of the opening/closing body in the closing direction. The opening/closing body operation device makes a comparison of the driving state between the drive section subjected to restriction control and another drive section, and when it is determined that the drive sections are normal with respect to each other, the opening/closing body operation device deems the opening/closing body to be in a normal state and disengages the restriction control.
Concealed electrical door operator
A door assembly includes a first door skin, a second door skin spaced apart from the first door skin and a door operator disposed between the first door skin and the second door skin. An arm extends from the door operator. The door operator includes a motor moving the arm to move the door between a closed position and an open position and between the open position and the closed position. A current sensor generates a current signal corresponding to the current to the motor. A position sensor in communication with the door arm generates a position signal corresponding to the position of the door relative to the frame. A controller communicates with the sensor and the motor. The controller controls a motor current to the motor in response to the current signal and the position signal.
DOOR MONITORING SYSTEM
A door assembly includes a first door skin and a second door skin spaced apart from the first door skin. The assembly also includes an energy sensor generating an energy signature signal and a memory storing a door component operating signature. A controller is coupled to the accelerometer and forms a comparison of the energy signature signal to the door component operating signature and generates a door component operation status signal in response to the comparison.
Anti-pinch detection method and system
The present invention provides an anti-pinch detection method and system comprising: determining a first current change rate according to a current collected in a present period and a previous period; determining a second current change rate according to the current collected in the present period and a target period, there being N periods between the target period and present period; detecting whether a closure component encounters an obstacle according to the second current change rate. If yes, determining the stiffness of the obstacle according to the first current change rate; determining a real-time obstacle compression distance according to a contact position zero point and a motor position collected in real time; and determining a real-time anti-pinch force according to the stiffness of the obstacle and the real-time obstacle compression distance, and controlling a motor to reverse when the real-time anti-pinch force is greater than a preset anti-pinch detection threshold.
Method for detecting an obstacle in an access device
A method for state-based maintenance of an access device of a vehicle, in particular of a public transport vehicle, wherein the access device includes a moveable element and an electric drive for moving the moveable element and is attached to the vehicle. The drive is controlled with control signals, wherein actual state signals for describing the state are generated based on a detected state of the access device. The control signals are applied to a physical simulation model for computationally simulating the access device and determining expected target state signals and wherein based on a comparison between the actual state signals and associated target state signals, a maintenance state of the access device is determined. The simulation model is adjusted based on the comparison between the actual state signals and the associated target state signals.
Pinch detection system
An open-roof assembly for a vehicle roof comprises a moveably arranged closure member, a drive assembly for moving the closure member and a control unit operatively coupled to the drive assembly. The control unit comprises a pinch detection unit for detecting a pinch of the closure member with an object. The pinch detection unit comprises a first pinch detection system and a second pinch detection system. The first pinch detection system is configured to detect a pinch with a soft object and the second pinch detection system is configured to detect a pinch with a hard object. The pinch detection unit is configured to adapt a configuration setting of the first pinch detection system upon detection of a pinch with a hard object by the second pinch detection unit to configure the first pinch detection system to detect a pinch with said hard object.
Method and mechanism for the control of a door, primarily sliding door
For controlling a door driven by a motor, in particular a sliding door, the capacitances of at least two capacitive sensor electrodes arranged on a front surface of a door panel of the door are determined independently from one another with regard to a common reference potential, preferably a ground potential. If a change of capacitance for at least one of the sensor electrodes in comparison with at least one further sensor electrode is determined, a signal to stop the motor is generated.
System and method for window motion control
A vehicle window control system is disclosed. The system comprises a window positioning device and a controller in communication with a mobile device. The controller is configured to identify a distance of the mobile device from the vehicle. In response to the distance being less than a distance threshold, the controller is configured to control the positioning device in a first mode. In response to the distance being greater than the distance threshold, the controller is configured to control the positioning device in a second mode.
