A light-weight unitary window assembly for recreational vehicles and trailers. The window assembly uses a two piece design that seats within the wall or door opening and incorporates a fixed window pane integrally molded into one of the polymer frame halves. The window assembly also uses a plurality of weep holes that extend through the frame halves to vacate water from the window assembly to the exterior of the vehicle or trailer wall. In an exemplary embodiment, the window assembly also includes a sliding window pane that slides along a peripheral track and securely seats in a closed position using a plurality of contact pads to prevent window chatter. The window assembly also includes an integrated latch mechanism to secure the sliding pane.

Rear slider window assembly with laminated heating element

A rear slider window assembly for a vehicle includes a fixed window panel and a movable window panel that is movable between a closed position and an opened position. The movable window panel includes a laminated movable window panel having an electrical element disposed between an inner glass panel and an outer glass panel. The first electrical element is in electrical connection with a wire harness of the vehicle via a flexible connector electrically connected to a first electrical connector at an inner surface of the movable window panel and to a second electrical connector at the inner surface of the fixed window panel. The first electrical connector is electrically connected to the first electrical element via a thin flat connector that extends from the first electrical connector and wraps around a perimeter edge of the inner glass panel of the movable window panel.

The improved sliding glass door or window includes several glass panels that are mounted free-floating in a split frame with an upper and lower section that permits the glass panels to form at least a portion of an external wall of a skybox or the like. The frame and the glass panels that form the portion of the external wall preserves the weatherproofing of the room while also maintaining the safety and security of the room. The glass panels include spaced apart stationary end panels and at least one movable intermediate panel and possibly more intermediate panels as desirable. The end panels each abut against respective room walls with a flexible strip to seal the sliding glass door or window to the walls. The movable intermediate panels may be moved interiorly toward a fixed wall to provide access to the exterior of the room. The intermediate panels seal against the stationary panels to seal the sliding glass door or window thereto.

Devices, systems, and methods for a frame with a slidable segment are disclosed. The slidable segment is slidably mounted within the frame. A first motor is coupled to the slidable segment. The first motor has a first gear affixed to and driven by the first motor. A first gear track may be mounted to a first horizontal member of the frame, wherein teeth of the first gear align with tooth spaces of the first gear track. Rotating the first gear in a first rotational direction causes the first gear to pull the slidable segment in a first linear direction as the first gear walks along the first gear track. Rotating the first gear in a second rotational direction causes the first gear to pull the slidable segment in a second linear direction as the first gear walks along the first gear track.
