SCISSOR-TYPE GUIDE WITH SPRING BIASING AID
A scissor-type guide for guiding extension and retraction of lamellae. The scissor-type guide includes at least two scissor links, each having a first and second scissor members. The guide further includes a first rotational joint formed between the scissor members of each of the scissor links, and two second rotational joints formed between first ends of a first scissor member and a second scissor member of a first scissor link, and respective ones of second ends of a first scissor member and a second scissor member of a neighboring second scissor link. A spring member is formed between the scissor members at a first rotational joint, or between a first scissor member of the first scissor link and the first scissor member of a neighboring second scissor link at a second rotational joint.

BULLET PROOF BARRIERS
A method of using an anti-ballistic protection system for protecting an interior space in a building. The ballistic barrier includes a laminated material having a plurality of layers of lightweight, flexible, ballistic resistant material such as woven sheets which are secured together into the laminate using a adhesive, heat weld, or stitching. The ballistic barrier in the deployed state is configured to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic projectiles such as a bullet fired from a gun or a shrapnel from a bomb to protect the interior space, and can be used to protect windows, doors, hallways, and walls from penetration by the ballistic projectiles.
Perimeter light blockout system
A perimeter light blockout system for minimizing light leakage between light gaps such as, for example, between the sides of a covering (e.g., shade) of an architectural-structure covering and the interior side surfaces of a window frame, or between the covering and the outer surface of an interior wall is disclosed. The perimeter light blockout system including a light blocking device and a mounting element for coupling the light blocking device to the interior side surface of the window frame, or the outer surface of the interior wall. The light blocking device may include rear and front channel members. The mounting element may be a mounting extrusion. Alternatively, the mounting element may be a spring clip. In use, the light blocking device may be adapted and configured so as not to contact the covering as the covering moves between extended and retracted positions. The mounting element may include a degree of adjustment so that the light blocking device may be aligned with an out-of-skew window frame.

Safety window blind
A safety window blind includes a headrail, a blind body and two control units. Each control unit has a spacer cord having a plurality of cord loop units, a plurality of rings, and a control cord passing through the rings, being operable to retract and expand the blind body, and having a plurality of holding segments. Each of the cord loop units has first and second cords respectively forming first and second loops. For each holding segment and a corresponding cord loop unit, the holding segment has a first extending section passing through the first loop, a first turning section bent around the second cord, a second turning section bent around the first cord, and a second extending section passing through the second loop.
CORDLESS CURTAIN
A cordless curtain is provided according to the present application, to simplify the way of winding a traction cord. The technical solution of a cordless curtain according to an embodiment of the present application includes a stretchable component, a movable guide-line sliding assembly, a guide-line fixing seat assembly and a traction cord. One end of the stretchable component is fixed, and another end of the stretchable component is connected to the guide-line sliding assembly; the position of the guide-line fixing seat assembly is fixed and the guide-line fixing seat assembly is connected to the guide-line sliding assembly via the traction cord.
