Assembly of a Box, in Particular a Roller Shutter Box, and Mounting Frame
An assembly of a box includes an outer wall defining an inner space and a mounting frame provided outside the box and defining an undercut section. A mounting mechanism is provided in the inner space, configured to fix the box on the mounting frame. The mounting mechanism has a clamp extending through an opening in the outer wall configured to engage with the undercut portion of the mounting frame. A lever coupled to the clamp by a hinge allows operation of the clamp between a clamping position and a non-clamping position. The lever is accessible from outside the box.
Roll shutter, awning and blinds hood
A hood for a roll up shutter is provided wherein the hood configured to be transported in a flat or rolled up configuration and assembled upon delivery. The hood includes a sheet having a first surface and a second surface and at least one indentation formed on at least one of the first surface or the second surface, the indentation configured to facilitate bending at the at least one indentation wherein after delivery, the sheet is bent at the at least one indentation so as to form the hood.
AN ELONGATED SUPPORT MEMBER AND A COVER FOR BEING CONNECTED TO THE SUPPORT MEMBER
An elongated support member is adapted to be connected to a wall portion or roof portion defining a space for housing an extendable or movable covering, wherein the support member is adapted for supporting a plate shaped cover in a way that the cover projects from the support member so that it at least partly can conceal the space for the covering. The support member includes a pivot arrangement for forming a pivot axis so that the cover may be pivoted between a non-connected state and a connected state in relation to the support member.
Mounting arrangement
A mounting arrangement comprised of a first component for attachment to a support, and a second component supportable by the first component. The first component has a first side which is in use distal from the second component and provides a supporting portion spaced from the first side. The second component provides an engagement portion for engagement with the supporting portion. The mounting arrangement provides a restraining part moveable between a restraining configuration for restraining disengagement of the engagement portion from the supporting portion, and a release configuration for allowing disengagement of the engagement portion from the supporting portion. The mounting arrangement further provides a securing component which is insertable between the second component and the first side of the first component to restrict disengagement of the engagement portion from the supporting portion.
TEARABLE CURTAIN SYSTEM
A system can comprise a first anchor comprising a first fastening system configured to couple the first anchor to a doorframe; a second anchor comprising a second fastening system configured to couple the second anchor to at least one of the doorframe at a lower portion than the first anchor or a floor to which the doorframe is coupled; and/or a tearable material coupled to and spanning between the first anchor and the second anchor. The tearable material can comprise a plurality of perforations configured to cause the tearable material to tear, while the first anchor and the second anchor remain in place, in response to a user contacting the tearable material.
STORM SHUTTER INTEGRATED INTO A WINDOW OR DOOR
The system includes a storm shutter integrated into a window or door that is installed as a single unit. The storm shutter is made of an aluminum extrusion material that is resistant to hurricane impact, including impact from projectiles. The storm shutter can receive service or maintenance on location, wherein the storm shutter can be repaired or serviced, from inside the building it is installed, without the need to uninstall the system. The system provides for multiple configurations of doors and fixed or operable windows.
INTEGRATED PERIMETER POCKET
A system including a wall-mount hook and a perimeter pocket. The wall-mount hook is attached to a wall and includes a wall contacting portion having a top and a bottom, and a upward facing hook between the top and the bottom of the wall contacting portion. The pocket includes a top portion attached to a first and second leg on opposite ends of the top portion extending downwardly. The pocket further includes a wall attachment region including a downward facing hook and a ledge on an exterior surface of the pocket. The first leg contacts the wall, the bottom of the wall contacting portion slots into the ledge of the wall attachment region, and the downward facing hook of the wall attachment region rests on the upward facing hook of the wall-mount hook. The connection between the wall-mount hook and the pocket constrains lateral and vertical movement of the pocket.
A SUPPORT ARRANGEMENT
A support arrangement is provided for mounting in a wall or roof for supporting at least one extendable covering, the covering being arranged for movement between a retracted state and an extended state for at least partly covering an opening in the wall or roof. The support arrangement includes at least one elongated support member adapted to be attached to a wall portion or roof portion defining the opening and a closing structure for at least substantially concealing the elongated support member.
Header assembly and method for installing retractable screens
A header assembly and method for installing built-in retractable screens. A header assembly is installed after the structure's framing is completed but before the wall finishes are applied. The header assembly includes opposing end boxes and a header board. The side tracks from the screen unit are installed so that the upper ends open into the bottom of the end boxes. This defines a cavity customized to the selected screen unit. With the header assembly and side tracks in place, the wall surfaces can be applied around them. After the wall surfaces are completed, the screen unit is placed inside the header assembly through an access opening, which is then covered with a cover panel. Thus, the present invention eliminates the need to apply wall finishes around an undefined space, which requires multiple measurements and often results in expensive mistakes in the finished cavity dimensions.
