Loader control system and loader control method

A loader control system includes: a boom position calculation unit configured to calculate a position of a boom rotatably supported by a vehicle body of a loader; a bucket attitude calculation unit configured to calculate an attitude of a bucket rotatably supported by the boom; a determination unit configured to determine whether the attitude satisfies a predetermined condition on the basis of the attitude and a reference attitude of the bucket in dumping movement; and a work machine control unit configured to cause the bucket to carry out the dumping movement, and output a control signal to cause the boom to carry out lifting movement when the attitude is determined to satisfy the predetermined condition.

System, method, and apparatus for accurately determining payload transfer

Systems, methods, and apparatuses can accurately determine proper payload transfer from a working implement of a working machine. Such systems, methods, and apparatuses can identify occurrence of a payload discharge event for the working implement; determine whether a position of the working implement at a time of the identification of the occurrence of the payload discharge event is in a preset working area or a preset discharge area; omit the payload discharge event from registration for a tally of discharge material payload amount under a first case where the position of the working implement is determined to be in the working area; and register the payload discharge event for the tally under a second case where the position of the work implement is determined to be in the discharge area. The tally of the discharge material payload amount may be increased by a load amount associated with the load discharge event.

Work vehicle with improved loader/implement position control and return-to-position functionality

A method for automatically controlling the operation of a lift assembly of a work vehicle may generally include receiving an input associated with moving loader arms and/or an implement of the lift assembly to a pre-defined position and monitoring a position of the loader arms and/or the implement relative to the pre-defined position. In addition, while a reference point associated with the loader arms and/or the implement is located outside an outer threshold boundary associated with the pre-defined position, the method may include transmitting a first command signal(s) to move the loader arms and/or the implement towards the pre-defined position. Moreover, when the reference point is moved within the outer threshold boundary, the method may include transmitting a second command signal(s) in order to ramp down a movement velocity of the loader arms and/or the implement as the loader arms and/or the implement is moved closer to the pre-defined position.

WHEEL LOADER

A wheel loader includes a vehicular body, a work implement, a front wheel, and a control unit. The work implement is disposed in front of the vehicular body. The work implement has a boom. The front wheel has a tire made of an elastic material. The control unit starts to raise the boom while the tire compressed in a vertical direction rebounds and vertically stretches.

Work machine and correction method of working equipment parameter for work machine

A work machine includes: first working equipment with first working equipment parameter; second working equipment including a parallel link and being attachable to the first working equipment; a swing angle detector that detects swing angle information of the first working equipment; an attitude calculating unit that calculates an attitude of the first working equipment based on the detected swing angle information of the first working equipment; a working equipment parameter storage that stores the first working equipment parameter defined for a component of the first working equipment; a correction information acquiring unit that acquires information on the second working equipment as correction information; and a working equipment parameter correction unit that corrects the first working equipment parameter based on the correction information on the second working equipment acquired by the correction information acquiring unit.

Controlling a digging operation of an industrial machine

Systems, methods, devices, and computer readable media for controlling the operation of an industrial machine including one or more components. A method of controlling the industrial machine includes determining a position of at least one of the one or more components of the industrial machine during a digging operation, determining a hoist bail pull setting based on the position of the at least one of the one or more components and a relationship between component position and hoist bail pull, and setting a level of hoist bail pull to the hoist bail pull setting. The level of hoist bail pull early in the digging operation is greater than the level of hoist bail pull later in the digging operation.

System and method for positioning a lift arm on a power machine

A method of controlling a lift arm actuator and a tilt actuator to control positioning of an implement carrier coupled to a lift arm of a power machine. An activation signal is received from an enabling input device. A lift arm control signal is received from a lift arm control input commanding movement of the lift arm. The lift arm actuator is controlled responsive to receipt of both of the activation signal and the lift arm control signal to move the lift arm to a target lift arm position and to move the implement carrier to or maintain the implement carrier at a target implement carrier orientation relative to a gravitational direction.

Operator assist algorithm for an earth moving machine

A system and method are provided for assisting a machine operator in controlling a work tool of the machine. In an embodiment, the work tool is set at a first height and the machine is travelling at a first machine speed, resulting in a first work tool or machine load. Based on these factors, a first work tool control mode or second work tool control mode is chosen. In the first work tool control mode, the work tool is manually controlled within a load limit and a work tool height limit, whereas in the second work tool control mode, the work tool load is controlled toward the first work tool load. Based on operator inputs and machine state, as well as other factors such as ground surface, the machine may switch between control modes, or out of automatic work tool control entirely.
