ROLL-UP DOOR WITH SPIRAL BRACKETS
This disclosure presents a safe high speed roll-up door with spiral brackets. To enable a high speed operation, robust spiral brackets having efficient spacing are provided to guide the plurality of sectional slats. Durable and low noise signature rollers are used. A unique assembly configuration of the slats and the tracks guiding the rollers enable quick replacement of each individual roller without disassembling the door. A double-belt counter weight mechanism balances the door and incorporates safety sensors that prevent loosening the belts when the door is jammed. The belts are further adjustable using ratchets such that adjustment for the horizontal balance as well as weight position is made effortless. In all, the high speed roll-up door using sectional slats performs faster and quieter, withstands greater loads, and lasts longer than other existing roll-up doors with spiral brackets.
Rolling shutter slat
A slat for a rolling shutter is provided that is formed as a single walled, continuous bent sheet. The slat includes a body having a hook-shaped engaging track at a first end, and a receiving track at the second end comprising a guard member and a hook-shaped lip member that form a pocket for receiving the engaging track of another slat. The guard member includes a portion of the sheet that is bent over on itself. The lip member extends from the guard member, and is spaced apart from the guard member to define an aperture that is sized and shaped to receive the engaging track of the other slat.

MOTOR-OPERABLE AND VERTICALLY MOVABLE GATE
The present invention relates to a gate with a gate panel, comprising several gate panel sections which are hingedly coupled to each other by way of hinges, where a hinge comprises two hinge panels of adjacent gate panel sections, at least one elongate drive means which is connected to at least one gate panel section, and at least one guide means which is suitable to guide the gate panel during its motion. In order to optimize the gate with regard to its installation space, in particular in the width and depth direction, and to ensure simple and inexpensive yet at the same time still reliable operation of the gate, it is proposed to arrange the elongated drive means at least in sections received in the gate panel section.
SHUTTER-TYPE ROLLABLE DEVICE FOR OCCLUDING AN OPENING, COMPRISING WATERTIGHT SEALING MEANS
A rollable device for occluding an opening of a residential building, includes a frame mounted in the opening and provided with at least two lateral guiding slides with a U-shaped cross-section, in order to define a general closure plane, and a set of transverse slats hinging relative to each other in pairs by the respective longitudinal edges thereof, the slats sliding within the two slides between a first inactive raised position in which the slats are wound about an upper transverse axis and a second active lowered position in which the slats are unwound and form an apron for closing the opening. The cross-section of the lateral slides is greater than the thickness of the slats and in the second active lowered position, the slats adopt a vertical accordion configuration in the lateral slides and form, relative to each other in pairs, an angle other than 180?.
VERTICALLY MOVABLE GATE WITH A GATE PANEL
The invention relates to a vertically movable gate with a gate panel comprising several gate panel segments, where two adjacent gate panel segments are each hingedly connected to one another by way of at least one hinge, and with a motorized drive which transmits a force for lifting and lowering the gate panel via at least one drive means to the gate panel, and a connection means for connecting the drive means to the gate panel. Gates of the type mentioned at the outset are improved according to the invention such that, though such a gate can be moved easily between an open and a closed position largely independent of the forces arising, it nevertheless provides a compact and simultaneously stable and fail-safe design in that several gate panel segments are each individually connected to the drive means.
STORM PROTECTION SYSTEM
A protection system for an opening of a building is provided. The system includes a pair of side rails where the pair of side rails each has a pair of offset elongated protrusions contained within a cavity of the side rails. Further, at least one slat extending between the pair of side rails, the slat adapted to connect with the pair of offset protrusions within the side rails. In most embodiments, a plurality of slats are provided to roll up when not in use. A clip is connected to a distal end of the slat, the slat adapted to directly connect to the offset elongated protrusions contained within the cavity of the side rails
Slatted door with increased impact resistance
A shutter roller door with a shutter roller drivable by a drive mechanism; a flexible door windable on the roller and movable between retracted and extended positions by the drive mechanism, the door having integrally formed interconnected slats, each having upper and lower edges, and arranged perpendicular to a direction of door travel; a guide rail assembly positioned at each side; and end members attachable to an end of a corresponding slat. Each slat has an upper hook portion and an upper curved channel, the upper hook portion configured to engage with a lower curved channel of the lower edge of an upper adjacent slat, and the lower edge having a lower hook portion and a lower curved channel configured to engage with the upper curved channel of the upper edge of a lower adjacent slat.
Rolling Door With Improved Robustness for Severe Wind Conditions
A door assembly, which includes a wide door panel having increased flexibility and increased channel width with respect to the wind locks, such that the wind locks will only engage a locking bar in the channels once the door panel flexes beyond a threshold amount. The strength of the material, the utilization of a deep double panel curtain slat profile that allows for both a thicker curtain, plus the ability to fill the void between two slat panels with a lightweight polymeric insulation and the ability for the door assembly components to be allowed more room to expand and move allows this assembly to absorb as well as resist greater forces, impacts and loads imposed upon it.
